I was very impressed when I walked into the office of this place the woman behind the counter was very friendly and polite I really enjoyed her knowledge that she had about the storage unit industry I will be back within 2 weeks time to purchase a storage unit for my items

Jennifer was very professional and helpful, during my experience with Public Storage.

It's ok if you need something last minute but to keep upping the price is not ok.

Over billed several times and half the time the lights are off out back and the storage light want even come on when the door is open. They have the electric shut off. If someone was to break in the camera couldn't identify them because it's to dark.

Too small and don't get a big uhaul truck because there's hardly any space to move around and they park the storaged cars right in the way instead of having them towards the back area

Very disappointed been paying for a unit here for 3 years today I needed assistance and the lady working was in her car looked at us then went inside the private office building I knocked on the door and she was smoking a cigarette inside and said she couldn’t help us until she was back on the clock not sure her name but she drives a black Cadillac so if she’s working highly recommend waiting until someone else is there that will actually do there job. I’m very unhappy with this experience

wondrous customer service from the two ladies at the front. it was raining when i got there yesterday and the unit i got online wasn’t fully ready yet so with a truck bed full of boxes i was in a rush. they quickly found me a new unit and even gave me a covered spot to park to get out of the rain! 11/10

We stored our fifth wheel here for 3 months while we were in Colorado for work. The woman who runs the front desk is amazing! Our fifth wheel was exactly how we left it. The price is unbeatable. I would 100% store here again! Update: I’m knocking down stars because we have been sitting at the gate waiting be let out for 10 minutes so far. It’s 99° out and we have 2 dogs. Whoever is working today left and there’s no sign on the door to indicate where they are or when they’ll be back. We’ve called several times hoping it may transfer to a cell phone. It does not. Update: We sat here for 30 minutes.

Only draw back closing at 9pm wish it was open later.

I hate this place and I know for a fact that the people here rob you. I'll never store here ever again. They do nothing to prevent break INS because they're most likely the ones doing it . They don't fix the walls they just poorly rig the problems . This place is fraud. One of the most important items that really meant something to me is gone forever. Harold has extremely poor customer service , this was the worst place I could've stored property at and I thoroughly regret it. Huge mistake and doesn't even deserve one star. If I could rate this place a negative 200 I would.

The management will steal your items then lie about it. Do not use this facility. Over 30 breakins recently at this facility. My items were found in another persons unit. When she complained they locked her out. The insurance is a joke. You have to have proof of a break-in. When it's managment using keys to get in, it nullifies the insurance. If you are considering using this facility 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ Run far and fast..

Stay away! My mother's unit was broken into twice here. First time, the thieves broke through drywall to get into her unit. Then we moved the remainder of the stuff a few units down and took pictures of what was there. Today we went to get her stuff and an old chest that was my grandma's and a couch were stolen. No drywall destroyed this time so it had to have come from someone who worked there and had keys. We are filing a police report.

I was shown the unit I put on hold and it was the perfect size for me, which is a 5 x 10. The price for the unit was decent and the manager was very helpful with the process.

My unit was completely infested with roaches. They were literally everywhere. Everything had to go straight to the dump. The manager was completely indifferent and wouldn't say anything about it.

I'd like to give a huge shout out to the employees of public storage in OKC especially here on Reno I've been here for 2 years and I've never had a problem that they wouldn't solve happily but today what I'd like to say is THANK YOU for keeping myself and all your customers safe!. I came in to pay my bill this past month and as always I wait outside while there's a customer inside because of course it's private but during the pandemic especially. Social distancing.. as I waited outside I read the noticed they had on the door about public Storage commitment to keeping everyone safe as the other customer exited I looked In to see if she was ready.. I observed Miss Beverly who was working in the office, alcohol gel Her gloved hands, then disinfected the counter and disinfected even the pad awhich everybody has to sign whatever transaction they're doing that is the true way to keep your customers safe.. I walk into other places that have publicly stated that they're doing everything to protect you I only see they're using the same gloves and they're touching all the customers things before us then ours and then the people after us. Never stopping to wipe the counter nor did clean gloves or change their gloves and the only they are doing is keeping themselves safe but here they're keeping their customers safe as well ... I truly want to thank her and the rest of the public storage team for going the extra mile during these uncertain and fearful times..thank you public Storage

I have had my unit for a solid year now and have yet to have an issue even with Oklahoma’s crazy weather. I was concern about rain getting in my unit and damaging my belongings. So far, I have not had a problem. I recently had to move my unit and John and Deron assisted in getting me one only two down from my current one and with the same size. I didn’t have to pay anything and my pay amount and insurance is the same! Thank you guys for assisting me!

The staff is friendly and very helpful. The unit we rented has 4 light switches but 3 of them are broken and I won't know about the 4th one until I put a new light bulb in.

We used this place for almost 2 yrs now. Never had a issue other then they have raised the rent probably 3 times thus far.

I would like to saye a good word about Ray. I came in yesterday needing to transfer to a 10 x 10 & they were closing plus I didn't have enough money. I've been having problems getting things to go my way, and they haven't been working out. I pulled up to the storage facility on April 7 Sunday at 4:40 p.m. Ray just pulled up from showing a storage to a customer. When he was done he told me it was too late to do my transfer. Me being in the state of mind that I am in and needing to be out of my apartment today. I start crying and losing it. Ray being the nice person that he is, out of the kindness of his heart went ahead, and helped me out. Now the man tell me you work 6 days a week and here I am on a Sunday coming in at closing time needing to do a transfer. He didn't have to do this, but he chose to. I'm really glad that public storage has employed a person with sympathy, compassion, and understanding in today's society. Right from the bottom of my heart you made my day today. I've struggled really hard since the death of my husband! I honestly believe you deserve a big raise!! Seeing how I am not your employer I will just pray for you, and may God bless you abundantly Ray. Thank you so, so much.

Would rate it higher if their website would work . . . For God's sake, don't ever forget your username or password. If you do, your only option is to physically go in to pay your bill.

Have had a unit there for about a week, gate broke the next day so there is limited access to the facility.

They’re great until a problem happens. For instance, the gate is broken due to someone else’s actions. Instead of fixing the issue that impacts all of the other renters or providing an alternative way of allowing the renters to have access to their things, she just give me an “I don’t know” when it will be fixed. I understand you want to find the culprit, but the actions make it look like they’re trying to go after who did it to make them pay for it instead of going after them once it is fixed. Can you imagine if someone was moving out of state and needed to get their belongs or vic e versa? I understand there is so much they can do, and it’s not the staff whom I’m blaming. It’s the way the business is being handled.

This place is terrible! The lady that runs it doesn't help matters at all. I couldn't get a simple bill sent to me in the mail after they insisted they sent one. Numerous times. Hah! Would only receive anything in the mail after they had cut the lock and filed a lien. I think they try to get people to owe late fees on purpose. So anyway been trying to move out for weeks. Was lucky enough to sneak in the gate twice to get all the good stuff out. Needed to do final inspection and cleanup of the unit for weeks.. Have not been as lucky to sneak in. That is probably by design too. Try to go to the office at 11 door locked, sign says come back at 11:30. Come back at 11:30 on the dot sign now says come back at 12.. 😠 Go today at 1:40pm.. Door locked, sign says come back at 2:10, with lady sitting in the office stuffing her face with a burger just looks at me.. 🧐Stay far away from here if you can help it! We had been a customer for 10 years easy.

The manager at this facility is rude and the district manager at thanks that she does no wrong. They will cut your lock off if your one day late so that you will have to but one of thier locks again for $22. They will not let you back in your unit until you do so. And if you go to this location you might get lucky to talk to the manager if she is there 99% of the time you will see a sign be back at a certain time and she might show up 30 minutes after the time shown on the sign

Are people being given something for these 5 star reviews? I did not get the same impression of this Tashira person. Little back story. We have been at the other Public Storage location on Reno for literally over a decade, not had that many problems over the years. December 2016 we get a letter that we have to move out cause they want to do renovations.. Oh okay.. That is kind of a pain but whatever, we'll move a couple miles away. So now we move into this different location on Reno and Rockwell.. Starts off gate is broke for days.. Finish moving in.. Gate seems to be fixed. Few week later fate broke again. I'm sensing a pattern. Thinking a whole new gate may be in order. The other location's on Reno gate was flawless over the years. So anyway, for our trouble we were given a free month or some thing not comparable to the cost of having to move. This is around 6th of January I believe. I had to put this new rental in my name that was previously in our business name.. So I do and figure all is well they will send the bill like they have for over a decade to the same P.O. Box just has my name on it. Cause for some reason they can force you out but can not transfer the information to a new location. I was told because the person that originally opened the storage needed to be there. Well he has cancer and in the hospital not possible. So do what I gotta do I guess. Then I guess a couple months go by.. No invoices, at this point I'm still thinking eh.. Maybe they feel bad about kicking us out and our free month may have started late cause I receive not one piece of mail from PS until I get a nasty certified letter in said PO Box saying I'm a deadbeat a lien has been place on our account yadda yadda. So here is where I start dealing with this Tashira person. I physically go to the location with my notice and politely ask why I am not receiving invoices for this storage unit. "They are being sent to this PO box ______" My response "No they are not, I check that PO box daily" So yeah whatever, call customer service and pay the rental fee and all the BS charges we got stuck with stemming from not receiving a bill. Fast forward one more month.. I get a "courtesy call" saying my rent is due tomorrow you have one day to pay without incurring a late charge. So I call.. I then ask Tashira again.. "Why am I not receiving invoices from you" Same back and forth ensues, then a guess the light bulb went off. And Tashira has now figured it out! "We send your invoices through email, says here you don't have an email address on file, so therefore the emails don't get sent" Duh you think? So I got screwed over on late fees and lien fees because you can't tell me you are sending invoices to a non existing email addresses but telling you we are mailing them. Okay then sounds crappy enough... I ask may I add an email address then? Well no.. "That can't be done over the phone only in person or by calling customer service. " Makes perfect sense.. Also of note, I ended up calling customer service a month previous to settle the bill and made sure they had my email address, and would they please send me a receipt to that email address. Still waiting on that receipt. Maybe after calling them this time it will stick. I should have known when the other location was making comments about Tashira's incompetence when we were being forced to move to choose another location right then. Even if it caused me to drive an additional 15 miles.
