Rent was raised after only 3 months. Was never told it was any kind of promotional rate.

My storage unit at Extra space was broken into and basically they gave me a phone number of the insurance company to call and wish me luck ... That was when I moved to Public Storage on Main & Struck and found the staff friendly and helpful. Nice and clean.

Danny the property manager on staff was a tremendous help when I had an inquiry regarding my payment increase. He went beyond to keep my payment intact & took the time to listen, help me out & follow through on his promise. Def great customer service on Danny behalf especially on a Sunday. Grateful that the concern was resolved quickly by him!

This location is amazing cause huge shout out to Gabe soon as I walked into the door, I was greeted and I knew this place was going to be for me. I was already tired of driving around to different storage facilities cause then I came across this location the previous five locations either were really rude or lack of experience and at this location, it felt natural and sincere, and after asking say ready to sign up for a Storage out of all the locations of been to none of them are taking the time and explain and help me understand Gabe took the time to address all my issues. Ever since they hired a new guy that's been there recently it has been absolute hell they're corporate policies and the way they do their management and customer service sucks. There are plenty of other cushy jobs that they're best employee would have a better time working at then this dead end waste of space-

Just a word about the manager Gab, not only is he friendly and very helpfulness but also seems to work very hard at keeping the location clean not only of trash, but also of people just seeking to hang out and around the property. Being serviced in a safe and well kept environment is important to me, so hats off to Gab and his team.

I've been storing my stuff at this location for almost 7 years now. It's always been very clean and security has never been a concern. Gabe is the manager on site and is so awesome to work with. He's always very helpful and more importantly always in a good mood. He is a pleasure to see each month. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to stor their stuff.

I posted a review 2 years ago which was positive. Now honestly has gone down in quality there's always trash and there has been break in incidents because the rent to all this homeless druggies which by the way Stay over night cooking food. PS with the high Rate prices you are charging the least I would expect is to at least hire a night shift security guard.

I rented a unit here for over a year and didn't have a single positive interaction with their staff, who always seemed frustrated, or apathetic at best. They raised my rent with very short notice by an unreasonable amount at a time twice in that year and responded very patronizingly to my emails about it. On multiple occasions when I needed something from the single staff member on duty (despite the rent increase, they won't pay for adequate staff), the office was locked with no way of contacting the person who was doing their rounds, so I had to wait over an hour, once while they had my driver's license, throwing off my whole moving schedule. There has never been any accountability or apology for the inconvenience. I'm so relieved to have moved to a mom-and-pop storage company for nearly $100 a month cheaper. They are gouging customers, and for what?

We’ve been at this storage facility for a few years now and have seen many different managers. They’ve all worked hard to improve things which has kept us here. We recently downsized from 2 units to 1 unit and Gabe was very helpful and made the move out super easy. We’ve noticed that it’s been much cleaner in the last few months and Gabe was very communicative when there were issues with the elevators.

Rates tend to increase, elevators usually don't work properly and the cleanliness is terrible. The restroom is disgusting, can't even wash your hands after you've moved in or at all. No soap or toilet covers. Very disappointed.

Gabe made the sign up process fast and easy. Very professional and easy to talk to.

Gabe was an excellent help for us in getting our daughter in and out of storage for college housing. We had tried to book with another local Public storage location and they were less than helpful. We found this location very last minute and everything was very seamless. Gabe was especially helpful on our move out day!

Back Again! I had a unit at a different public space facility a few years back but switched to extra space cause they had a promotion going, Big Mistake. Public Space website let me reserve my 10x23 drive up unit with no credit card! On my move in day I had a work emergency, couldn't get there until 4:50pm when they close at 5pm & it was Easter Sunday! My man Miguel @ Public Space #25522 stayed late, expedited the check in while still ensuring I understood everything.

I am so grateful to the storage manager and his thorough care of the facility where I have a storage unit. His name is Giovanni. He found my unit damaged and called me immediately to let me know he was taking care of it. When I arrived to the unit, he showed me pictures of the damage and walked with me to the unit to show me it was repaired. We then opened it to verify all my belongings were safe and still in the order I left them. I really appreciate this kind of service. I have trust my belongings are safe, but knowing he is doing this kind of detail to watching the units, built even more trust that I am being well taken care of. Thank you to Giovanni. What a great asset he is to Public Storage.

From the very beginning I was met with a friendly staff unsure exactly what I needed Kyle and Geo guided me through the process and helped me to pick out the best space for my needs having dealt with other storage places in the past and this being my first Public Storage experience I have nothing but good things to say about the facility and the people who work there

Nice and quiet inside, homeless camping on sidewalk in front of place for well over 3 months, making a mess of things, other than that, nice, very clean, good service, rates change overnight, sometimes when you make a reservation online. The rates can be higher or even lower

Awful customer service and clueless on how to run the place . Must be under new management as it was wonderful before these clowns they have now are running it. They do not care who they run off. Horrible service , moved out immediately once we found out they change rates , make mistakes and do not acknowledge mess ups or apologize for their errors but want to charge you instead for their issues. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this place! Mention you saw this complaint we will give you free storage and save you the stress!

Knocked 1 star off for only being able to properly lock your unit IF you buy a lock from them for 20 bucks 🤔 I would absolutely still recommend this location. I’ve had such a negative experience with this property. I highly recommend looking for a different property that actually ensures that it is properly maintained. I’ve been trying to convey my issues with the management and their upper management for the last 8 months, however they haven’t taken any actions to resolve or address the concerns that I’ve expressed. For the last almost 8 months the lights outside of my unit have not been working which makes it difficult to access my unit due to it being dark and can pose a safety hazard as well. I tried to bring this to the attention of the property, but the property manager would not contact me in regards to the issue. I then decided to escalate the concern to the district manager, Tiffany, however I would always get her voicemail. Unfortunately, Tiffany was not professional enough to respond to my voicemails and I never had the chance to speak with her. After trying to communicate with Tiffany I then spoke to Bilal who said that he would address the situation, which never resulted in anything. Just last week I spoke with Ken, the Regional Vice President, who I hope will help resolve this issue. It’s just kind of interesting to see how they can raise the price of the unit and invest money in renovating their office, yet I can not get them to fix a light. This truly shows that all they care about is making money and not taking care of their tenants because there are also other lights that do not work throughout the property as well.

I love the customer service that Evelyn provided me with. She answered all my questions and doubts. I’d definitely recommend going with her if you’re looking a new storage place.

I don't visit this place too often, but I did go twice this month and both times I was greeted and helped by Alexis. She is so sweet and is why I am giving 5 stars! She has really excellent customer service skills. Maybe she should be training some of the other employees since they're pretty rude sometimes.

The office is under renovation and their temporary office is a trailer with a small sign. I was rushed to sign the contract just to find out too late the gate hours are ridiculous! But the reason for the one star is that I was pressured to leave a review, the woman said “do you have a google account? Can you review us while I finish your paperwork, but we only accept 5 star reviews” what in the world? What happened to my constitutional right of free speech? I declined and suddenly she was already done with my paperwork. So in other words she lied and tried to trick me to leave a review right there and then before I even had any experience with the place. I gave my number and asked her for them not to call me. She said only for emergencies. Well they have called 7 times since because I never put a lock on the unit as it is useless to me with those gate hours, which are the same as my work hours. Rather inconvenient. So not taking possession of the unit does not qualify as an emergency, specially after I explained this to Crystal. Who really didn’t care and let me tell you, watching her so pregnant smoking on the side of the building is rather disgusting! Not happy, do not recommend this place to anyone and they should be more profesional! Go somewhere else, not worth it.

Although I have been a loyal customer for more than 14 years, I cannot get any assistance from anyone in the entire organization to combine my two units on one bill. I keep getting empty promises from local and regional management. Repeated promises that, "someone will call you". This has now been going on for more than 2 years without resolution. This is the WORST company I have ever tried to obtain customer satisfaction from. To add insult to injury, the lighting above my unit Is not functioning. FOR MORE THAN 3 MONTHS! Again, "we are working on fixing the light" FOR MORE THAN 3 MONTHS . I will be taking my business elsewhere and I encourage anyone who reads this will take my words in consideration before you give them yours.

I'm adding to my original review...Well I got snowed again! I decided to give them another try and once again it's the same story...they get you in at a special rate and super competitive prices and then boom! up goes the rent 3 months later! And I have called and left messages with the "manager" more than 3 times about the lights being out right over my storage unit and NEVER received a response. Don't be fooled by the "good" prices in the beginning...there's better places out there. So, after JUST having my rates go up I get hit again!! Another $25!!! I called to ask about the rate hike and the girl says to me..."oh you should have received an email" well sweetheart, no I didn't! And then proceeds to tell me that's something they do at the beginning of every new year. Really?! Increase my rates again because it's a new year?! Why don't you try keeping your customers happy instead of driving them away? I guess you do just enough business to keep your doors open. And that's a joke because half the time the doors are locked with a "be back" sign up. Oh, and one more thing...God forbid if you need to use the bathroom!! The last couple of times I went to my storage, and I don't go often at all, the bathrooms were "out of order" and when I brought this to the attention of whomever was working that day, they apologize and suggested I go next door to Danny K's...you have GOT to be kidding me! I can't wait until I have the funds to get the heck out of there!!!

Unprofessional staff, dirty facilty. I would never recommend that location to anyone. As a business owner such as myself I felt very rushed in the process,Evelyn was not answering any of my questions or concerns, very disappointed . Taking my business elsewhere.

Sucks Staff has no personality and the have no reasoning no answers and just say what ever they want if it a policy or not .. hours suck and if you have your stuff out side you locker and you go down anytime after 9pm your stuff is out all night with people who live there. DO NOT TRUST PUBLIC STORAGE, this facility does not monitor the interior of the building with cameras. My belongings we're STOLEN out of my locker with no signs of forced entry after only 3 months of storage. Over $600 in property lost and all of my belongings we're touched. Most likely an inside job judging by lack of evidence. Before and after pics included, notice the missing longboard and open boxes.

Super Clean and helpful!

I love this facility, It is always fresh inside meaning your items won't go bad by the weather or heat outside. It is always clean and Shannon is super friendly.

I am impressed with how clean and up-to-date this Public Storage facility is. After completing the online reservation I met the property manager Shanon later that same day. After seeing the unit and how clean and secure the facilities are I signed the lease. Shanon made the process as simple as possible.

Much better than most PS locations. We'll managed, clean, and not boiling in the summer. Shanon is a fantastic manager, too. We had an issue and she was all over it while juggling several other customers. Awesome 😀

I just moved out of this facility a short while ago after having a medium sized unit there for almost 2 years. They were always friendly, cooperative and seemed genuine in their interactions with me.

Surprisingly very good. Sheri the lady at the front was very helpful very good coustmer service. Have one on the fourth floor gets kinda hot up that's the only drawback

I was looking for a 10x15 drive up. My girl and I came to this location because it had a lot of good reviews. Unfortunately, Jatziry didn't have any available at the moment. But she offered to look at other location close by but they where out of our budget. She was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Great customer service. Although, we did not end up renting here I will definitely recommend this storage facility to family and friends.

We booked for the storage rental online and got an appointment for the date we like to move in. Whenwe arrived there Gretchen and Debbie gave a excellent service with their extremely kind attandance, helpful and smiling faces. We rented the storage easily and moved in same day. Very satisfied.

I was so surprised, Tony called me right after I reserved a unit. He made sure everything is alright. Wow! When we arrived the storage, we were not sure which size of unit would be good for us. He spent a considerable time for us to show units, and helped us make better decision. The facility was so clean too. Great price, simple move in, clean & safe facility. Tony and his staff are all very helpful and courteous. I 100% recommend this facility. That being said, I do have one suggestion for the corporate office: Get rid of the administrative and proprietary lock fees. These fees don't provide any value and are more likely to leave a bad taste for customers awarding your company their business for months to come. Most importantly though, I want this review to highlight that Tony and his staff are professionals and provide excellent service.

These are the cleanest, well maintained, and secure storage units I've ever used. Tony is awesome! he identified the exact size unit that I needed and found me one close to the elevator. I can't recommend this Public Storage enough. Go anywhere else, and you'll regret it.

Tony was great he helped a lot in figuring size storage I needed and helped save money at same time, I didn't go five because sometimes not enough carts there when unloading. But overall its clean simple and employees are nice!

although, I already had 1 unit; due to an emergency, I needed to immediately rent another unit. Tony was able to get me a unit 2 spaces down, which made it so much easier for accessibility. Because these are outdoor units, Tony ensures that leaves and other debris is always cleared away from the entrance of the doors, to keep the trash from entering my unit. Tony is always accessible and in tune with whatever issue or concern that I might have, making my unfortunate circumstance easier to manage.

We needed storage in a pinch. This location was nearby and they had a special for 6 months. Tony was very helpful and articulate. I would uses this place again.

Have used Public Storage off and on for a couple years now. I wish I found this one before I stored at my last Public Storage. Cleanest storage building I have ever used and Tony made it so easy when I went in to get my space. Would be 5 stars if they had more flatbeds to use. This place is pretty good as far as storage goes.

Tony & Patrick both were very responsive to a problem with a lock on my storage unit. It appeared that someone tried to drill out my lock and jammed it so as I couldn't open it. Patrick tried everything he could within his responsibilities to fix the lock but was unable to so he gave me an additional lock to secure it until maintenance could replace the hasp. Tony called me when the repair man arrived and waited until I got on location and supervised the repair of the lock and made sure it was done correctly. He apologized for the company maintenance taking so long to get around to replacing and repairing the lock on my unit. Everyone I've had dealings with at this Public Storage Location has been very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about their facility and service. Thank you all.

I give this location only four stars only because I find it hard to love anything (other than a good woman or concert) that cost you money. That aside, I find this location clean, price competitive and well ran with the best of customer service from an outstanding and helpful clerk name Tony. Yes, I would recommend it.

Don't Rent Here! The place looks nice, and the desk staff is friendly. But --the lights have burned out --all four fluorescent bulbs-outside my unit, making the unit too dark. The unit is basically not useable now. It is really, really dark! I have been in 3 times over the last two months asking about the lighting. Yes, it is on some list dating from the beginning of October but the answer I get is management is not buying any light bulbs. Also this place raises your rent frequently! You would think long time renters might get a break but they raise the rent a lot.

Tony was nice and helpful. He was on point and made sure we understood our contract.

Employees (Tony and Patrick) were very friendly and even funny. Storage unit was clean. Fair price. Only issue I had were the hours, I wish they were open after 9 pm which I wouldn't have mind under other circumstances but in this case their hours were a bit incontinent. Overall though, I recommend this place and I would go back.

To date, I have used this Public Storage location (property 25522) for three years and have had no negative experiences with security, lighting, cleanliness, availability of the facility/unit or customer service. Recently I had the opportunity to downsize to a smaller unit and chose to remain at this same facility. I must bring to light customer service rep Tony. I could not have been more pleased with his attentiveness to my needs and his genuine desire to work with me in arranging a unit location that more than met my expectations and desires. If I owned this facility, I could earnestly state I would be more than pleased to have Tony as one of my employee's. As long as I have a need for a storage facility, this location would be my preferred choice.

I really give them zero stars. I rented a 10x30 indoor locker from them in March 2014 for $327/mo. Kimberlee, the property manager told me that renter's insurance was mandatory and the minimum cost was $9.00/mo. I fell for that one for two months and realized that she lied. Insurance is not mandatory. I cancelled it. They raised our rent in July 2014, after only four months to $409, an insane 25% increase. Our lease states that they need to alert us to rent increase with 30-days advanced notice in writing. The Public Storage agent told me they sent a postcard notifying us of a rent increase. However, they notify me by email that my bill is due, but they send a postcard for a rent increase. Again, liars! We moved out of there today (Sep 29) before those blood-suckers could rip us off for another $409. Is the rent increase due to an increase in the cost of doing business? No. Today, that 10x30 locker is back on the market for $359 online, or $388 in store. Shortly after you rent it, you'll get socked in the shorts too! We rented two lockers from Public Storage (Canada), each for 2 years, and never got a rent increase. And each locker had its own alarm. I can understand why one person complained of a break-in. This one in Orange, CA is not very secure.

I have used storage units in the past but this was a different experience. The units are indoors and clean. What a great experience from the time Tony greeted me at the door until he walked me to the door after the paperwork was completed. Tony took me to the unit size that I thought that I needed. He wanted to make sure that I chose the right size. He took the time to show me how to lock and unlock and open and close the unit. He also showed me the keypad for the elevator and made sure I understood how to use it. Tony went over the paperwork with me and made sure I understood what I was signing. I think Tony is a wonderful representative for Public Storage

I've rented here for 7 years. I've never had any problems. Tony keeps it very clean and he's always been kind and customer-service oriented.

This public storage is awesome, running by very good management!!! The facility is super clean, location is good and it even provides shaded parking right in front of the elevator lobby so it's very convenient!! Tony, the manager has offered great help to us to choose from the deals that best fit our needs, we were already very impressed by his professionalism and enthusiasm. in July we were thinking of moving out in order to save $$, because we had a big unit, Tony helped us to downsize it and we eventually we did save quite a lot, he was still very happy to assist, never ever gave us any hard time that other places might do. Although we are moving out today since we just moved into a bigger house, he Tony is still being so nice and helped out a lot. Thanks to you Tony, you deserve the best praise!!

This is the first time I have used a storage unit. I went to other facilities and decided this location was the best, and much cleaner than the other facilities I had looked at. I appreciate Tony and how professional and helpful he was the first day I was there, and on other occasions also. All of the staff I have been in contact with have been helpful also. The facility is very clean.

The facility is in a great location and the premises are very clean. The rates are good and the place is quite safe. Tony the manager is helpful and quite conversational. He points out any details that need to be known. Also, the accessibility of the entire facility, inside and out, is very convenient. All in all, a good place to keep your things and no hassles involved!

I have purchased boxes and supplies from this PS location for years and have always had excellent service and help from the staff. Just recently I was in need of storage space and while purchasing more supplies I asked Tony if there was any small units available. Tony was very kind, knowledgeable and checked the inventory. Tony showed me the unit and explained everything. The facility is clean, convenient, secure and well-lit. I decided quickly to rent the unit and Tony explained the agreement and all the legalize. I highly recommend this PS location and commend Tony and the rest of the staff for their excellent service.

I had a storage unit for not even a year, they raised the rates and it was broken into. When I went to go see it and speak to the police, it was pried open and the cheap latch was bent inward. I spoke to the manager and said something along the lines of "good thing you have cameras everywhere" and she said they don't in the staircase and on the separate floors themselves....

This storage facility is lovely. Clean, convenient and Tony, the manager is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Feel very good that items are secured (I hope). Would not hesitate to rent storage here again.

I must say it was a pleasure to come to this location when needing a storage unit. The facility is clean and well maintained. Easy access to come in/out with my truck. The most important factor was the service. The level of service Kim and Rene provide is no short of being Top Tier. They made the entire process easy, fast, and stress free. If service like this was available at every business, I probably would smile more often.

I have had a storage room at the Public Storage on N. Main in Orange for years!!!! I probably have had almost every size they offer, which is a LOT!! I finally whittled mine and my 5 children's belongs down to fit in the smallest storage last year and last week I emptied it!!! YEAH!!!! My baby got married in 2012!! I was always amazed at how clean every hall was. It was comfortable on all levels, never hot and stuffy. I knew my precious belongings were safe in every way possible. I never once saw any kind of a bug or rodent!! Unlike when I rented at outside storages where I suffered damage to belongings from mice getting to them!! YUCK!!! Kim and Rene in the office were so nice and helpful when ever I had a question. Even the other renters were considerate, helping to load something, giving you a turn with the dolly, etc. Thanks PS-Orange!! I'll be back IF I need storage again!!

Kim was so helpful!! After asking a few questions to determine what would work best for me, she shared with me a couple of options. The move was so easy because they had a deal on boxes, tape and packing material. The first month was not free but the pricing is very reasonable and the staff was really nice. Both Rene and Kim were awesome and then Heather gave me a follow up call, just to make sure everything went okay with the move. They really made a very stressful time in my life a lot better!

This is a great place to store your stuff! Kim, Lora and Renee are friendly and professional. The showroom is very clean and they've created artful displays of the boxes and packing supplies they sell - a very nice touch. Our storage unit was very clean when we moved in, my gate code always works, I haven't had any issues or even many questions but they are always helpful. I give them 5 stars!

I had such a bad experience with this facility. The management and staff do not care about their customers in my opinion. I was recommended to purchase a 10x10 unit for my items by the sales associate. I asked the sales women if I can get a bigger unit if my items don't fit when I more in. She said, yes! What she failed to tell me is that I would not receive the promotional discount of $1 for the first month if I end up requiring a bigger unit plus I would not receive a refund or credit for the unit I already purchased. So, basically I had to pay for a unit I did not use and purchase an additional unit so my items could fit at full market value (no discounts or promotions). When I spoke with the management about the situation, she was defensive and argumentative. She did not let me speak and blatantly did not care. She pretty much told me it was my fault for purchasing the wrong size. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. This facility does not know how to treat their customers nor do they have the qualifications/education to recommend the appropriate size unit for you items. The elevator is also difficult to use. I really feel wronged by this facility!!!!
