I called today and I received the best customer service from Josh Collier I hope the next customer get him on the phone the customer service star is really great I'm glad I chose public storage to place my furniture.
Friendly staff (Tina & Janet), smooth unit transfer process, and clean facility. Highly recommend! The facility has limited dolly availability, so if you have your own, I recommend bringing it.
Rented here for 3 years, very courteous staff (most of the time). Tina the manager was very helpful during our move out of the unit. Definitely would rent here again if needed

I’ve been a customer of this party public storage for a couple years. There has been several property managers however the newest manager Tina…ROCKS!! Everytime I stop by she’s on the property grounds doing something. Mopping sweeping etc she very pleasant and most of all I’m thrilled she’s making people accountable for there actions. She has brought the hand trucks back. I understand a few dishonest folks have stolen a few however those of us who are honest were being penalized for the actions of others and I for one appreciate being able to use the equipment when needed. I'll tell tell you the difference in location and the attitude of staff and a place could never be more different than my old renting space at public storage and this new one the staff and the people here are so great and I'm just so happy that I'm here with them and I've rented another space this location is the bomb and these people here at this location are A1 top notch couldn't ask for better people.

I called and made an appointment to come in and rent a storage unit met with a lady working there named Janice rented me a unit when I got over there someone had already taken that unit so she called made some phone calls got me into another unit she was great all day long I later came back and needed another unit I know it was way past her lunch time and there were a lot of people in line but she went ahead and rented me another unit. Janice was very nice very helpful at sometimes had two phones that are ears and three people in line

Omg where do I begin ! I've been here at this storage for a long time. Ive been out of state for the last two years. Eileen has been the best thing that has happened to this location. From actually returning my calls to checking into questions that I had to saving me money monthly and waiving a couple fees. I can't thank you enough just for your excellent customer service , you're friendly smiles and just thoroughly helping me stay on top on this storage unit. You need a all inclusive paid for vacation on the companies dime. There have been plenty of simple things that could have made my experience a lot better before Eileen came. I'm thankful she's here now and I definitely would recommend anyone to store your goods here and leave Eileen an amazing review. Thank you for being the best part of public storage. Eileen @ the I-17 + 24th Ave location is an absolute angel.
My initial phone call looking for storage was amazing -- the girl in the main corporate phone center helped me get the exact perfect size of Unit I needed, she made sure the access location on-site was convenient for me, she got everything set up exactly how I needed it and I was then able to just show up to the Site and access my unit. I was so excited to have had such amazing customer service. Since I have been in Customer Service for 25+ years, I'm very critical, but also immediately recognize someone who cares about what they do & how their clientele feels to the same caliber that I care for my customers.
However, my first interaction with a different on-site employee was less than stellar. I can now say - I think we were probably both having a bad day & we're just easily able to press each other's buttons, but then Eileen reached out to me, and completely restored the first impression -- then she surpassed it. She listened to my grievances and concerns, she remained goal-oriented on a resolution to my concerns, and she delivered - above and beyond. I was ready to pull the plug and have my belongings moved to another company, but Eileen (and her district manager who was also great!) were able to make me feel 100% confident with continuing our relationship. they listened to all of my needs and preferences, made sure I was taken care of, and they even remember the small & personal things I've told them anytime I see them again.
Some people are just made for customer service and some people are not -- but the care Eileen has exhibited is clearly just who she is. She will likely be running the entire company someday - & with good reason . Bravo.

They are great to the clients that rent here. The only place in the area that treats paying customers like human beings. A lot of times people end up in storage with the last little bits of their belongings because of bad events break ups, divorce, job loss,deaths etc. etc. they at least show a modicum of respect and thoughtfulness when it comes to every individual and their unique circumstances. Kudos on you.
The process of renting a storage unit was made simple, quick and easy by the staff at this particular location. A much appreciated fact as time is a most valuable commodity. The staff was efficient and had their thing down to a science so that the entire process is an easy task to accomplish. Eileen made us feel welcome and without any pause or delay very quickly and professionally she fielded our questions and provided us with a storage unit in a well lit, clean, indoor facility that is in an accessable location just off a major transit hub. The amount of time that Eileen saved us is HUGE! Public Storage is a well run, professional and efficient storage unit facility which provides a safe and secure area for your affects that need to be stored.

I wanted to take the opportunity to share a review concerning my experience at Public Storage. The few times I have been to the storage on 24th Avenue near Northern Avenue and I-17. I have encountered a worker and gentleman named Damien. HIs customer service skills and attention to detail is remarkable. He is kind and welcoming. He helped make a very hectic day more relaxing and the conversation was good as well. We all at times can go about our day in haste and lose sight of what is most important. I was very impressed with Damien's work ethic and his desire to take care of the customer. I have informed all my friends and family about the great customer care I received from Damien at Public Storage. Damien is a true asset to Public Storage and their mission and I hope they are treating him like a valued employee.

This is an amazing place, when I got my unit Desiree showed me where my unit was and was very polite and answered all my questions, today when I went to lay down for a nap my phone rang and Damian was calling from public storage to let me know my lock hadn't fully latched, I appreciate that more than words can express. Thank you Damian for taking the time to do your job and ensure all units are secure, not only that but also taking the time to call me and let me know about my mistake. Afterwards I went to thank him in person, he was very respectful, and helpful, amazing customer service. Don't have enough good thongs to say about my experience here. Highly recommended!

I've been renting my storage unit with them for Just about 5 months now. I've done everything online and today was the first time I actually went into the office and actually spoke to someone face to face. So here is my experience so far:
The issue that I was having was my rent being increased starting April. I've already paid my rent for March. But I recently went to check on my balance and it said that I haven't paid my rent for March and that the increase is applied to my March rent. I went in and Damien got me all taken care of. Some kind of glitch in their system saying I owed one penny but it's showing the full amount for April on my March statement. Since I paid in advance he took care of that for me and also postponed the rent increase as a courtesy for The issues I was having. He went above and beyond to make sure I'm having a good experience at their location and for me to continue my patronage there. I felt well taken care of and appreciated from the service Damien provided me with.
I will say, everything has been really smooth with the process. It's basically open 24 hours and I felt safe with the locking mechanism where I can store my car to unload things. I never had to see anyone face to face which is good if you care about social distancing. I kept temperature sensitive beauty items in my unit and never had any issue with them.
However, the Wi-Fi from my providers (At&T) is absolutely horrendous at this location. It makes it basically impossible to watch videos or listen to music as I'm sorting through my unit, which is very inconvenient. As well as makes the app take awhile to load to unlock the doors.
And the biggest negative, if you are worried about square footage, make sure you bring a measuring tape and look at the unit before you rent it. As stated by other reviewers and from my experience as well, The unit is in fact smaller than advertised. I'm paying for a 5x10 and I'm getting more like a 3x8. And that's not even including the 4in around the edges that have metal paneling so you have to fit smaller items around the sides like yoga mats, small bags etc. As well as keeping 3 inches from the door as there are metal guards on it. I attached photos of my unit so you can see what I'm talking about.
Overall, I do recommend this location. Just make sure you go in and check out the unit before renting.

I’ve had my storage with public storage for almost a year and I have never had a problem at all. I needed help with setting up movers to pick my stuff up without my being there. I believe Angel and Stella were the ones to help. Stella went out of her way to come and cut the lock for me due to my not being able to fly back. Angel…. Where do I start with this one. She went above and beyond and every single time I called her she returned my call within minutes. And I called probably 10 times because of the back and forth with the movers!
Let me give some context to what was going on.
The movers set the pick up date for the 27-29th of this month. They called and said the pick up would be the 28th. Angel set a lock cut for around then. The movers called and wanted to move the pick up to the 27th, and then last minute said they would come on the 26th, outside of the 2 day window policy for the moving company, giving mere hours to get the lock cut. Needless to say the movers turned this into a nightmare. Angel took that worry from me and made some phone calls to have someone come cut the lock before noon when the drivers said they would arrive which they didn’t. They called and said they would be there by 4:30 so I called and notified Angel who said it would be fine and even gave a little cushion and stated she would even wait until 5:15 at the latest knowing that they would possibly be late. She even spoke to the movers on 3 way to try to resolve this issue with me even with the driver being rude trying to get her to stay until 5:30. The pick up date is now set for the next day due to the drivers being changed. She let me know that she would be there tomorrow as well as another employee (I forget the name) and stated if I was more comfortable talking to her I could ask for her to ease my stress. She kept me well informed and continued to let me know she was here for me and would do all she can to help me.
One of my twin daughters passed away and I had to move to texas and take time off to take care of my surviving daughter who was born at 27 weeks. I placed my stuff in storage and have been without furniture for a while. She did all this without knowing this and the fact that my father passed away last week who I originally moved with. I lost my entire support system which I didn’t even have to express to her but she will know after reading this. Angel did everything she could to keep my belongings safe and alleviate stress for me. I know all of this sounds like a me problem and like what she did was very simple, but after everything I’ve been thru, not once did she have an attitude with me or procrastinate. You would have had to hear it to know the level or professionalism and compassion she carried. I was so impressed because I was irritable and trying so hard to not have an attitude with everyone I encountered and speaking with her made me feel so much more calm. I can’t express how nice and refreshing it is to be met with such professionalism and caring regardless of the details of my life. I know that every customer she encounters will be met with the same. It takes a lot to leave your problems at the door and remove your personal feelings and just be a decent human being. She was that for me. That type of attitude defused my almost blow up when I felt like no one was listening she was there hearing out every frustration. Before I could vent my all frustrations she was already looking for ways to help me with every problem I expressed and for that I am so grateful. Seriously!

And especially today, Kathy, and Angel, were kind enough to make sure that when they did their property walk – they were capable to spot that my unit had not been locked by me earlier that day. They gave me a courtesy call, I was able to come on down, and get it locked. Because of the great prices, and the great property security, I will be continuing my business with this location.

If this review was based on overall appearance i would give it 1 star. When i first rented my unit the place was in total chaos. The office was closed and The security guard was trying to check in like 6 people by way of looking thru a ledger printout to see if you owed money and were allowed access to your unit. There were homeless people all hanging outside and garbage EVERYWHERE!! I was very disappointed and has planned on nor being there for any length of time. The elevator was and still is DISGUSTING. I dont think its ever been wipes down or hosed out at all!
BUT i will say now the conditions have improved IMMENSELY! They have a secured roll up door to allow you to drive in and park inside while you access your unit so no one bothers you asking for money and so forth.
AND the people that work there are so GREAT. Kody is so helpful and polite. He went out of his way to help my husband get some our stuff down to the car seeing that he had foot surgery and was still having some problems moving around. He went above and beyond the scope of his job requirements and his thoughtfulness is the ONLY reason we still have our unit there.

It started off a lil rocky I did online reservation and paid for the unit but when we arrived the unit that was already in use.. I was of course a lil upset but KODY the gentleman who was working on the front office fixed the problem and got us in an even better unit than the 1that was reserved... He has absolutely great customer service.. He made sure before we left we where comfortable with the new unit and helped us move our things.. Before we left I was very satisfied with the service and My husband and I were very happy with his service ...
I just got off the phone with Cody. He returned my call expeditiously and walked me through the app process. I have had a unit there for a year and it’s been good, as long as the large gate is working! 😊 Cody is customer service oriented and has a great personality. He’s an asset for your company! A+++++

The storage itself it a little confusing, but that's kind of most storage units. It's clean, sizeable for cost, and easily accessible. Definately recommend.

Been using this storage unit for about six months now and never expected much considering the location. The first few times getting a push cart dolly had been inconvenient, either couldn’t find the front desk clerk or clerk was on lunch. But these past two times or so I had experienced Kody the front desk clerk. Kody is so helpful, so informational and accommodating. Not only is he pleasant but he communicated well with my time frames so I was never waiting around. As kody was doing his rounds, i asked him to breifly keep an eye on my truck while my son napped in his car seat. Unloading into my storage unit for those five minutes was not worth waking my son and because he has three kids he understood. Thank you public storage for hiring a confident and competent gentleman.

I don't think very much of Public storage I think they suck. But kody is a decent guy I was there today waited quite a long time office door was closed locked up 10 customers try to come in the door but it was locked.kody next time you leave the office it only takes 30 seconds to write a note stick it on the door I'm on break I'll be back in 20 minutes or whatever

Kody, the manager on duty offered his help when I was running late. He even offered to stay bit after to make sure I got my move done. Facility is in a rougher area, but secuity has been good, and the units are air conditioned, affordable, and accessable by elevator. Its a decent value for money.
