Amy did a wonderful job persevering with our technical issues.My husband and I were stressed but Amy calmy explained and called for help.Amy said it was her second day but you would never have known .Amy was so professional. Eventhough we may have driven her crazy with our stress,she was not affected at all.Amy remained calm through it all.The unit was easy to find and very clean. Great area for storage place since its back from the road its so easy to get through gate .

Payments system outdated and not consumer easy. If you have a return payment, they turn off your auto payment. So don’t assume your payment will be automated if this happens. If you do assume, you’ll be late again and they will collect another fee.
When your payment is returned, you have to enter your checking/ routing manually. If you don’t enter correctly, their system will not catch it. You will receive an email for “non-sufficient funds” and be charged a “non- sufficient funds fee” even though non- sufficient funds was never the reason - this indicates an issue with their coding system.
If you think you’re getting a great introductory offer, you’re not. Fees that were not transparent surface and suddenly you’re scratching your head. When you have all your things in there, they jack up the price and argue it’s for “rent pricing” inflation (yes, as if you are renting a house).
But magically if you call and complain about the rate hike, they have a retention system to drop the rate - not to what it was, but to a point where you “feel” remedied and they still get the increase. Scam.

It was sooo hot today and Greg helped me carry my bag into the unit. He offered excellent customer. My only complaint is that it’s too hot in my unit. Expensive Candles were beginning to melt. Not happy about that. The floor in general was hot! Other than that nothing but good things to say especially about Gregg!

Nicole is an absolute nightmare to work with, heaven forbid you have to be connected with her on a phone call and it gets worse. Her in person attitude is absolutely, and gratefully unmatched, she wears rbf, looks highly annoyed when you ask her any questions, and has zero empathy, or customer service skills. She is rude, and cuts you off, doesn't allow you to ask any questions, or give any info about your unit!!
Today she called to remind me about my unit, I asked her for a payment arrangement, or asked what their procedure was for auctioning off unpaid units. I proceeded to let her know that I spoke with the very unpleasant woman yesterday, and before I could go any further she cut me off and told me that I must have spoke with customer service because she was the only one there yesterday, and it could not have been hurt. But she also said that in a very rude, in a matter of fact way, which helped me remember that it was her that I was talking to.
She proceeded to let me know, that if my unit wasn't paid by the end of this month, that I had approximately 2 weeks and it would be on the auction block. Which is much different from what she told me yesterday, she told me that if it wasn't paid by the end of this month on the 1st it was going to auction.
I JUST lost it all recently from DV, I was just asking for an extension or to pay a partial pymnt and got hung up on!!! I STRONGLY dislike her and pray I don't have to interact with Nicole much longer!!!!

Our PS storage facility is up the road from this location. We stopped in to physically make a payment for our unit, and we were greeted by Nikki. Not only did we pay our bill, but she was welcoming and extremely kind and informative. She's a GREAT listener and by her professionalism we gathered that she is a formidable problem solver and during these chaotic times the various solutions that she offered appeased our anxieties which we found to be refreshing. Please employ more professional candidates like her.

Never having to use a storage place before, I came to Public Storage because since a kid this storage company has always stood out. I came to the location on 35th Ave & Union Hills & I was helped by Nikki. Let me tell you Nikki was very polite, helpful, kind, sweet, knowledgeable throughout my whole process. She was honest & upfront during the whole process, nothing every changed, price, story anything! She seriously was the #1 reason I chose this location over others & she actually gave me pricing for another Public Storage location that had a deal, but they did not have Nikki, so I stood with this location. I rented a 7.5x10 in an climate controlled & paid $135 that was for 30 days plus an additional 5 days for the end of August. The price is very reasonable, the units are very clean, great sized & worth the investment. The area is under surveillance, gated, clean & I feel very comfortable about the whole situation. They also have an app & you can unlock the gate from your phone, instead of constantly getting out of your vehicle to enter the 6-10 code digitally. If you are in the surrounding area or if like me customer service means a great deal to you, come to this Public Storage & get helped by Nikki. She's truly awesome!!! Great location,customer & pricing. I highly recommend this PS location.

This place check me in took my money it was easy and fast but then...... 2 Days later I get a message saying I OWE an extra amount for who knows what but it was an extra charge.. What a big disappointment 😞😞

We were looking for storage nearby and fast. After calling around a bunch of different places half were closed on Sunday and the ones that weren’t didn’t have great reviews and surprisingly expensive. We found this place, reasonably priced, and friendly help on the phone from Rosie. Less than an hour later we now have the keys to a unit perfect for our needs. Easy peasy. Thanks Rosie!
*Update* - Renter Beware!!! Our rate was INCREASED by almost $50! We just bought a home and moved out on the 7th of Feb, thinking we would receive a REFUND for part of the $351 we paid for the month! I called today, but there were no refunds?!.! I just paid for all of February for an empty storage unit. Not ok!
Ron went above and beyond. He called me today to ensure I had my code to get in with the movers tomorrow. Very much appreciated the extra time he put in to give me a phone call.
If you can avoid this location, you should avoid it. I've had many of these units over the years, 6 with Public Storage in the last 3 years, and this is the worst I've ever had.
If you'd like to pay for the privilege of having access to a gate that never works with the app, and sometimes doesn't work at all (occasionally it will also tell you to try again later, or call a number where no one answers), zero customer support on-site, and where you need to avoid your unit at all costs on the weekend because even if you can get in the gate with your manual code you'll still be blocked out by all the trucks parked in the single narrow access lane, then this is what you're looking for.
If you'd like access to an accessible, helpful, working storage unit, try the Public Storage location about a mile east of this one, north side of Union Hills near 19th Ave. I've had a much better experience over there.
I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 because it keeps your stuff contained and dry. Which doesn't help a whole lot if you need it and can't get to it, but you have the moderate peace of mind knowing that it will be intact in there when you can eventually access it.

The blond lady was super nice and professional. And made sure I was properly taken care of 10/10 customer service from her. date was November 2nd.
Public storage at 63rd ave and bell's on-site manager Amanda is absolutely rude, And targets individuals. There are people there everyday for longer than 20 minutes, she targeted my friend after there was an incident where he shut the door partially while he changed his clothes and she said it was against policy to be in the unit with the door shut at all for any amount of time. She then terminated his storage for loitering after being there for 45 minutes. He is a single dad who just had to move from a 3 bdrn home to a 1 bdrm apartment suddenly and has been having to go back and forth to storage multiple times a week while he tries to make his daughter comfortable with their new move by giving her as much familiar items as possible so he has had to sort through his stored items when he can to find what she needs and they can fit in their new home and now they have to move all their items again to a new storage because of a rude little girl with nothing better to do
The new owner of this location is amazing. She really cares about her property and the community it serves. She has gone out of her way to get her company to help the neighborhood by repairing a broken gate that doesn't even belong to them. I have no doubt that she will make sure her customers are taken care of with the same kidn regard and respect to their property as well.

Got here today (1/30/21) to pay and it was very busy. However the crew on duty worked quickly and kept customers waiting in the loop so no problem. Been a customer for a year now and never have had any problems here.
Val was awesome and helped me get moved out without any issues. Was at this location for 3+ years and never had an issue. If I needed a storage unit again, I'd use them.
We paid to have our van stored in their "secure facility". Soon after we had our catalytic converter stolen at night by people renting a unit. They offered no help, no assistance in catching those responsible and denied any responsibility. ONE WEEK LATER after replacing the our technician took the van and left his own personal vehicle there and IN THE MIDDLE THE DAY IN BROAD DAYLIGHT his catalytic converter was stolen. They showed us a fake addendum accepted NO responsibility. Stay away from this business. They do not care about you and the do not secure their facilit.

The manager Nikki was super friendly and helpful! I submitted a request online, she called me right away, and found me the right storage that same day! She offered me flexible prices for each unit she showed. I would definitely recommend this place!

Also found out calls to store are NOT recorded so be sure to record your own calls or take detailed notes dealing with this location..
UPDATE: The only one working this is the employee whom told me the manager or district manager left a voice mail which they did not or just putting in notes for filler..idk at this point.. they will still do what they need to do to get their $$$$$.. which seems to be the bottom line which is fine.. but I would make it my mission not to recommend them for storage needs.

COME TO FIND OUT, there's a NEW DM. So all previous conversations and agreements seem to mean ZILCH.
"We can't help you unless the balance is ZERO again...." - per corporate.
IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ZERO WHEN WE PAID IT OFF LIKE 2 PAYMENTS AGO
but SOMEONE DROPPED THE BALL (no one wants to admit or correct the situation) AND THE WAIVED FEES THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE "WAIVED" KEEP ROLLING OVER!
Therefore we're BACK to square one!
"Need to call and speak to so and so...." only to NOT GET CALL BACKS.
ZERO HELP in rectifying the SITUATION to begin with.
ZERO responsibility in taking action and CORRECTING the rollover fees as agreed upon.
OH and let's NOT FORGET, the NOTES they take in "the system" that seem to DISAPPEAR when you call back to verify your PREVIOUS call.
Since calls are RECORDED, per your recording upon calling, why don't you have your legal department look back into the previous calls....

UPDATE: Now a district manager in the name of Ashley G. Is involved and gave me her word that our current arrangements would prevent the auctioning of our belongings. I am currently awaiting her confirmation because failure to do so would result further escalations as stated above. We have another storage unit that has been able to keep their word... let's see if this one will.

Went 3 times and office was closed on May 12th 2022. Need to speak to property manager to pay my bill. No answer either when calling. It’s currently 2:30 pm and this place is still closed, hasn’t been open all day today. Door says open 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
Service and personnel are very attentive, very clean facility.
10x10 indoor unit monthly rent cost went up $100+. NO warning of increase. NO explanation. No prorated costs for moveout, Charged their ridiculous double amount charge for 3 days of use. THEY CHARGE CHARGE CHARGE but only have one person working making it impossible to reach someone. Their customer service is non existent and again they doubled their original rent cost. Why charge $250+ for their 10x10.? RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a storage in chandler that is bigger unit same company and it went up $10 and was still cheaper than this place original cost. But then they decided to raise cost and RIP people off even more. How this location/place can justify going up over $100 is beyond me.
There is plenty more storage locations in the area that make this one the most expensive one you can get.
I IMPLORE YOU, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!

The people here have been very Nice to me and my wife. I only have an outside storage so I cant say what the indoor ones are like. The place is easy to get in and out and security seems to be very good. The garage space I'm renting was clean, the door works well and we have had no problems.
Felt they did the bait and switch on me when i moved in.. it seems they dont have what u need online. But if you walk in they just so happen to have the "last" one and charge a higher price. Prices are high already then ya Did another increase but my unit wasn't even climate controlled. But overall good service from employees. Always nice when I call or go in.
For last two months no staff when go and try to make payment. Starting to think this is to force folks to use the online payment to squeeze more money out of customers. Happen in March, and I will be looking to other storage locations that have staff.
Thank you ROSIE for keeping the place safe and clean. This is a clean and friendly environment. Rosie here is great at what she does. Always makes sure I'm good and there isn't anything that I need.
The manager had great customer service skills. Was very kind and showed me three different storage rooms and gave me prices. Answered all my questions and was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this storage room. It was clean and felt safe with friendly staff .

Well first of all the store was close for a few days ,which made it impossible to pay the rent.then when finally got someone in the store the ask for me to pay the rent and l was charge the whole month rent. when l only used it for 3 or 4 days so l think it should it be probated for the days only so l felt l was wrong.any l will never go back again.!!!!
