Clean facility, and while close to downtown, remarkably quiet and drama free. The manager, Michelle is also a terrific person. Definitely the kind of pro in this field that instills the kind of confidence that my stored belongings are going to be fine.

Lisa was so helpful today. There was malfunctions with the gate and she made sure that I was was still able to get in and to my unit. She was amazing and gave me as much helpful information that she was able to. Very grateful for her.

Do not rent from this location or company. In 2 years my storage unit was broken into twice, but I was only informed once. They did not aid the police investigation in any way and I've been battling their claims department for months for an employee breaking items in my unit before the break-ins. The rent also increased by $150 in 2 years, after an initial rate of ~$100. The staff is never there and even as I moved items out this month, the employee on staff noted how incompetent her colleagues are.

After making my reservation for a storage unit, she called to help me to get the rental completed, and it’s a good thing she did, because apparently I had somehow managed to make a reservation at the wrong location. My unit was broken into. They had noticed something about the locks so one of the attendants added some new locks and called me but it was weeks after the unit had been broken into. I tried to get the manager to call me when my unit was broken into and the attendant left many messages but the manager never called me back. The security here is very poor. It's very hard to know when an employee will be there as hours are not posted on the door. They also only have one main elevator so if someone else is using it, you're out of luck. I ran into several other customers who had their unit broken into.

If I could rate this place below a zero I would. I would really implore anyone who is thinking of or even currently renting from here to go somewhere else!! My partner and I moved our stuff here in the middle of October and by the beginning of December our unit was broken into with valuable possessions stolen. The manager called me and left a message about an ‘important matter’ and then it took me over a week to actually be able to get ahold of someone about the lock missing from our door. When I finally was able to go over there and talk to someone in person (they are erratically in the office when the information says otherwise) the guy who I spoke to was clueless about anything going on there. There are hardly any cameras on the floors and it is very easy to see into all of the units from looking into the cracks and from above. Someone was able to see into our unit then break in using bolt cutters very easily and then able to meticulously go through all our possessions for who knows how long. Come to find out today while trying to move our stuff out, the thief was another renter from the building and was able to break into multiple units and steal from a bunch of people. This company has known about the individual for over a month and aren’t able to get the police involved because it’s the ‘tenants possessions not theirs.’ This kind of mentality for a business who doesn’t care about customer service or about people who rent from them is disgusting. The people who work there are don’t have a clue what’s going on and really just don’t care about basic service. DO NOT RENT HERE.
Not recommended. No security cameras on the floors, maybe two on the outside so your things are not safe. My unit was ransacked easily.

The reviewer AH is just an insecure and negative loser who didn't make it far in life because he was bullied for most of his life. So he compensates by harassing exhausted workers and gaslighting them to elevate himself. On top of that, he also feels entitled to throw shade at them by leaving 1 star reviews and uses anonymity to hide his cowardness. To the manager reading this, I hope you notify AH and send this message to him because I want to get him mad.
I want to be clear here at the beginning — James was very helpful and polite during my tour of the facility. James gets 5 stars!
However, I’m very troubled to see almost a dozen people here reporting their units were broken into over the last year. Further, that management didn’t even notify them of the theft, was uncooperative in insurance claim processes, and flat out didn’t seem to care their stuff had been stolen.
Most of the units in this building are thin wooden doors with padlocks on them — extremely easy to break into. They supposedly have cameras on site, but it sounds like they are essentially useless.
I had a reservation to rent here, but after reading nearly a dozen 1 star reviews reporting theft and/or steeply rising prices after contracts were signed I will never be a customer here.

updated review from 5 stars to 1 star: Deciding to utilize this company was one of the worst choices I’ve ever made, and resulted in me losing hundreds of dollars that they absolutely should have refunded to me. I honestly cannot even figure out where to begin but fair warning, stay away. There are so many other options in the area that are the same prices, safer, have actual customer service and won’t treat you with zero humanity.
The only reason they have good reviews is because Michele asks for reviews when you sign up and at that point you have zero clue what you’re getting yourself into.
The alarm goes off no fewer than twenty times a night, every night. Not surprised to read reviews saying that units are getting broken into.
My unit here was recently broken into. The thief replaced the lock with one of their own. The theft wasn't discovered until I visited my unit and discovered my key didn't work.
The storage facility never gave me video of the theft or proof that they had reviewed the security footage. All my calls have gone unanswered.
I was also told other tenants would only be notified of my theft at the facility manager's discretion. So other thefts may have occurred during my rental period that I was not informed of.
I'm never using a Public Storage facility again.
DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE. I had my stuff in a 5x5 from April to today. There WAS NO VISUAL SIGN OF BREAK IN, as my lock had not been tampered with, but thieves managed to steal a safe with my birth certificate and social security card, around $700 worth of musical equipment, and a full cordless Ryobi tool set. Plus my rate went from $29 a month to $42 a month after I was explicitly told that it would stay at the $29 a month at the time of move in. I would have had a better experience had I just handed my stuff directly to a local criminal. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had renting anything from anyone.

The location is great and the process was very convenient. The elevator makes the moving of heavy objects a breeze! Price is great for the amount of space offered and the staff is friendly and efficient!
Don’t recommend this place. My unit was broken into in May and I’m still dealing with insurance and police reports. However, staff member Justice is the only saving grace for this place. He was so helpful and made my interaction with public storage better.
Matthew at the Sandy location was the best person we could have asked for to help us get set up in our new storage space. He was kind, knowledgeable, efficient and answered any and all questions we had with clarity. Thank you, Matthew!

The elevator has been broken here at least 50% of the time I’ve tried to access my storage unit, and this issue has been recurring for over a year now. We do not have access to the stairwell from outside, so that means at least 50% of the time I have no access to the product that I pay to have full access to. In my book, this is false advertising and warrants a BBB complaint and possibly legal action. Look somewhere else if you don’t want to have your personal property inaccessible due to constant equipment failure.

Public storage is very lucky to have her as an employee! Again this is NOT a review for the space itself, that is a very different rating. A+ for Michelle though!
I've had more problems with a storage unit. On 3 different occassions the elevator wasnt working and since no one works on site and they never pick up there phone that means you cant get in for the day. A storage unit should be reliable. I live a 2 minute walk from this one but am going to move to one I have to drive to because this place is so bad.
I want to rate this place zero stars it is so horrible. Their elevator has been down 4 days now. No one has said when it will be backup or if it will be backup. The property manager never picks up the phone. You get detoured to some hotline where you talk to a different person each time. The sad part is they have another elevator, but I am unable to access it because I don't have a code for the bottom storage facility they have my code, only works for my floor. It says it's 24-hour access, and it does not. They say there's someone there from 6 A.M. TO 9 P.M. there is not.
You are better off going to another place.
Sandy Public Storage is the greatest. Michelle go out of her way to asist a needy customer. N u don't see a lot of customer service like that thease days.

They reduced their staffing to 4 hours a day(which they rarely actually do, I haven’t seen someone working those hours in months), and now my unit has been broken into. Do not rent from these people.
Great customer service. They went above and beyond when a power surge put the elevator out of service right in the middle of moving my stuff! Helpful staff.
They are super friendly and helpful, and I have never even rented a unit there. The people I've met who work here have been happy to go above and beyond what I've asked of them, insistent on it even. Very caring and genuine, super cool to see. Like I said, I'm not renting here, but based on my experience with their staff alone I'd highly recommend this place.

I didn't actually rent at this facility. I talked to Paul, and he definitely went above and beyond for me. One of his coworkers had booked me a parking space for my work truck. An inside parking space. And Paul figured out that my 12' tall truck was not going to fit in an 8' tall parking space. He saved me time, money, and frustration. Then Paul went beyond, by finding me a parking space that I can fit in.

Beware steep and quick price escalations after your initial rate agreement. I have been renting a 5x5 unit here for ~6 months. Initial reservation and move-in processes were smooth and thorough. And everyone I have encountered in the office has been helpful and pleasant. My initial price for my space back in February was reasonable. But there was a 35% per month increase in my rental fee starting in August. I sent two messages through the app to ask if the charge was correct and what drove the material jump in the fee, but I have yet to receive a reply. That has been my experience with this facility thus far.

I was helping a friend at this location and typically storage places have people that help but this was the worst experience since the employee decided that he was quitting and just left and told everyone to call customer service.
Very easy process to sign-up and the customer service is awesome!! Betty was wonderful and showed us a unit before we decided to rent. She answered all of our questions, was patient, and made the whole process excellent.

Everything. Gone. Thousands of dollars of belongs and sentimental keepsakes gone forever. Only three months in an I got a call saying my unit was broken into. Where are cameras?? Sure the staff was nice and professional and did their job perfectly fine, but how can you run a place with such shaky security? Was it an inside job? I’ll never know. I filed a police and insurance report but it’s a bureaucratic nightmare and will likely never see a fraction of the value of my belongings back. STAY AWAY.
I've been meaning to write this for awhile. I called and talked to Carlos about renting a unit and he was amazingly helpful and thorough. So great to get good customer service for once - it's rare these days.

I just got a 5x5 unit in this location. The application and move-in process was super easy. Property manager Avi was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She showed us around and answered all our questions. The premises are clean, the access hours are reasonable, and I felt like my stuff is safe.
