I used Public Storage for several years when I was moving frequently and my living space wouldn't accommodate all my things that I wanted to keep for a possible second home or different residence. I was happy to get my things back - especially some of the favored furniture I had and didn't have the space for. It is nice to be reunited with some things I enjoy but couldn't fit in. and the things I got back were in good condition so if I don't keep them I can sell or forward them to family or friends. I recommend this provider and found their staff especially nice and helpful ! I'm grateful to have my things back. And I'm grateful to this service.

Wanted to give a shout out to the manager, Alan I believe, that helped me out today. My new unit was not clean when I opened it up, some weird slippery substance was on the floor. I last visited my storage unit sometime before COVID, and I went there on Saturday to check on things. I was fortunate to encounter Stacy, who is adept at iPhone usage and was enormously helpful —and patient— in guiding me through the use of the PS app and how to better organize my iPhone. The app, by the way, takes all of the hassle out of entering the gate. The grounds are well maintained, and the small office has packing supplies, including disc locks.

I don't even need storage anymore but I keep mine at pinole public storage for one reason: JESSICA THE PROPERTY MANAGER! SHE IS AMAZING! I love going to storage and seeing her there she is so refreshing and such a pleasure to deal with. She always keeps me updated on things going on with the storage and always reminds me to have my payment in before it is late. I refuse to go in on her days off because she is the only one that I feel is capable of doing everything right. She should serve as an example to how other managers should strive to be. Chris at Public storage was wonderful. He showed us several places and we finally settled on one that we thought would be big enough for what we had to store. He was friendly, courteous and took the time to help us find what will work. He also helped us do the paperwork and answered questions that we all asked.
I came to this Public Storage location looking to rent a unit, after reviewing their info online. Jessica took the time to walk over across multiple buildings to show me their available units, and was courteous, polite and professional. I inquired about renting a climate-controlled unit, and she clearly explained that they do not offer this at this location, as well as the usual temperature variations and other concerns with their outside/drive-up units. This was tremendously helpful, as my plan was to store my cherished piano for a period of time, which would not do well in those circumstances. She took the time to contact a neighboring Public Storage location at my request to inquire about comparable units, asked the staff member there to accommodate my visit within a few minutes, and forwarded the reservation details to Davonte at the other location in El Sobrante. While this may merely sound like regular business operations/practices, I can assure you this level of service is NOT what I have encountered at other storage facilities, which I have used extensively given my multiple moves and use of storage facilities over the years. Many thanks to Jessica and everyone at Public Storage for being awesome! :)

When I went into Public Storage to look at a unit, Jessica R. was super helpful and amazing! She showed me the unit and was able to answer all the questions I had. Best customer service that I've had in a long time!
I found a unit that I needed quite easily and for a good price. The two ladies both named jessica in the office were very nice and helped me with the process. Very clean lot and easy parking!
I have mostly had a good experience here. Recently I needed to switch units because they raised the rent, and Jamayo was friendly and helpful for that process.
I may cancel if they raise the rent again, though I don't know what is typical for storage units in the area. I was paying 160/mo with insurance for a 10x10, which they were raising to 230/mo or something, and moved to a 5x15 for 140 or something (I don't have the exact numbers in front of me). I haven't noticed tweakers on the property like some reviewers have mentioned.

Jessica is a Great person attentive property manager pleasure to deal with. Very knowledgeable and quickly responds to inquiries of all kinds, in regards to the property, policies, rates etc. Everything public storage; She knows her stuff!

Felt the need to call out the great customer service here. I spoke to Jessica who made the online paperwork so easy. I had issues with my account and talked to Justine who walked me through everything I needed. Everyone here is very helpful and nice!
It's a place to store extra stuff that you can't keep at your house.
