If zero stars was allowed that's what would be given. I have two units here with 24-hour access but I pay extra for. My price almost doubled within the first 4 months without notice. Fast forward to around April or May when my daughter's unit was broken into by somebody renting a unit from the backside and coming in the middle of the night and broke nto the units that share the same walls next to them and my daughter's unit stealing all of her heirloom jewelry and other items. We were never notified. We found out because when we came to get something from her unit it was double locked. After numerous messages left for the on-site manager probably 2 to 3 days later we got a phone call advising us burglary had happened. Mind you my daughter's unit is probably six or seven down from the on-site manager's residence. We were told that there was video that corporate was going to be reviewing however nothing was ever done we did file a police report but still nothing was ever done. Fast forward to last month I live in Arizona and I come out once a month. I've been diagnosed with cancer and a bunch of my paperwork and other items are locked in the storage unit. There's a second lock on my unit. I have never been late and there should be no reason why. After leaving several messages I finally get the onsite manager to call me back one to two days later again. She said it's not their lock she didn't know who did it maybe somebody I know did it. Flabbergasted. I don't know why but for some reason I just assumed that public storage would take care of it. Came back into town last week trying and access my unit again and the lock is still there. Left a message for the on-site manager called me back 4 hours later and said it's not their lock nothing she can do about it I can hire a locksmith at my expense or there's a form I can fill out they have a guy that comes once a month to cut locks off but she couldn't tell me when this would happen. (Why didn't she mention this last month so I could have filled out the form last month and had access to my unit). I again try to explain that I have cancer and I need to get in there for my paperwork doesn't matter still can't give me a time or a day when their guy can cut the lock off. Furiously I went to the office and filled out the paperwork after waiting another 2 hours for her to show up. Called the district manager. She called me the next day tried to be helpful I tried to explain to her again I really am desperate to get my paperwork out and that I only come in once a month can't afford to come back and forth just to try and get into my storage unit. She said that it would be off by Tuesday and I said great can I come Tuesday evening she said wait till Wednesday and they'll call me to let me know for sure it was done. It's now Friday at 6:55 p.m. just got here and the lock is still on. Oh and I also got a notice they're raising the rent again almost double to what I originally paid. I really really really recommend you do not use public storage in Redlands for your storage needs. On-site manager is the most unempathetic person I have ever met almost impossible to get a hold of never in the office. I understand that she does a couple of different sites but since day one it's been such a challenge to try and even speak to her and doesn't help when you do. So now I have to go back to Arizona no paperwork for the medical stuff I need to have done and another month without access to my storage unit. If I ever do have access again I will be immediately vacating the premises along with my daughter's unit. Can you imagine paying $600 a month to not have access to your personal items unbelievable.

AFTER MY PARENTS STORAGE UNIT WAS BROKEN INTO, THE PROPERTY MANAGER ACTS WEIRD AND SUSPICIOUS.
SHE CALLS MY PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER ABOUT MATTERS THAT DON’T MATTER. WHEN I STOP BY TO CHECK THINGS OUT, SHE WILL MAKE A BEE-LINE STRAIGHT TOWARDS OUR UNITS, ACTING LIKE SHE IS CLEANING, SHE IS JUST TRYING TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE. BAD SERVICE, NO VIDEO FEED OF THE BREAK-IN, WHICH RESULTED IN SEVERAL UNITS BEING BROKEN INTO.
NO SECURITY ON SITE, JUST A NOSY WOMAN ACTING NICE.
PLUS TAILGATING IS ILLEGAL, YET IT HAPPENS HERE.
Great experience from start to finish! The process of getting a storage unit was quick, easy and very convenient. We would definitely use them again if we ever need storage in the future, specifically the Redlands, CA location, the staff there was very helpful.

Moving SUCKS! With all the stress that comes with it, it was so nice to have a great experience at a storage place (of all places).
Let me start by saying the facility (office and units) is very clean. I received excellent customer service from the attendee, Niecey (hope I spelled that correctly). After a stressful day of moving, I decided a storage unit was needed. Not wanting to deal with any more humans, I made my reservation online. Unfortunately, I had no clue what I was looking at and didn’t want to be overcharged, so I begrudgingly walked into the office 30 minutes before closing, expecting poor customer service, but I got the complete opposite.
Niecey was so polite and explained everything in a clear, concise way that I understood all current and future charges (their billing process is different, so I really appreciated the breakdown). And to add the cherry on top, she even waited for me to view my unit to see if I wanted to upgrade due to the size (I did).
I was so grateful I tried to tip her, but she insisted she couldn’t. Honestly, everything about how this process brought calm to such a crazy day made me feel guilty about not being able to tip her.
Outside of the excellent customer service, there’s also an awesome app that gives access in and out of the gate, plus the option for 24-hour access.
This was a genuinely pleasant and convenient experience.

I've had theee different units here for nearly 4 years. During this time I've received nothing short of amazing service from Niecy, the property manager. She's super sweet, always has the answers to my questions, genuinely amazing. The property is very clean. Never seen any bugs, animals, or trash. Even if I find cheaper units somewhere else, I'm probably staying here. It's way too well kept and managed to leave.
Would absolutely recommend this facility over others. Ask for Niecy eveytime!! She never disappoints!
My experience here was pretty good. The storage location was always clean and looked after. I never had an issue with my unit. The employees were always friendly and approachable. They answered my questions and helped me when needed. I moved out because we no longer needed the storage unit and because it was getting a little pricey. But overall, it was a good experience.

The outside restroom for customers has been "out of service" for 13 months in a row.
The restroom in the office is not for customers. There is no restroom on site for customers. Being in the construction business it is obvious they simply do not want to clean the public restroom.

The property manager "Neicy" is extremely rude and unprofessional. Not sure how she achieved manager status with her customer service skills. We were so close to unloading and she kicked us out. She couldn't spare 5 minutes. She claimed the gate was "broken" and she couldn't go over the 5pm limit. Its unfortunate some people lack empathy and kindness.

Only rating for the property manager “Niecy” , she is very unprofessional. I spoke with her on the phone hours prior to coming to rent a storage. I couldn’t pay over the phone due to only having cash, not ONCE did she mention they do not accept cash payments at the location. I physically get to the location and she sees me unloading my things from my Uber from her car inside of the gate. Not once did she greet me or let me know she is leaving just had me sitting looking inside the office because there was NO sign on the door explaining she will be leaving or when she would be back. I seen her start to drive out of the gate and tried to stop her and all she did was shake her head I waved for her to let the window down and asked her if she can just accept my payment before leaving. She said “no I'm already clocked out”. I had to ASK “well are you leaving for the day? For lunch? When will you be back” she replies with an attitude “I don’t know” I wait 20 minutes for her to get back. She didn’t greet me not one time , she opened the door and said “what do u need help with” I let her know I needed to finish my rental agreement which is when she said I needed a card which should have been mentioned over the phone if she had knowledge of good customer service knowing I already said I only have cash. She needs way more training in customer service, empathy & time management within her position. I have worked for public storage and other storage facilities in the past as well as to know bank deposits and/or post office runs should be done BEFORE lunch time and if it was busy she should have a better attitude after leaving MULTIPLE customers coming with no signs on the door I had to personally tell everyone myself “she will be back”. Please train her better! Very well kept property, however.

2024 update: Niecy is still a fantastic manager, incredibly helpful, and provides consistently excellent service. Public Storage has been a trusted company for me for seven years.
This place is the best I've rented a unit from. It's always clean and the area is nice. The manager Neicy is the nicest person and incredibly helpful and professional with everything. I also love that I can use their app on my phone to open the gate without having to use the keypad. They also sell boxes, locks and covers for mattresses and couches. I've had the most positive experiences at this place and highly recommend this location to people all the time. I've honestly always dreaded going to any storage places I've had previously, but now it's such an enjoyable experience. I also want to add that if you have ever struggled opening up storage doors before you absolutely need a unit at this place. These are the easiest of doors to lift. I can actually do it with one hand! I've always dreaded having to open up storage unit doors until I got this one. Saved my back from so much aches and pains.

Had a great experience here. Niecy the on site manager is amazing and always on top of everything. We’ve had a unit here for over a year and all I can say is that this place is well maintained. Anytime I had a quention, Niecy had an answer. Good hire corporate! Give this woman a raise! She’s well deserving of it and how she carries herself and takes care of the clients and the business. So far I have had a smooth transaction with this place. Ordered my unit online, they had it ready to go without even having to talk to the front office. Got the lock and key in the unit. Clean and easy to access.

Summer and Niecy both are an amazing help! They are both very kind and knowledgeable. I came in on two separate occasions and met both. They were able to help me chose the right storage space that would meet my needs. I thought this would have been more of a complicated process, but thanks to them they made it a fast and easy experience. This place is a rip off constant fees for this and that administration fee, insurance, despite having 24 hr surveillance and having their mandatory safe locks, a coded gate entry they
just want to bleed every little cent from you, I recommend any another place but here

Overpriced, but aren't all storage places overpriced these days
Niecy was great, she answered all my questions, was polite, professional and a pleasure doing business with.
I had a reservation. I showed up to the property with the door locked but says they are open it was right before 5pm. They close at 6. There was an employee sitting in a room on her phone when I peeked threw the window. I was standing out there calling an knocking on the door for over 20 mins no one ever came. I decided to call another storage Cube Storage where they were very helpful. This employees called me 5 mins before 6 to ask if I wanted to reschedule. I explained what happen she stated that the window I saw her threw is an apartment an she was on her lunch break. A lunch break an hour till you get of. No that was a lie. It was important to me to get my storage I had to take my U-Haul back. This lady sat there with no respect or customer service to let me know anything. Then had the nerve to call me 5 mins before they close to ask if I want to reschedule. No.! I took my business elsewhere where I was helped immediately and guided threw to do everything online due to them being closed. I will never recommend anyone to come here. Very rude an unprofessional.

Me and my girlfriend were considering moving but we had so much stuff to take with us. I decided to come to this facility to get some advice about storage. The worker there Niecy was very friendly and approachable. She answered all my questions throughly and to the point. I am going to recommend this place to all of my friends. (Update) when I came in to take my girlfriend off the lease again Niecy was there and was just as helpful as the last time when I got my storage unit. I don’t know who will see this but she has been the most professional associate that worked there since deciding to leave my stuff store at this facility. I’m still going to recommend my friends here!! Great costumer service!!!
