Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 26740 E University Dr, Aubrey, TX

if I could give less than one star I would- how do you run a place when there's no one in office at all times? when this place was All Storage we never had any issues speaking with someone in office, there was never any issue with elevators, there was never an issue using the on site dumpster, there was never any issue with cleanliness of the facility and there was never any issues finding carts to use. now with it being Public Storage you can never usually find anyone in office cause they "don't stay in office", you can't use the on site dumpster cause it's for "office use only", there's trash left all in the parking spots inside and the bathroom is always dirty, one elevator is usually broken, and carts are left wherever people want to leave them. this place has gone seriously downhill with the company switch over and we couldn't be anymore disappointed with the lack of communication that's held between management about closing on a unit. this is the last time we will ever consider doing business with any Public Storage thanks to this particular location.

She was great help

The service I received from Fabby & Ben was top tier. They were kind, helped me switch my unit out without fuss or fight and explained everything to me thoroughly. The on-boarding process was extremely seemless as well.

No one ever answers the phone!!!! There isn’t even a main public storage customer support phone number. I will never rent a storage from this company again!

Jasmine is a completely amazing store manager not to mention human being. She's kind attentive very helpful and goes out of her way to accommodate her customers. It's apparent Jasmine is destined for greater heights because of her depth of knowledge. Public Storage should treasure this one!

Update: almost a month now no refund!! Public storage needs to be audited Immediately!! Representatives are stating That my refund needs to be approved First and it takes 6-8 weeks to receive Any refunds!!! Totally Ridiculous!! Public storage is holding customers money longer than normal and not refunding within a timely manner! Public Storage is definitely gaining interest by holding refunds for three weeks! You will hear from my attorney’s!!! Anybody reading this and has had there refund held over 5-7 business please contact an attorney to start a class action lawsuit. You know what forget the lawyers, I’m contact Investigative reporters from NBC OR ABC to look into this tomorrow! Keep the dam refund!

The facility is clean, was easy to set up the rental agreement and the 50% Memorial Day sale was the deal that sealed it for me. I would give 5 stars but their cell phone gate access is not working and they don't seem to know when it will ever be fixed. You can still open the gate with the keypad but it's just a little inconvenient, especially during bad weather.

At this location Jasmine is a stellar employee. There were a few inconveniences including technology errors. What could have a been a bad experience and led to a bad review, Jasmine turned it around in a professional and friendly way. She went out her way to resolve any issues. She made the entire process easy to understand. Five stars.

Overly priced and inconvenient. these multi story things seem good in theory, until more than 3 people have cars inside and park wherever with no consideration for anyone else. At 200+ a month for a 10x10, I will be moving out ASAP.

This place is great for all of your storage needs. I needed a secure parking spot for my work truck and Jasmin (the manager) helped me with it. She was so easy to work with, not to mention quick and efficient, and she got me all set up right away.

Been using this storage facility for awhile. Staff is super nice, really helpful. The manager, Jasmin, couldn’t be nicer if she tried. Always so helpful and friendly. Great job to all.

I had rented my space for 2 years at this location and have had a great experience overall. I was today years old when I realized there was actually a bathroom onsite where the climate controlled spaces are. Somehow I'd never seen it before. Also, I found it extremely convenient that they have carts onsite for the climate controlled spaces. Today tho, I had the most pleasant interaction and experience with Jasmine, the property manager. As I was emptying my full 10x10 space into a 26' Uhaul, I realized I had forgotten my water, and was soooo parched after sweating so much. I saw Jasmine walking through with the cleaning cart and I asked her if there was a drink machine in the lobby. She apologized profusely and said unfortunately they didn't. I thanked her and kept moving because I wasn't near finished and wasn't willing to secure everything down and drive in & out of the facility with that huge truck just to go get a drink. She must have felt bad for my wild-haired, sweating, red-faced self because when I came back down from my 15th trip upstairs, she appeared out of no where, like an angel of mercy, with a COLD bottle of water!!! I was truly, eternally grateful for not only her selfless and kind gesture, but also for the cold water itself. Jasmine, you saved and made my day! Thank you so much!!!

Great storage option. The staff was very friendly and the faculty is clean and easy to use. I also really liked being able to manage my account and storage access through the app.

The elevators will only work by going on the app and the service is bad so the app won’t work. Half the time the elevators don’t even work at all. Poorly ran storage facility

I love love this place everytime I come and rent out a storage Trisha is soooo helpful and respectful and always understands. By far the best person I’ve encountered. Public Storage bought this place, at which point it all went downhill. First they got rid of the big carts and put the smaller PS carts in place. Then there are usually only 2/3 carts available. You have to put your code in every time you go up the elevator. Even in the supposedly climate-controlled area it's hot. But my biggest complaint - and everyone else's that I've run into the last 2 days who are also moving their stuff out because of this - my biggest complaint is they keep raising the rental price. One lady I talked to while moving said her rent raised $100 in the last year. Ours kept going up every 3 months or so too until finally we had enough. It's ridiculous to be quoted a price initially and then start raising the rent over and over. If u want to end up paying more and more for the same unit as the months go by, well they will accommodate u! The one good thing I will say about it is, it was clean. My location was Aubrey, TX on University Dr.

I'm out in this yard and I'm stuck. I called 30 minutes ago and there's nobody answering the phone there is nobody working here. I'm literally stuck in the yard with no exit. I went to the front but I'm trapped inside of the drive-thru area because the gates won't open. Never again will I do business with public storage this is a disaster. I'm going to have to climb over a barbed-wire fence just to get out. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! My code doesn't work!!!!!!!!

The code never worked for me from day one, the gate access worked occasionally 3 or 4 times. Reported the issue once - it worked while I tested when the manager was there and that’s it - never worked again. Tried to access in last 4 days multiple times after 5 pm before 9 pm and never worked.

Nice facility. However, the code that you are assigned to get inside the gate and get on elevators doesn't always work. The hallways are on motion sensors making the hallway well lit when you are going to your unit. The downside is that if there is no motion after a few minutes in the hallway, the lights go out and there is no light in the unit so you have to use your phone or go in hallway for lights to come back on. I recommend they put a motion light in each unit.

Rented a unit to store equipment for a year and moved 800 miles away. Got an email the next day that they needed me to change units within a month. Horrible service and a total waste of my time and money. It is physically impossible for me to change units.

Great customer service attitude

Super convenient and clean storage facility. The only problem is when you have an issue. No one will call you back. Light has been out on interior unit which should be an easy fix. One year later after speaking to front desk multiple times and asking for DM to contact us(never get a call back from anyone) we still have to bring flashlights to see our staging material that we use real estate pictures.

If I could give a ZERO star I would. This process has been awful. in the 2.5 months I rented a unit, I NEVER saw a single person actually working there. They would randomly - put the moving carts AWAY therefore leaving you moving without any carts that they say are there upon engaging with them. Moved out ASAP and thought I was in the clear. Moved out on the 1st and was notified on the 2nd of closing the account. After talking to 2 Public Storage employees and them stating that I would have the property manager reaching out in 24-48 hours for confirmation and pro-rated reimbursement. I called and they just informed me that they cannot honor that and dont know why 2 people would say that. The "piece of work" of an employee then cussed at me on the phone because I was frustrated at the lack of communication as I was trying to just get this "agreement" that I signed that stated no refund. She said its not her problem and that I can go to the location (25 mins from my house) to get obtain a copy. I let her know that I dont live close and that they should have that on file and she said your account is closed and "we will not send you a copy via email". She then topped it of with "Alright, you dont get it and If you want something you can drive to another public storage and try to get that way. In the end I'm not helping you." ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY AND EMPLOYEES. What a joke of a business. PLUS they made me pay the $175 for the 12 hours of usage for that MONTH!
