This place has raised the unit's rent almost $50. The manager couldn't do anything when my husband called. I was told we would have to move our stuff out to a different unit to get the cheaper price. We can't do that since we aren't in the state right now (that's why we have a storage unit). When my husband talked to the corporate office they wouldn't even discuss this with him and they said that they have the right to up the rent every three months. So watch out! If you plan to rent from this place long term it's not going to be pretty for your wallet. We are very disappointed with them!

Renting a new unit and getting access is super easy. Great customer service when we moved out. Our 26' moving truck would have a hard time getting back to the main gate to exit because the paths are pretty narrow in spots. But it would be a straight shot through a side gate. Wanted to ask to use the side gate but no one was in the office. Called the main number and they contacted the unit manager who was covering another location. He was nice enough to drive over to open the side gate for us. Will rent here again.

I compared prices and reviews from multiple storage units in this area. I am so so so glad we went here. Kyle is AMAZING. He answered all of my questions on the phone, had amazing customer service, and he really goes beyond. After I left, he checked our unit and saw that I locked the storage unit incorrectly. He met us at the unit and helped me fix it. Again, can't say enough, nicest guy, great customer service.

I have been a customer here for almost a year and today called very worried because I can’t locate my keys to my storage unit. He then said it is a complimentary service to cut the lock and I can bring a new one or buy one from them . We have used this storage location for approx 2 years. We have had the best experience from start to finish. They are extremely accommodating - from signing the initial paperwork to assisting when I lost my key -all the way to our move out. Kyle is the site manager and without a doubt the best asset an employer could have. He answers the phone and if unavailable he always calls back! He is the reason we would come back to this location. Little did I know, I was storing $500 worth of STUFF for well over 10 months due to covid and relocating etc Kyle went above and beyond to assist with my move-out along side of comping a few months of fees due to my situation while every other corporate company out there seems to be doing the exact opposite.

Great customer service. Kat, couldn't have been more helpful in completing the rental process. facility is clean and prices beat the competition. April 9, 2021 After 15 months things have changed! The facility is good and the employees great. Corporate policy is bad. Rented the unit Jan 2020 @ $60/mo. Rate increased Aug. 2020 to $67/mo or 11% increase. Rate increases to $88/mo May 2021 or 46% in 15 months. To do this says a lot about the company even in normal times. During the current health crisis, economic downturn, loss of jobs, etc. it makes Public Storage look like Scrooge on steroids. Take your business and your money elsewhere.

This storage has a rude owner named Kyle. Use this place at your own risk. They have Rats and Bugs. The "mandatory" insurance excluded rodents and is only policy there has certain conditions listed on the policy. The site will absolutely do nothing for you if your property is destroyed due to their infestations

I have NO idea how this place has such good reviews. All I can think of is that they are fake reviews written by the employees themselves! This place is dirty and leaves were always in my unit. Employees are lazy and the upsell attempt is ridiculous. Beware of these fake good reviews! Corporate should really monitor this Fraud.

This storage place is great. Relocated from the east coast and they helped us find a storage unit big enough to fit our house while we relocated to Southern California. Highly recommend using this facility. Clean, well protected & in a convenient area. The manager even checked on us to make sure we were ok and to made she had an appropriate lock.

It’s rare you come across an employee who exemplifies “Good Customer Experience”. But I did today, and at a self storage facility. Kyle helped when my nerves were almost shot. I forgot my reservation information, and actually ended up in the wrong place. “No problem” said Kyle. He then let me know what he could offer to fit my requirements (Ground Floor, Drive Up storage). I think I may have paid more than the reservation elsewhere, but I don’t care. The facilities are clean, he was more than helpful and the most polite person I’ve met in months. He also practiced appropriate social distancing. Would I rent from him again? You bet!

This is by far the most wonderful public storage I have ever been too/used. The staff is of a higher echelon than many others that I’ve been too. They are absolutely some of the kindest people I have ever met. They really truly care about the customer and the customer needs and wants here. The cleanliness is top tier and you can clearly see the time and effort that the staff puts into making the place shine and spotless. The safety aspect of this is out of this world, I have never felt more comfortable with leaving my belongings somewhere. If I could rate this public storage a 10 out of 5 I would. Beware of bait and switch tactics. In May 2020, I reserved a 10x12 unit one month in advance for $212, first month $1. They called me several times to ensure I would be there on my appointment date (June 13). When I showed up, there were no such units available - a reservation means nothing. I could rent a smaller unit for the same price or a much larger unit for $400+

Due to Covid-19 it had let me to move out of my apartment until I get back on my feet. I was called by Kyle after I had made Reservations for Monday at Noon. He answered my questions and concerns with comfort. Jonathan is the representative that had walked me through the facility and my unit during my reservation check-in. He knew his Product knowledge of boxes for my belongings so I could make my big move on the following Saturday go according to plan. This is probably the only good experience so far in my Covid-19 setback. The fact Johnathan & Kyle made sure something went well in this pandemic. Thanks you guys!

I've rented a storage unit from this location twice now. Kyle who's helped me numerous times has been an absolute delight to work with. Always follows up with me and assists me when corporate unfortunately wouldn't. Still having trouble being able to make my payment online. Corporate has NOT been helpful at all! I had to pay over the phone twice, which they charge for because their site would not work on multiple computers I tried logging onto (not operator error). Kyle stepped up after he let me vent to him and got corporate to reimburse me the fee I paid over the phone. Kyle is the BEST. As for corporate Regional Manager has yet to even email or call me back and it's almost time for rent again. The team at the location is more than helpful. I would recommend them any day. Special "Thank you" to Kyle.

I found Public Storage on Google and saw they offered a $1 first month promo if I inquired online, so I set up my account on their website and shortly after I received a call from Kyle, the manager. He was super friendly, and made my space rental very easy and quick. Great service, clean facility, good prices, month to month contract, leaves me feeling happy :) Definitely recommend.

Storing has been a part of my life for the past 10 years. After leaving my old place because of bad customer service, I found this location. Kyle was super helpful in getting me into a space that fit all my goods, and showed me how to store my goods properly. He has a respectful, professional, and kind attitude. I wasn't expecting such great staff, but this is like night and day compared to other storage facilities. Couldn't be happier to with public storage.

Great experience at this Public Storage. Came in with a reservation for a unit and was welcomed by Kyle right as the office opened. The unit that we received had been vacant for a few days, and we got a great deal, saving us hundreds of dollars. Kyle showed us the unit and made sure any and all questions were answered. We just moved out of our 5x10 unit that we rented since December and Kyle was SO helpful as it was just my daughter and I moving everything out ourselves, and having rented a 16 foot Penske truck, which I have never driven one before, I was a bit nervous and worried that we would have a difficult time. Kyle let us borrow a hand truck to move our boxes and when we got stuck maneuvering the couch through the doorway, he assisted us with that. He also directed me as I was trying to maneuver the Penske truck around the corner to exit. It really made our day! Thank you Kyle for the great customer service! Didn't know where to store my goods, came to this facility. Was greeted with a smile by Kyle, all my questions were answered. Kat the manager at the Laguna Hills Public Storage on El Pacifico made my storage nightmare into a dream come true! Her fast and friendly attitude, along with some great suggestions on how to manage my storage made the chore of getting a storage unit easy. She helped me pick out the right size unit for my needs and explained how to size up if I needed to and how to save money doing it! Kat gave me a great deal with my first month for only $1! I was signed up got my key, my code, a lock, and I was outta there! I'd recommend this location to anyone needing storage. It has easy freeway and surface street access in a safe area. Budget rental is right there,they've got boxes, packing supplies, and the bathroom is clean and easily accessible.This facility is tidy and well kept. Being partially disabled myself I like the fact that this location, as far as I could tell, is all one story... no stairs or elevators. I thought storing my extra office stuff was going to be too expensive but thanks to Kat and public Storage I'll actually save money by having my supplies readily available and can buy my supplies in bulk. Worst service ever. Managers and employees are incompetent, our unit was broken into multiple times. Nothing was done , constantly see tweakers creeping around the complex at night. A lot of theft goes on here and literally nothing is done about it. The gate has been completely broken and off the rack making it impossible to get inside.

Clean, quiet, and much cooler on hot days than I was expecting it to be. Would absolutely come back here again.

Just finished renting a 5x10 space and it was a great experience. Office staff is very nice and professional. Facilities are clean and felt like my stuff was safe. Would return if I needed stuff stored again at a fair price.

Kyle was the person who handled the whole process and I can’t be happier with his exceptional service. He went way above and beyond and offered more options than we needed while remaining helpful and courteous until we were all set and in position of our storage unit. My husband and I both handled signing up for a 10x10 at the El Pacifico Dr., Laguna Hills location. From some of the reviews we were a little concerned dealing with Miguel, but we found him straightforward, business like, and helpful. I went in to finish the contract and buy the locks. He had already shown my husband the unit but was helpful in showing it to me also. Miguel was thorough and explained everything I was signing and answered any questions I had. We will be moving our stuff shortly and I assume we will not have any trouble. The facility is older but is clean and a good price.

Jazz was a gem today and made my experience so enjoyable. I have had a few units with Public Storage in the past always taking advantage of the rates, but today was the fastest I’ve been in and out ever! I felt like all of my needs were met and I would recommend this storage to anyone looking. Thank you Jazz!

Miguel was extremely helpful to me when I rented a storage unit yesterday. He explained how the movers could easily unload the furniture, and how I could access it. He also gave me pointers on how to safeguard my keys when the movers unload. He explained thoroughly the hours of access and the best way to access my storage area.

So, last Saturday I rented a storage unit for my upcoming move. Then, 12 hours later while I was slumbering quietly, the facility suffered a horrible fire. No, I did not take this as a bad omen on my future plans, it was simply bad. Not for me, my concerns are with those who lost possessions. It's not something I wish on anyone. Needless to say, I needed a new unit. And Miguel was there to help! Kind and courteous, he walked me through the same steps from last week and I'm all set up. I know that corporate has their hands full in this rare instance, I'm sure the nerves are being tested by some, yet I've experienced some of the best customer service. This is how you run a company. Thank you for making sure all my issues will be covered.

Ashley and Juan have been a great help since day one, and the storage unit is a good size at a great price. The customer service here cant be beat and their prices are great.

The lady is very nice that works here....the man on the other hand, is horrible. He was unable to breakdown my payment and told me he did not need to prove me what I owed. No main office to complain.

Move-in and Move-in were very easy and straight forward using their online system. Their online payment system is also easy. The area is safe and there is a decent amount of space for trucks (but not a huge amount of space). The walls and doors of the storage units are not completely sealed between units and to parts of the outside so be aware that bugs can get in so don't have anything that might attract them.

Jude is an awesome guy and great help, unlike any other storage place, he makes you feel welcomed and speaks to you like a person should. Ive had my best experience here. Other places are like zombies without should who hate their job. Recommend coming here. - Antonio p.s. using my works account to give credit. i never do this

The staff was nice and very helpful. I was only upset by the insurance requirement that was NEVER stated until I signed up to rent the unit. Disclosure, disclosure, disclosure! I have reviewed this with my insurance company and can get it much cheaper through them but I was never given that chance because I did not know until it was too late!

updated review: I was excited to move in at an introductory rate of half off. My unit's door wasn't wide enough, so they upgraded me to a bigger unit, with a bigger price tag. I went from 60 bucks a month to 230. Literally overnight. They didn't honor my half off price either. I asked the manager to look at my price and call me. She said 3 different times she would talk to her boss and call me. No call, and the gentleman that works the front desk is not helpful, and not nice. Getting my stuff out of here asap. Don't waste your time or money.

I came in to transfer into a smaller storage space. Mark was extremely courteous and patient in trying to find me the right location. I visit my unit frequently and he made sure my new unit was close the my old one. I was outside moving stuff from my 10by20 space into my new 10by5, he saw I was working and sweating like a dog. So he came out and brought me a bottle of water!! When I asked him for a second one he said he didn't have anymore that he had brought the one he had given me from home!!!! He said I could refill it in the office of need be. The location is old but the customer service here is top notch!!! Highly recommend it.

Nice storage facility. All the storage spaces are outside which make it easy to move stuff around. Mark and Jessica are very friendly in the office. Overall 5 star rating.

Got set up very quickly by "A" Quang, a really nice employee. I had ordered one of the smallest units but A sensed I might need more space. He immediately showed me the unit I had ordered and then showed me another unit that had higher ceilings and would definitely fit more stuff. The difference in price was around $10/mo or so but definitely worth it. Had A not showed me that other unit, we would have been up a creek on move day. Very happy with the location and service. *** PT II: We just cleared out our storage space because we finally had space in our garage. The move out and customer service was as smooth as the move in. At one point, I couldn't get our 16 foot truck around a turn. Aaron, the property manager (I think), came out, helped show me best way to get out of the squeeze, then guided me all the way through the nearest exit. Just really friendly, quality staff. Good experience from move in to move out.

This is my first time lease storage. Location manager, Aaron, was great and VERY helpful to clearly explain all questions I had. He showed me all different size storage on different area and gave me advice how to arrange my stuff. I felt very comfortable making my storage choice at this location. Aaron made the process very easy and smoothly.

We were first time storage unit-users when we got our space last week and both Aaron and Abdullah were very helpful in answering all our questions and explaining the process. We got a very good deal for the unit because we booked it online before going in, so I definitely recommend doing that if possible. The actual storage space was clean and easy to access. Just got our storage unit today, it was super easy and cheaper than the units we have rented in the past. E quang (who i believe is one of the property managers) is very nice helpful and knowledgeable, also great at multi tasking (not only was he helping me he was helping other customers promptly as well). The units are very secured but easy for customers to access, sometimes it just good old fashioned customer service that makes the consumer happy (its hard to find these days). If you are looking for a unit -go here they have great deals and find a storage that fits YOUR storage needs not overcharging you for an oversized unit.

I've always heard that renting storage space can be a daunting task! I did my du-diligence and found the best reviews and great price at this location. They are the only one that has long hours (6a-9p) and open 7 days a week. Aaron, the manager was so helpful in explaining the do's and don'ts and showing me around the place, I feel my things will be safe here and you can't beat the price. I'd highly recommend, in your research, to stop by and talk with Aaron, he's very knowledgeable.
