A nightmare place to deal with. On day one we arrive to our unit and the door to our outdoor units hallway is WARPED and doesn't close, it's splayed wide open for anyone to come inside. Other than that tiny little padlock on your unit, anyone can come into this facility. I contacted the property manager, Jerry, he said "I already have a work order for that door there's nothing I can do". Fast forward 6 months and they raise my rent!!! Now its been a YEAR LATER and my rent is through the roof. The door to my unit hallway still hasnt been fixed and I am having issues with bugs/rodents/heat ruining my items and personal treasures. I am spraying home defense spray every month I'm there. Just got off the phone with the DISTRICT MANAGER, John, who was useless, telling me he can't do anything about my rate increase even though I've only been there not even a FULL YEAR. I went online seeing rates for only 60 bucks for my same unit. Despite having these issues they refused to lower my rate back to what it was. They trap you with an alluring rate online and then hike up your rate only SIX MONTHS later. They blatantly lie about fixing property damages and serious issues with units and then want more money. I'm out! UPDATE: After 1 year and 1 month, they raised my rent 4 times. I went from only paying $60/mo to over $110/mo. The door to my unit was never fixed. We found rat droppings and found the rats ate at some of our belongings. These issues were reported to public storage and refused to reduce my rent. I moved out 4 days later. I am now at Extra Space Storage! Night and day difference. Super clean facilities and stronger locks for your door. They also let me pay in 6 month increments to lock in my rate of only $54 for the same 5x10' unit.

I've been renting there for over a year. Finally got my stuff out last weekend and found rat droppings everywhere. A big dead rat inside on the floor. Soooo much of my stuff between duffel bags, plastic stuff, even wood furniture got chewed by the rats. The ceiling insulation fell off and onto everything. Had to throw away blankets and some clothes from smelling like rat poo and pee. Was very disappointed while moving stuff out. The bathrooms are always locked. And the dumpster I couldn't use to throw away all the nasty stuff so I had to take it all with me.

It was discussing with rat droppings every where and a big dead rat inside. I would not recommend this location. They also keep the bathroom locked so you can’t use it. And the dumpster is locked too.

It was easy to download the app navigate everything from the first payment to entering and leaving very convenient and simple. Glad we chose Public Storage

Best storage in Pinellas county and the lady at the front is beyond helpful and it was a easy process 5 stars all around, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really enjoyed the easy process of renting a storage unit. The location was perfect less than a few minutes from where I was located. I also appreciate how organized, neat, and clean the place is kept. I will definitely refer anyone that needs a dependable, professional location to store their personal items. You guys rock and I’m so thankful.

AND RATS ALL OVER THE GARAGE UNITS painted and scraped the doors BUT WHEN THEY DID THEY HOT PAINT CHIPS AND OVER SPRAY ALL IN THE UNIT. NO customer service on-site guy and his son ARE NO HELP!! SON SITTN on patio told me to " get lost" when I asked a question.. the bathroom DOESNT WORK.. and sad attempts to " fix " the Insides MAJOR FAIL SEE PICS..

Overall great experience renting for the first time with Public Storage. First, I lost my opportunity to rent a 10x15 unit due to me waiting so long. Jerry called early morning to warn me and encourage me to secure the unit. Even though five hours later the unit was sold he was able to get me a bigger unit for the same sale price as the original. He also managed to transfer me to a higher quality unit once I realized the one I leased needed some moderate repairs. All this was done with a positive attitude and a helpful spirit. No regrets renting from this company and lucky to have been guided by someone so helpful!

Jerry was VERY helpful, he was super swift and took a load off my shoulders in regards to renting a storage unit. All of the computer systems weren't cooperating and the customer service and patience he provided was great

Went to make a payment today. There were other people in line, I acknowledged that. I had no intentions of being disrespectful. I made a simple gesture by showing my purpose for being there. Jerry snaps at me by saying "showing your money is not going to help your wait in line." Was such a hyper emotional reaction even necessary!? That was rude and unprofessional.

They don't mess around about late payments. I had 1 night when I forgot my house keys and I asked for permission to enter after 9pm. Obviously I can't get in my house without key. They were literally going to stop me from going to get my house key I had to do what I had to do and I went back in the storage at 9:20 at night and got my house key and they had a conniption fit. It was very bothering because it's not like I was sneaking around I went to them and showed respect other than that they're great storage facility. I've had recent water damage. I'm hoping I won't have any issues with the claim

DO NOT RENT HERE!~!! No one on property to help and then you get sent to another location. Add in horrible customer support, a app that has not worked since I downloaded it and then to top it all off, without my knowledge, they have raised my monthly rate almost $100, all while still offering a move-in rate for a $1. Really? Trash company and misleading and confusing to the extreme. Do yourself a huge favor and find another storage facility that is not Public Storage.

Been using this place for about 6 months Definitely one of the cheaper options out there Myrtie is great. We couldn't get our lock shut and she rushed over with WD40 and helped out! Highly recommend.

Changed my rating from a 1 star to 3 star. After I posted the bottom portion of this the DM called me within a few hours asking what had happened. I explained the whole situation and he was very apologetic. I typically do not put reviews or negative ones at all. The reason for 3 stars is the lack of communication with the refunding of money that took 2 weeks and this review to be corrected. The DM did exactly what he said he was going to do which is much appreciated. Being in the service industry and managing for 20 years ensuring that a customer is taken care of immediately when it comes to money is priority.. At first thought it was a good place. Received a call as soon as inquired about it. Set everything up as we were moving from out of state. Inside the unit the one wall was falling in from other unit. We decided to move after a few months to another storage company with climate control for $20 more a month. I put our move out date a month later knowing I was about to pay for a month. Shut off automatic withdrawal. On the first of the month we return to give keys back as we had no direction on what to do. There on ground I called. No answer. Called the other number.same. I left 45 minutes later I get a call. Stated it was late and I just drove the 45 minutes back home. I asked of we could just do as instructed next day day August 2nd. Yeah not a problem. Since we went back I was charged for another month! I was in the middle of closing that bank account out which since I was doing that overdraft my account. I called and spoke to and individual. Was told someone would contact me in a day or 2. That was 2 weeks ago and I've heard nothing and don't have money returned.

Worse storage experience every. I rented a unit here 1/2021 I am current tenant with payment in good standing. I have been treated very nasty from the start. My unit is now infested with rodents. I visit my unit often as I have clothing and shoes for work and personal items stored here. Never had a problem until a few days ago I open the door and found many rodents some dying some dead. I am in disbelief My unit has been kept clean food and trash free. Management have been rude and nasty to me as if it's my fault my belongings have been tarnished with a rat infestation. Stay away from this place not fit for household or personal items unless your ok with rats. I have uploaded pictures more coming when I move my things out no stars n shame on public storage
