There is NEVER anyone in the office and NOBODY EVER answers the phone. Good luck if you ever have any issues! Unless of course you are renting. They'll definitely take your money! I couldn't even get anyone on the line at the corporate office to complain. What happened to customer service. I guess once they get your money, they're done with you!

I was trying to contact a live person for issue with obtaining copies of leases from time deceased father rented units at the 171 Arroyo Parkway location, his estate has since moved out from this location back in 2022. I need this information to provide to the estate attorney ASAP. The number I called is not helpful to get through.

I intentionally booked 2nd floor with access to the elevator. When I showed up, I had no access to the elevator or building. Instead, they switched me to a unit in the basement with a steep ramp. The employees were extremely rude. I was supposed to pay a $1 for the first month. 2 weeks later I was charged $75. What happened to my move in special of $1 for the first month?

Hi, I just wanted to take a moment to share my personal experience with using Public Storage at 811 Bookman Rd in Elgin, SC. The customer service that we received from Ms. Sheliah was amazing. She was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable to all of our needs and concerns. She made the experience with using the storage unit with this company at this location really great. If you are looking for a great storage facility, you may want to try this one it was very clean and we felt safe leaving our belongings at this facility. I was in a panic today because I couldn't get the gate code box to work. I went to the office and Sipi and Nick helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. They were super helpful and very patient with me, which I really appreciated. They definitely saved the day for me.

ROBBERY! I GOT BROKEN IN!! THEFT! MAY 23 i was notified someone broke into my indoor unit and stole my personal stuff!!! Terrible lock and security system! And of course they refused to share with me video footage or even file a police report. THIS WAS AN INSIDE JOB!!! 100%!!! It took me 10 hours to get hold of someone there to meet me and all they did was move whatever left into another unit!! BEWARE!!! LOCATION 7435 W. Sahara Ave, Las Vegas!
This place was chosen because of convience it literally is across the street from my new apartment and around the corner from where we use to live. There was one small issue with a worker but it has since been resolved.

Just moved location from Public Storage by Pecten Ct/Watson Ct to the one in Dempsey Rd. When I first inquired, I met the manager named Angel. She showed me some units to see how much space I really needed and set it all up for me so I can move in easily. Angel made it a breeze! She was very accommodating and enthusiastic! Loved her vibe while I was inquiring. She also keeps the compound well kept and clean which is really great. My previous public storage wasn’t as clean and the gate was always malfunctioning.

I met with representative Paul at the Lake Under Hill Public Storage location. Initially, I had a storage space in mind, but after speaking with Paul and obtaining his advice he informed me I wouldn’t need a storage of that size for the amount of items I want to store.

Kahekili was very helpful from the start and gave us a tour of the various storage sizes and locations (on different floors) to find the most ideal storage for our needs. We were able to easily find the perfect one for us and were quickly signed up and paid in a matter of minutes thereafter. The service was excellent! Glad we decided to make a visit today.

It's excellent. Nick at the Arroyo Parkway Pasadena branch is the best representative the company could have! All the information you need is widely provided. And everything you need to do is very easy to manage through the app.
Editing my review: This is a VERY MAJOR NEGATIVE: There is not a single trash can anywhere. I asked Nick and he told me it's because customers used to leave big things in the trash. In a place like this, IT IS MORE THAN OBVIOUS that customers will have things to throw away. The rate (which is not cheap by the way) MUST include at least small trash containers!
I will be waiting for a response to understand this MINUS MINUS which is a normal service for customers anywhere!

Quick and simple process to get a new space set up and ready. Kim in the office was great and made the process that much easier. They offer move-in specials and it is conveniently located in Midtown. Everything is secure and seems very safe and the property seemed very clean and in good working order. I like the app option as well.
Property Managers Kathleen and Kym give thorough courteous professional care to the customers. I was once called to let me know that I had improperly placed the lock on my unit which could lead to my unit being opened which means they are monitoring the security of my unit. I am a happy customer !

I want to tell everyone I can about my move-in cause I know how crazy and hard some of the storage places can make things. But, I Had a great move-in. Shirley at the Dallas, texas Harry Hines location made my move in fast, easy, and pleasant. When you have spent the day moving and running around and having a hectic day and you walk in greeted with a friendly smile and a person so willing to go above and beyond it makes everything so much better.

Since I am out of the country, I called everyday and left messages for three weeks and he never answered the phone to help me get my things. Why is he working there? He should be fired.

In the office at this location they gave me information about the pricing that led me to agree to purchase storage with them. The next thing I know I’m being billed a different amount, which of course is a higher amount. They will take absolutely no responsibility for them providing inaccurate bad information about the pricing of the storage units to me to get me to sign up. so I have to bear the burden of their incompetency and misinformation. So you have to question the truthfulness of what you’re being told especially when it comes to pricing or else you will end up in the same boat as me. No integrity at all. If they had integrity, they would provide me with a credit for the difference based on following through with their word that was given to me to sell me on the unit, to get me to sign up. So it’s essentially a bait and switch. Give me one set of information and then switch after I moved in and signed on the dotted line. Buyer beware!

Have rented here twice before with no issues and good service. So when I needed to rent for a third time it was an easy decision to do so with Public Storage. Rachel made the sign up process easy and quick and I expect this time around to be as uneventful as the previous two. And uneventful at your storage unit is what you want.
The night before renting a 10 x 10 rental unit at the Public Storage branch located at 7920 Deering Ave in Canoga Park, CA I ran into a glitch using the online Public Storage unit booking software. Then the following morning I called the corporate division to discuss the glitch but my call was transferred to four different department associates and 3 of the associates understood the glitch but could not do anything resulting with my time being wasted. The 4th associate helped me as much as he could but could not proceed further due to his hands being tied by corporate policy so he suggested I speak with the Deering onsite manger. I drove to the Deering branch and spoke with the manger and her name is Lluri. I explained the glitch to Lluri and within minutes she acknowledged the glitch, understood the glitch, did not make any corporate robotic excuses regarding the glitch and then without hesitation she offered to show me two different 10 x 10 units and also offered to lower the monthly rental cost but the best part is she did not have to call the Public Storage corporate division to ask for approval. It's extremely rare I make time to write a review because I'm very busy and also unfortunate the criteria of the Public Storage review software is "Limited" to a 5 Stars positive ranking criteria because the quality of Lluri's professionalism ranks 10 of those Stars.

3108 Northern Blvd Long Island City Ny This storage does false advertising. They are not climate controlled. They keep it at a consistent 82 degrees Fahrenheit when other storages have their temperature at around 70- 75 degrees Fahrenheit. I nearly passed out on move in day from how hot the facility is. I store clothing and sell online and some of the clothing has developed mold and damage due to the high temperature and humidity. If I am going to be paying $400 a month for a unit I would expect air conditioner and proper cooling. I noticed a pile of trash and debris that was not disposed of for two weeks. There are rat traps everywhere for the mice and rat infestation. I saw a rat scampering across the grated cieling part of the unit. I'm afraid they may damage the clothes. If the temperature does not drop to 75 degrees and the rat problem gets addressed I am leaving. Stop the false advertising these units are NOT climate controlled.

FAAAAKE 5-star reviews- Check out the “people” reviewing and notice theyve only left ONE review and are constantly naming DIFFERENT “employees” who allegedly hwlped them. These employees dont exist. This location has, like, three people on their payroll.
Now, for mine…. Buyer beware; as the other reviewer mentioned there are lots of hidden fees. Scary slow elevators that leave you wondering whether or not youre actually stuck. Horrible people constantly blocking gates. No garbage cans to throw any type of rubbish into. Monthly billing makes no sense. Sketchy at best.

I went to reserve a unit online and decided to wait on signing for the unit until I could see it in person. I'm glad I did because Evan, who was working that day, was able to show me different units to help fit my needs. Evan was very courteous and answered all of my questions. The units we saw were all clean and the facility was well kept. Definitely feel good about this decision as a first-time storage renter. Thanks Evan!

Larry at Public Storage on Hillsboro blvd in Deerfield Beach, FL couldn’t have been more welcoming! He cheerfully greeted me and was extremely helpful. He took the time to be sure i had selected the correct size unit (i had selected on-line) for my needs. Since i was uncertain - he was eager to show me the actual and other comparable units. He even helped me solve the puzzle of fitting my specific items in the space! Larry then clearly explained all the “legalese” in the contracts, showed me how to work the gate & off I went ! The experience was 5 star & he is a stellar representation of Public Storage. Thank you Larry!
I went online and reserved a 12’x25’ shed (300sq ft) for a monthly rate of $236. When I came to the office the next day I was told that unit was rented out earlier in the day, so it seems getting a reservation doesn’t mean they will actually reserve it for you, you’ll get that price if they didn’t happen to have already rented it before you got there.
I was then told the next closest unit would be a 10’x25’ (250sq ft) for a monthly rate of $256. So less space for more money per month. Kind of felt like a “Bait & Switch”.

Nathaniel is the best! He treats everyone as if they are the most important thing about his day. The grounds are always spotless and he goes the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome and have all your questions answered. This is my family’s second experience in the last 4 years renting a unit at this location and Nathaniel has been wonderful to deal with both times.

The storage unit was very clean and easily accessible.
Called and got a reservation for a unit and they looked up what specials they had in the area. Went in after reserving a unit, had Crystal show me the unit and sign the paperwork all within a few mins. Super easy and simple and broken down for you to understand.
Omar was fantastic. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. He answered all our questions and showed us the unit on 2 different occasions (to quell our anxiety) before eventually renting it to us. He is an asset to Public Storage for sure. Thanks Omar
I made a reservation on a Sunday for Wednesday. I got about 5 calls with 2 voicemails asking that I needed to call back to confirm my reservation. I called back on Monday and a representative told me I needed to go to the store to ensure my reservation, even though I had replied on a text message "confirm". I was there on Monday and the nice ladies told me my reservation was good to go for Wednesday and I could come back on that day. I could also finish my registration online but due system issues I wasn't able to do so. Therefore an online agent said I had to go to the store and finish it. It's Wednesday morning and the place was closed for 2 hours. I had to make a second trip coming back to complete my rental. I was not notified of the circumstances. On top of this I couldn't get the promotion because they told me a relative had previously used this service under the same address. I was told it's only one person per household. Again I wasn't notified by anyone about this. On top of this the app isn't working. The only thing that's good about this storage company is the customer service. They apologized all the way to end for all the trouble.
I worked with Rachael who was a very big help to me in getting a second storage unit. She was knowledgeable, patient and friendly.
I also want to mention that Cornell was really kind and pleasant when I called and more than willing to help me navigate the Elevator when i came out.

I DO NOT recommend!! My stuff has been in storage less than 30 days and the property manager changed the locks without notifying me. Not only did he change the lock that I bought from them for $20 but he also accessed my unit without my permission. I’m still waiting on a call back from them. They are super unprofessional!!
