Walked in expecting “storage unit vibes” and got VIP concierge energy instead. The man is somehow both super professional and genuinely friendly at the same time, like he trained at a luxury hotel but chose storage units for fun.
He explained everything so clearly. No pressure, no confusion, no “let me transfer you to someone else” nonsense. Just straight up efficiency with a smile.

I arrived around 5:20 PM after a two and a half hour drive, feeling quite stressed about making it before the 6 PM closing. Jonathan was already assisting another customer when I walked in, so I fully expected to be rushed. Instead, he was incredibly patient and didn’t rush either of us. He stayed past closing to walk me through the facility and ensure I was completely set up with my codes and U-Haul. I really appreciated his professionalism and the fact that he didn't let the clock dictate the quality of his service. It made a stressful moving day much easier.
This place is awesome, it’s super clean and well lit. The staff make it so easy both for moving in and for moving out, believe it or not. They’re always super helpful. They have utility carts to help you move your stuff but sometimes they are hard to find, this isn’t the fault of the staff tho, that’s just knucklehead customers who lock up the carts inside their units. I’ve rented three different units at this location now and will rent here again if I ever need it.

Just finished up a two year run with Public Storage in Eastlake. I can’t say enough about the customer service I experienced. The place is spotless and incredibly secure. Codes needed for doors, gates and elevator. Courtesy floor dollies everywhere and quick response from staff and manager. In particular property manager David and district manager Robert were exceptional and went above and beyond. To ensure my stay was secure, convenient and a great experience overall. Have been with ExtraSpace and other national storage facilities and they just don’t compare. David was always available for any issues even while away at lunch or patrolling the property and Robert was fantastic helping out during his busy schedule anytime it was requested. Well done Public Storage. I rarely leave reviews, especially positive ones. But this was well deserved. Moving can be very exhausting and overwhelming. Thank you to both Robert and David for easing the pain. I will definitely be back and have already referred over 10 people as I work at the nearby RV resort. Nobody needs self storage more than RV’ers. Oh and they beat all the prices of nearby competitors and even made every effort to match or beat any price. Their social media app is also a dream to work with.

I am extremely satisfied with this particular Public Storage rental facility! It is an indoor fully secure/gated property located in East Lake part of Chula Vista. And has a free download able app in which you can access opening/closing gate conveniently without exiting your car. The staff at this location are very professional and extremely helpful. I rented a storage unit from the Chula Vista location on Fenton and the service there was great. Joe, was very helpful, he answered all my questions, and concerns. He made some suggestions and showed me three units. The place was clean and it felt very safe. I was very happy with the service and I would suggest it to everyone.

Not the type to typically leave reviews but with the customer service I was extended I felt compelled to.
My wife and I came in looking for a storage unit as were transitioning into a new home and we were greeted by two smiling and helpful employees (Amaya and Sheena). They did a good job explaining the rental process and were efficient in getting us a unit that best met our needs.
Facility was very clean and organize which was the main reason we decided to keep our belongings there.
