Laurie was the most amazing person I’ve encountered in my move. Very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone should have her as a resource for when moving. Did I say she has the best sense of humor. She definitely helped me immensely!!!

I would like to start by saying the staff here are GREAT. Friendly and helpful. They get 5 stars. Unfortunately their management doesn't listen to them on several very important items so I cannot recommend this facility. Upper management doesn't care about the service provided and doesn't support their staff, putting customer's safety and comfort at risk and providing sub par service. They literally will not pay to replace carts. This is a basic and expected service and it is wrong not to offer them. For the higher up management, one cart for the entire building is just not ok. Had you told me when I walked in that there was only one cart available, I would have walked right back out again and rented a different storage unit. This is not fair to customers and apparently the management on site don't have the authority to order more carts. So the upper level management really needs to do their job and give the on-site staff the resources to provide full service. We had to unload half a U-Haul by hand while some guy living in his car used the cart for parking lot storage while cleaning out his car. My last storage facility had eight carts available to customers. They chained them up at night so they wouldn't get stolen. The other time I was unloading there was one cart, 2 uhauls and 3 other customers waiting for 1 cart. Also, there really should be a code to get into the building on off hours. If you're a woman unloading things at night, this place doesn't feel safe. There's no security gate or any kind of security until you use the elevators. So anyone can come on the property and anyone can go in the first floor of the building. There is a homeless encampment next door and anyone could be in the building. Rented this facility is just as high as gated facilities but there is no gate. This is another issue with the upper management. The on-site staff say that the upper management state gate is too expensive. However, they are going to eventually lose me as a client if it continues to feel this unsafe and if the cart situation is not fixed. Had it not been a holiday weekend, I would have gone to a different facility over the one cart. It's not fair to do this to the on-site staff and upper management should support them and render the full services expected of any storage facility. Shame on upper management. You raise rents but don't provide any real safety or carts because you care more about money than customers.

Space is well cared for and clean. Davonte was very helpful. Definitely a good experience.

I highly recommend public storage on San Pablo dam road. Laurie and Davonte do an excellent job managing my account and are always there to help with anything I need. They provide personal service and address me by name. I am pleased to recommend them and give them a 5 star A plus rating.

Devonte is fabulous. He's very helpful & willing to help you find solutions if you have issues. I'm not thrilled with the rate hikes, but the service is great!!

Reliable. Safe. Did what I need it to do. Used them for a year. Never had any problems. Davonte is thorough, to the book, and very solution focused. Anytime I needed help he's been prompt to help me solve my problems in the most direct and quickest way possible. Would highly recommend.

I have to agree with the other reviews here. When we first stopped by here, we were warmly welcomed by Laurie. She made us feel at home, and advised us to go online for the best pricing. During the course of our conversation, we found out that we bought a house a block away from her! She told us that when she is not here, Davonte would take care of us and that he was really nice. When we met Devonta on move in, she was absolutely right. Both are super friendly, and provide great customer service. The units, Common areas and grounds are all very clean. Highly recommend this Public Storage facility.

2nd Update: I received a response from Davonte regarding my review and he helped us with requesting a decrease in rent. We received a small decrease but that adds up and will make a difference in our yearly expense. Again, Davonte was very friendly and helpful and seems to take pride in his work and to be working hard to keep this location a great one. I appreciate this very much. ******* UPDATE: BEWARE!!!! After only 4 months, we received a notice that our MONTHLY RATE is being RAISED BY $100. Based on this, I would no longer be so quick to recommend this place. ******** We have been extremely happy with our experience at this Public Storage location. The property is always clean. The items we store here are dust-free and there have never been any signs of rodent activity (which I have read can be a problem at some other storage facilities). The staff is pleasant and Davonte helped make our recent move as easy as can be. Highly recommend.

Davonte was extremely helpful today regarding me rented a storage space unit, I was spending over $800.00 dollar per month for unit, Davonte saved me more than $600.00 dollars a month. Davonte explained the entire process to me clearly and effectively, very patient with me and has a very positive disposition, I will be recommending family & friends to come and rent a unit at public storage.

My 10x20 has steadily gone up to 530 a month, if you need storage use it for a month or so till you need your stuff, but any more than that is a cringworthy cost to keep, I moved and was planning on having my stuff shipped, that didn't pan out because the cost to ship was over 6000, add that to the 500 a month I paid to store it and I could buy brand new 4 times as much, it's such a waste coming back right away 5 years later and I'm forced back because I can't afford it anymore.
