If I could, I’d give 10 stars. I had a storage unit here for several months and I am more than pleased with the management. Ambrosia, specifically, is always pleasant, attentive to the property and completely fulfilling of her responsibilities as manager. I’ve only seen and been treated with professionalism in all aspects, the upkeep on the property is excellent and quite importantly, Ambrosia also provides the feeling of a safe and clean environment of a storage facility, that’s monitored, taken care of and taken seriously to where people feel comfortable having their belongings there. Whoever interviewed and hired her, made the absolute right call, but all the credit goes Ambrosia.

Ambrosia was very knowledgeable about my needs and courteous answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Service was Amazing!

Ambrosio helped me get into a unit quickly. I was in a rush and needed a space and he helped me get the right space. The property is clean and security is tight. The app makes it easy for me to open the gates and make payments.

Ambrosio just saved a customer. I was going to pull my stuff out of a 10 X 15 due to rising rates but Ambrosio showed me multiple units that would work more in my price range and with easy move options.

I made a huge mistake renting a storage unit at this place :( I just moved in my things into this storage unit and was told by a Ambroisio that I was NOT allowed to organize in my storage unit. I had to take them home organize them there and then I could bring them back. He also told me that I was in violation of my lease because I was organizing in my storage unit while sitting in a chair. I read the lease, and no where does it say that I am not allowed to organize things in my storage unit, so I can find them when I need them. I have a medical condition which I must sit as I can become very dizzy when I stand too long. I just moved in on 3/20/23 and I am moving out on 3/25/23. I will not put up with bad management, or adding rules as we are going along here. My advice to the manager is to read the lease yourself, as I do not think you even know what it says.

We have been looking for a new storage facility for awhile now and today we finally decided to move to a new facility. Layla was great. A few minutes after I arrived another customer came in to rent a unit. He seemed to want to jump in front of me but Layla kept her cool and let him know she would show me a unit first since I arrived first then she would show him a unit. He didn’t seem happy about her decision to go with who came first, but she was very professional about it. Thank you Layla!

Do not rent from this public storage they will,00 rip you off and steal your stuff. I made the mistake of renting ba unit there and my stuff got stolen from the storage. They broke into the storage and stole my stuff. Don't Rent From Public Storage. Watch out for the manager she is scandalous , they owe us $15,000, for the replacement of dj equipment and CDs and kitchen appliances, . Don't Rent From Public Storage. They are not a good place to rent from..

I arrived on the move-in date and the unit was different than advertised. I had noticed the email I got, after signing up, said stairs and I called and left a message for them to get clarification since what I clicked on did not say stairs. They never called me back. So, I arrive today and go with the worker to the unit. It’s a walk up, which I have never seen at public storage and is a definite deal breaker. I was with the worker, we never went up to the storage space. They said they will not move me to another unit nor refund me for the never move in or the lock (that I never needed or even less saw). My bank will refund it, of course. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.

Very expensive. My unit is 10x20 which started at $375 a month then second month went to $425 and now 6 months later with only a 1 month notice they increased everyone's rent by 30% so I am now paying over $500 a month.

John was amazing! We had to move stuff out because our home was being fumigated. I had problems with my access code and was in a hurry. JOHN was able to help me and made me a new code quickly. The experience was a lot better thanks to him and he was also very friendly. Thank you John!

We moved one of our clients out from this storage today and have been here multiple times before. Every time we come we have no complaints or issues accessing the facility and our unit. The place is well maintained, clean, and the staff is always around and helpful. John, the manager, had to help me with cutting the lock off for our client and did that for us with no problem. He informed me what form to give to our client when they were out of town and they needed to authorize for John to cut their lock. John communicated well with me and them to get this taken care of. Thank you John and all the staff.

Although I wish there was more access to units beyond office hours, I wanted to leave a review about the wonderful service John provided. While loading some items, a glass container with buttons in it fell and broke. John was so quick to offer to help with the clean up and even took the time to help me save some of the buttons. He was an absolute delight to work with and I value the time and service he provided during my visit.

John was a tremendous help yesterday in moving out of our unit. He was quick to offer a cart and helped us clean up a mess we made. Thanks, John!

Closed on New Years Day with NO GATE ACCESS. I understand not having someone in the office, but what is the point of locking all of the gates and not allowing anyone in to have access to their units?? Causing us to pay more money to rent a truck for another 24 hours simply because they turned off access through the gate?? Makes no sense and is extremely inconvenient and off-putting, terrible first impression.

I was fortunate enough to speak with Al over the phone, nothing but courteous and professional. When I showed up the next day, he took the time to show me the entire facility and took me through the ins and outs of the entire rental process. I have been renting at another facility for more than 10 years, I have never been treated this good. The facility is clean and secure. The rental rates are fair and office staff really understands customer service.

Would give give zero if possible. We had reserved a unit on the website a week prior. When we arrive with a Uhaul and ready to unload, come to find out that they had already given the unit to someone else. We're frustrated but the manger, Kristie, says we can get a bigger unit at the same price as the one we were suppose to have gotten. We agree upon a rate and sign to get the unit. We walk away happy and satisfied that they fixed this inconvenience. Come to find out that they have been charging us double what had been agreed upon. We call, Kristie, the manger; says she tried calling corporate, but they can't do anything. We try calling corporate no response. It's been almost four months now and Kristie and her team can't "do anything on their end." extremely unprofessional, very disappointing, and overall a poor reflection of how they treat their customers, especially when trying to "make things right," but just ends up being 2x's worse than before. Would not recommend.

We came across the Riverbend Location (08021) and found it convenient for us. Then, at the Manager's office, Kristie and Alexis were both really helpful to find the "right" unit for us on the property. It took a couple of tries to find the unit and we thank both Kristie and Alexis for their help. Friendly & helpful service makes convenience work in this search for the "right" unit.

My storage got broken into not even a year after I posted this. Not a call from management, nothing. I found out when I went to get something out of storage and found out that if it wasn’t stolen, it was broken and not even an, I’m so sorry or anything from management. Turns out almost everyone around got broken into and management did absolutely nothing. Will never trust these people again. I took what remained of my now trash and never looked back. Worse place ever

It served it purpose while I needed that space. Other wise it can get pricey so I'd to give it up when they keep raising the price every six months or when they feel like it. So I took my stuff out n combine to my other storage else where. They don't prorated ur payment even though u are not staying the full month. They still took their full month rent which is a rip off n ridiculous. I'm done with public storage. 10 day cost me $144 buck which is my monthly payment.

Had over $10,000 of tools and military gear stolen from my unit. Watched me on camera move it in. Ransacked my unit after stealing the expensive stuff. The rest was ruined by mold including an electric piano keyboard. Unit was relocked. Security doors and elevators always open. Thousands of dollars wasted for them to get my stuff stolen and ruined. Use a more safe location. Bad area.

I just recently moved from Boston MA to the LA area. I found Self Storage on 8885 Riverbend Drive in Huntington Beach. Matthew who works there was extremely helpful. He patiently explain all my options and physically showed me a couple of units. I was done with all the paperwork in minutes. Thank you Matt!

So , we being there roughly 3 months and we got broken in along with other units, already?. I realized that this can happen as often as people dare too beacuse its fairly easy to break into. So, they 'll tried to pic at the lock if then don't succeed they will simply remove the locking system on the door. There are no cameras on the interior hallways so front desk can't tell if there is shady activity. So we are going to look into our previous storage that was a little farder, but never got broken into. Ownership should at least add cameras on the hallways, the monthly rent is not cheap... On a positive note kristie in front desk is nice and helpful.... But at this point we can't trust that our unit is secure....

I used this place 3 times. When changing apartments. Customer service is always good. They have the right size for my needs.

Researched online for storage options. This one was the closest one. Made a reservation online and within minutes of making the reservation, I received a phone call from the site manager to confirm my reservation and I received a follow up phone call the day before. Unfortunately, the day of we found out that the unit we were interested in was already rented out. Gabriel helped us find a similar unit for a good price. Overall the great customer service from both people who helped us (Site Manager and Gabriel) made it a good experience.

I was only renting for about 5 month in to my 10×10 storage and they decided to raise the rent $40. More. It smells and the door in very narrow and dark. Im out of there.

Was able to talk them down to a 12% raise, but that's still works out to a 29% annualized raise. Spoke to District Manager Dawn and she said the 20% raise was the new market rate.' Total rip off. Now I'm moving out ASAP. Get a multi-month lease if you can.

We have been with public storage for several years. Have recommended it to others. . However, we discovered recently that our unit had been broken into and things were taken as well as in shambles. We reported it to mgmt but it did not seem to phase them. We still had 7 days left and I asked if we would be refunded and they said no. We have been lucky till now, but I have heard of more break ins from others. Probably a good idea to check your storage unit from time to time as they do not , and there are no cameras in the facility only on the outside . Lesson learned

Every time I come to my storage unit the main door is locked. Most times I come these people are on their lunch and it's not even noon. Who takes lunch at 3pm??? I am not happy here, customer service sucks. No use calling because you'll get a machine to answer you. Only consider renting here if you don't plan to visit often and like to wait until they decide to show up.

I was in a pinch and needed a storage unit to hold off until I moved. I wanted something affordable but also where I thought my stuff would be safe. Nichelle helped me out and gave me a fair price, and made sure I was satisfied. She was polite, helpful and courteous, making sure all MyMy needs and wants were met at a fair price.

Customer service is just ok, but they're rarely in the office (been there 5 times this week at various times, and they were there only once). Been renting a 5x5 unit there for the past 10 years, and everything was fine until a couple years ago. Unit was broken into 3 times in the past year-and-a-half, most recently about $3K stolen out of it. Insurance is a joke; they refuse to pay out, even with proof of ownership of items stolen (note you also need proof it was stored in the unit). Also, expect the price to go up about $30 every year. Started out at $65/month, now $160. Last year i was paying $120. Don't go here, take your stuff somewhere else! TL;DR Come here if you want your stuff stolen, you like lack of security, don't want to talk to anyone there, and like paying too much after the first year.

I recently moved to this storage place from the other one down on Gothard. Because the manager had 0 knowledge in what customer service is. She was rude and didn't care of customers requests. I came to my unit earlier this week and today . It was very disappointing to see that girl over here. Marian i believe is her name. on Tuesday when i came in noticed the place was filthy. the dumpster was overflowing and there seemed to be trash everywhere, earlier this month i sent out my daughter to make my payment and she told me the manager told her, to just slide the check on the door because she had just clocked out for lunch and her boyfriend was waiting for her, This was all around 11 o clock in the morning, thanks to her i received a late fee on the other place. is the second time i come here and shes in the office with the same man This is obviously a much bigger place than the other place, i cant believe she is here now. She could not manage the small place there and by the aspect of this place since she is here neither will this one. Seriously thinking of moving out again

MEASURE YOUR SPACE BEFORE YOU MOVE IN. Our 10'x10' space turned out to be 8'x10'. 20% less sq footage. We asked to have our price reduced 20% to match the actual sq footage vs. advertised and they refused. We had already moved half of our apartment in otherwise we would have left. Extremely dissatisfied.

I would like to thank Veronica and the rest of the staff at Public Storage for their time and great customer service today while I was there. I highly recommend this place for those that are looking to rent a storage.

Not only did I have a unit broken into but as a result of the break-in they limited the hours of access to when the office is open. 9:30~4:30 instead of 6am~9pm. One might think that's what angered me with Public Storage but that wasn't the worst of it. They called me to collect this months rent which was due just after the break-in. I politely asked for a credit for the month of limited access and as a good will gesture for the break-in troubles. She said she had to contact her manager. She called me back and said manager approved. A week later I get a call telling me I still owe the months rent, they don't plan on providing the credit they promised. They said they restored my access to normal 6~9 access but that my code is blocked for not paying the rent. talk about making a bad situation worse they have completely failed it customer service. I'll update my review Once the entire situation has been resolved.

Alex was the name of the employee that helped me get settled into public storage. I work for a moving company and we often get units to store peoples belongings, and have rented more storages than anybody else that I know. Alex was without a doubt one of the best salespersons and customer service employees I've ever come across. He had me laughing and talking to him as if he was a friends that I had known for some time . P personally walked with me to the storage unit I was renting and showed Levy inside and locking procedures in the area surrounding it,. When we got back to the office to do the paperwork end of the rental I stated that I was in a hurry and needed this to be quick. Quickly got everything set up got all my info explained when my payments are due and got me out of there in less than 10 minutes. Knowing that I am going to be able to deal with such a great employee if I have any issues whatsoever is a huge relief. Aside from the amazing a ploy the property itself is very well kept up its clean there's not a lot of people hanging around on the inside like a lot of storage units and it's well lit at night. They have individual gate codes so people can't come in-and-out unless they actually rent a unit there and they have on site property manager which I can tell you from experience is very useful. There is no getting on or off the property without going by the property managers window. The hours here much more reasonable than a lot of storage units their open from 6:30 a.m. To 9:00 p.m. which is awesome because that gives me lots of time after work to do what I have to do at the unit. This storage also happens to be located less than a 10th of a mile from my house so between Alex the amazing employee, the property being well kept and having lots of features that make me feel comfortable renting there, and it being just a stone throw away from my actual house, makes this pretty much one of the better storage units I've rented out of 15 or more different places. I highly suggest it if you're looking for a storage unit You take a look here. Thanks again Alex for going above and beyond

I was completely lied to!! They say 1 dollar for the first 30 days and I was there for 28 and they charged me. when i got the notice payment is due every 1st of the month I ask the front office and they said I was good to the 4th since I rented it on the 4th. went to check out and they said I was wrong and were rude about it! They lie just to get a customer!

It is a storage facility... Clean for the most part. Most storage is ground level but in the back some lockers are on the 2nd floor...

The size is not the size.. and they don't care they advertise for 10x20. But you only get 8x18. How is that right? They closed my unit 5 days before I vacated so they took my money for extra 5 days and rented it again.. this place sucks and not honest.. It's not clean and people are rude. There's better places this one sucks ass to be really honest..

It was my first time renting a storage unit and Brittney did a great job of explaining what my options were, the various prices etc and helping select the correct unit for my needs. She went well above what one would consider good service.....

No stars. This place is a scam. I reserved a 5x5 unit on their website around 10:00 am Saturday. Price was $47/mo with first month 50% off. Conveniently they have "processing fee" that just happens to be within a dollar of 50% of the price, so net cost for first month is same as every month = no savings. I received a phone call from Public Storage about 30 min after making the reservation, they confirmed the reservation and set up an appointment for me to come in and get access code and get the unit. Loaded up the truck at the appointed time and showed up at Public Storage. First they tried to up-sell me on a larger unit by running through a list of questions. I explained that I was perfectly fine with the unit I reserved. They then informed me that my reserved unit was no longer available but they could put me in another one.....but surprise surprise ! It was more money! I said, no, I had a reserved unit with a pre-arranged price and that is what I want. If you want to put me in a comparable size unit or larger, that's fine, but I want you to honor the price. Brittany the manager said they couldn't, "company policy". So here I am, a truck full of stuff, and no storage unit. Brittany says it was a "pre-reservation" whatever that is. I said their website said it was held and reserved, I had a reservation number from them, AND they called me to confirm the reservation! WHAT A SCAM!!! Totally dishonest business. DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. I left and found a more reputable business.
