Facility was clean. Front gate and units are in good condition. One gate does need a shrub trimmed back, but that's a minor issue. Everyone was helpful. Price is competitive. Would recommend Public Storage.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE AT THIS LOCATION! SINCE DAY 1..THERES NOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT TO ASSIST AND IF YOU CALL THEY NEVER..EMPHASIS ON NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. I WILL BE MOVING MY BELONGINGS FROM THIS STORAGE JUST BECAUSE I CANT EVER GET IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE. IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES, TRUST THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE OR SPEAK TO ANYONE.
It's impossible to give 0 ... I just stopped by the office and everything electronically. Well I think this should be a good experience but is not . I rent the location with a QR code at the glass door. It looks like everything is so good until I paid . I chose the size and got the app on my phone to open the gate , uhuuu wonderful. Everything is modern and working so well when I get the unit , this unit is inside and has another door with another code , now, the nigthmare starts , I can't get in and I go back at the front office with nobody to help you and the machine inside with a live representative inside on big screen . Call them and ask my question she don't know how to answer my question and told me to call 1800 . I called and got the answer machines and just called back at the live representative, and another one gave a code to open the door to access the storage unit . I open the door and look th space , is so far way for me and I decide going back on the screen with a live representative and ask for move my unit and she say the manager will contact me , and I explain about hour and half I back and forward and nobody is there and I asking for my refund and starting record the conversation for my records because is my rigths , she hang up and nobody answering on the 1.800 number ... I don't recommend that anyone use this service from this company . Is it a nightmare and I waiting for my refund .
Im currently in the process of moving back to Atlanta. I called public storage and spoke with Latifah. She was able to give me the pricing as well as all the info i needed to rent a unit.
I haven't even started my rental yet but I'm already giving 5 stars because of Latifah! She called to check on my reservation and was so helpful. The movers are moving my things to my unit without me, and she made me feel so comfortable and informed about the process. Because of Latifah, I feel I am in good hands. She also told me that her colleague, Ben, was there too if I needed him. She sought no praise, applauded her co-worker, and made me a happy customer already. Kudos to Latifah! 5 stars!!
The issue that had ot got quickly taken care within 12 hours and I thankful that it did. I highly recommend this location if you need extra space to clear out the garage or if you have a love one move back home and you don't have the extra space for all of their stuff. Go see Ben......

A quick review of the “reviews’ given to this location show a large number of reviewers who have only written one or two reviews. I will let me make your own inference, but I find it difficult to believe that the service at Public Storage is so great as to inspire one to write their first or second review, and even remember the name the person helping then.
I rented a storage unit (10x15) at this location for approximately 5 years. Always paid my rent before the 6th of each month. About 18 months ago, the so called “property manager" raised my rent by 40%. I called and spoke to him directly and he basically told me that he could raise my rent to whatever he wanted to. A quick review of my contract proved he was correct! I called the corporate office and they were able to get my rate reduced to a more reasonable level. In hindsight, I should have immediately moved my property.
A couple of months ago, the “property manager" raised my rent to $240 per month. Needless to say, I was not pleased. A quick review of the Public Storage website showed units similar to mine for well under $100. Again, I called to try and negotiate a fair deal and was met with a negative response. During this process, I didn’t pay my rent as I was hoping to negotiate a reasonable rate. I received a call from the “property manager” around the 20th of the month reminding me that my bill was still not paid. I informed him that I would pay my bill and vacate my unit before the end of the month.
I paid my bill in full on Jan 29th and went to move out on the 30th. To my surprise, a lock had been put on my unit. So, there I was with a rented truck and and no way to access my property. No one was onsite at this location (11 AM). I called the location, no answer. I called 4 more times….. no answer. I left a message and headed for the Northbrook location to demand access to my property. We arrived at the Northbrook location and no one is there. By now I am livid and run back home to retrieve my bolt cutters. By the time we get back to the storage unit, the “property manager” had removed the lock! No call, no apologies, nada!
Needless to say, I removed my property and got out of there!
I ended up moving to Extra Space Storage near the Mall of Georgia. I’m paying $60 month for a climate controlled unit. Yup, 75% less than Public Storage! Super nice people who are very helpful. (but I still can’t remember their name.) Very nice location and very clean!
I’m happy to be rid of Public Storage and will never darken their door again. I honestly feel like I was taken advantage of! I hope that this honest review will save others from experiencing what I had to experience with Public Storage!

The access hours say 6am-9p, however at 7am, after I drove from out of state 10 hours, the doors to the actual inside storage would not open with the code that I had just used to access the gate. Again no one was present to assist.
This place is filthy and outdated.
This place then had the nerve to email me saying I have a "warning" for leaving my storage after hours because I was 30 minutes late. I had clearly been there all day and didn't leave and reeenter at any time.
My response is "Maybe you guys should have representatives present to assist PAYING CUSTOMERS. Maybe worry about cleaning this facility! It's disgusting. I pay you guys a lot of money so, SHUT UP, DRAFT YOUR MONEY MONTHLY AND LEAVE ME ALONE UNLESS IM LATE On a payment."
This place is lucky I'm military and can't just remove my things because the whole process is RIDICULOUS and unsatisfactory.
I should've taken pictures of all the broken glass, roaches, bugs and trash, since this place wants to send emails.

I've rented here for about 5 years. The rates continue to go up, and the facilities keep going downhill.
So I've never had an experience in the years that I've been at this unit. Let me start by saying I have a small cleaning company and a few employees that come in to get there equipment that they use to perform their jobs. When getting the unit I was advised this was not an issue and it was never a issue until today. I was in the middle of talking to some new hires and this guy...( He didn't even introduce himself places his head inside my unit and begins saying if these people do not have a unit they cannot be on the property. How rude right I know..I told him I would come down to the office and address the situation. Once I get down to office I let him know don't ever talk to me in that manner again and he needs to introduce himself as well and if there is an issue he could have told me to come to office once done. Then he gets his manager on the phone who is just as rude saying I signed a contract. So I asked for corporate number and the guy on the phone states their just going to right you back to me. This new manager is the most unprofessional manager I have ever dealt with.I will keep on complaning...next stop BBB you do not talk to customers that way.

They didn't even wait six months before raising my rates nearly 40%! Yes that is not a typo! My rates went up over 38% in less than six months at this place! They wait until you get all your stuff in and then they hit you with a ridiculous rate increase! I went to the property to discuss. Asked to talk to the property manager and was told "I am the property manager today." I told the person to have their district manager call me. I also contacted Public Storage via their internet contact and asked to speak to a district manager. Over a week later and still no call. I guess they think this is fair and reasonable. I have had other storage facilities FOR YEARS and never experienced any rate increase much less +38% in less than six months. AVOID THIS PLACE!
The rates are "drastically" raised monthly. $400 would easily go up to$550+ monthly. Based on the market? Gouging tactics
I received excellent customer service, and the person that helped me successfully addressed all of my concerns. I was treated with kindness and patience. It was amazing to be helped by someone who went beyond the extra mile.
