DO NOT RENT FROM PUBLIC STORAGE!!!! They gave me 20 minutes to get my things and told me I'd be arrested if I set foot on the property. The three workers inside the office saw what was in my storage unit and did everything they could to push me out of it so I would have no choice to leave my things. They ambushed me the Friday before my next rent payment was due so they could get my things. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT A PUBLIC STORAGE EMPLOYEE HAS DONE THIS. Search for public storage inside thieves or just public storage in general and you'll see all kinds of things they do to people who have good things. I lost my entire life on April 29, 2022 and paid them thousands of dollars to store a lifetime of items. I will not stop reviewing or talking people out of renting from them. And I plan to do whatever I can to KILL their stock, starting with the $4.00 dividends they are paying out right now. They messed with the wrong lady....

Put in a request to get my lock fixed on my unit it’s been almost 2 months and still isn’t fixed. No one is ever in the office to even have that person to person interaction about anything.

ZERO STARTS!! Horrible experience. Made a reservation a week in advance and tried to pay online and it did not give me the option to. Tried to download the app and would it take any of my emails or phone number. I called to change my reservation date and left 3 voicemails and when finally able to get in contact with someone after 4 calls the lady tells me it’s okay for me to come the next day. I come and rent a U-Haul (keep in mind I’m also helping my sister move since we were living together) no one was in the office waited 30 mins and while on the phone with customer support they advised my unit was given away! So of course I made a new reservation in another location and had to pay way more than I was quoted. I’m so upset on how everything was handled especially since I’ve tired my best to communicate and get things squared away prior to arriving with the u haul. Called when I couldn’t access the app, called when I had to change my reservation date, called morning of moving, and called upon arrival. Everything just went so wrong. Horrible horrible service!!

This storage unit facility will mistake you unit and cut your locks without asking leaving you to replace them. I would not recommend this facility.

I would like to get a one star to this storage facility. I have been using the storage company for the last five years. About a month ago. Some lady named Brenda, who is part of public service told me that my unit was mistaken for somebody else’s. Then proceeds to tell me that my bill has not be paid in the last 3 months. It was very very shocking to me when she called me and asked, did I still have my storage there? I asked for compensation for my troubles, because this was not my fault. Then a week later someone calls me to tell me that my storage room lock has been cut. It has been that way for a week. They told me that I needed to come in and replace it with a new lock. I called Brenda back and she had a very nasty attitude. I have been calling public storage to speak to a supervisor and I have not heard back. I am not happy with public storage, especially for the monthly fee that I’m being charged.

Ms. Dee, the manager, was such a sweetheart. She offered us snacks while we waited and had excellent customer service. The only thing that was off was they put the wrong lock in the unit, and the type of unit we have will only fit a specific style of lock. Other than that, everything else was smooth.

Storage unit price has increased $40/month in just a year which is a little ridiculous. Not one person I know with a unit with other companies have had such an increase.

We've stored our camper here since 2012 with no issues (rates increased by $15, no biggie). Husband checked camper on March 10th, all good. We received a call from front office today asking if we still want to rent the lot. ?? Ummm, yes. Thought that was an odd question so husband drive over there to inquire..... our lot was empty, camper stolen. To whoever stole it, its a material object it can be replaced. The thing that really makes us sad it that my husband kept a leather journal, and documented each and every trip we took with our daughters. I would do anything to get that back.

At this location if you have an issue ask for the property manager her name is Teeming... she is very people oriented and will try to take care of you to the best of her ability... If it's within her power she would definitely try to help you!

Was there for 6+ months....gates were always run over by trucks or cars not paying attention....they were slow to repair which is a security issue for a storage facility. Also paid on the 1st of November and then found a place to move to and I was disappointed they wouldn’t return my money and prorate the 9 days I was there! Since knowing this policy of not prorating I will find a storage facility in the future which prorated your move out....they do it when you move in! Why should it be different when you move out????

I went to another storage company just up the road because of the lack of professionalism from three women in the front office. They were disrespectful, unprofessional, and not willing to provide any type of beneficial service to me or my brother. No one was present during their appointed hours for over an hour and a half, despite having a scheduled meet and greet. Pass on this storage complex for another in the area.

Unfortunately I feel as though a one star rating is too gracious for this place. I initially had an appointment (made days in advance) at 11 am to get my storage unit. I drove over an hour to make it to my appointment and arrived to construction being done on their leasing office. I then noticed the trailer located near by with a sign that said they would return at 12:30???? Confused I asked the people standing near by if they had an appointment too. To my surprise they were actually managers of the construction that was going on at the property and had been waiting on the public storage employees since they left at 9:45 (mind you the office opens at 9:30)!!! I then decided to call the place just in case there was anyone inside the trailer to answer the phone, only to receive no answer. At around 11:45 I get a call from public storage telling me I missed my appointment. After explaining that I had ACTUALLY BEEN THERE and called meanwhile their "office" was vacant and no one answered my call I explained that I could be there around five due to my commute. After packing up my car with belongings I drove to public storage and arrived around a quarter past five. I walked into the trailer and immediately was put face to face with three employees who were so off putting that in questioning how they even landed a position in customer service. After telling them I had an appointment they then argued back and forth about who had done the most leases that day and who would have to help me. They then proceeded to act as if their computer system was down and that they couldn't help me. Feeling intimidated and unwelcomed I said that I would come back a different time or find somewhere else and left. My father , whom happens to be paying for the unit, then called public storage (prior to their stated closing time) and they didn't answer. After calling again they answered and began to say their absence in the AM was due to a company meeting-- if that IS the case the only professional thing to do is to call and tell a customer WITH AN APPOINTMENT that you will not be there. The lady on the phone then continued to talk over my father and claimed to not be able to find the managers number after he asked to get it. So disappointed with this service. save your money.

Tamika was very helpful yesterday with my rental. She went above and beyond to make sure I was able to rent the space we needed that day, as I was leaving town, and the space I needed wan't ready. I really appreciated her wanting to make sure we got want we needed. A typical employee would have just used it as an excuse not to have to work. Tamika truly cared about taking care of the customer.

This is probably one of the best experiences I've had with any storage facility. The level of personal service was outstanding. Siobhan was very professional, knowledgeable and personable and ensured that I got exactly the size storage unit I really needed. I highly recommend this facility.

Obtaining a storage unit here was simple to do. I made my reservation on line. Called the next day to verify the unit was available and was greeted by April who was friendly and helpful. When I stopped by the next day to pay my deposit, she and Navara happily greeted me and quickly processed my contract. They answered any questions I had and took me to see the unit even though it was cold and raining. They were positive and professional. Office was clean and my unit appeared to be in good condition and ready for my move in. Thanks Ladies for being the sunshine on such a dreary day!

All I can say is you need to safe guard your belongings like back in the midevil days cause people always seem to end up stealing your belongings from this establishment.

Would not recommend this location, horrible experience. They had me come to the office twice to rent a unit over a three week period. When I arrived for the appointments, I was told the unit was in a state of needing maintenance and they wouldn't rent it to me. Once the repairs were complete, I was informed it would be another 1 1/2 weeks for the auction winner to empty the unit. I had to keep calling to get a status on the unit. The property is NOT well managed, avoid it, they'll waste your time.

Just rented a unit from April today. She was very friendly and took the time to show me several units until I was happy I would have enough space for my things. The office was very clean and products were well displayed.

Came in to inquire information about storage. I had no idea of what size a was needing. Courtney went through and asked me questions pertaining to the number of rooms I told her I had. I rented a storage today and I was surprised how good service is oveder Jarita was assisting me and helped me with everything answered on all my questions she is the best I would recommend this storage to everybody it is the best expirience in my life thank you very much!!!

Heard a lot of good things about this location from the pricing to the staff. I found myself needing storage as we are doing updates to our kitchen. My friend referred me to the pineville location and I am happy they did. The girl at the front office, Coco, was extremely helpful in finding me a space suitable for my things. I saved a lot of money on my 1st months rent and it's just a month to month basis which is great since I plan on being out in a few months. If you're looking for a facility where you know your items will be safe and secured and can rely on getting wonderful customer service every time you go in, go to public storage in Pineville. You won't regret it.

Disrespectful. Cut locks off with no reasons and tell you are late even when you pay 1 week early .

Horrible facility. Gate broken often so security sucks. Oh and if for whatever reason your 20 days late with payment they cut your lock off and open your unit. So make sure yourself or loved ones don't end up fighting for life in a hospital because they're looking to auction your stuff and they couldn't care less. The girls in the office are great though. Will be moving to another facility post haste. Hope to see the pseudo tough guy in a more private setting so I can explain why he's such a piece if excrement. Maybe show him just how not tough he is. Lol jk. Seriously though I've been there for well over a year almost 2. No excuse for that kind of treatment. Loan sharks are more forgiving.

Great experience with Courtney. She made the process simple and pleasant. The price on the unit was great compared to others in the area. The staff made sure I got exactly what I needed in a timely fashion.

Been promising those beautiful young ladies a review and I finally completed before leaving out the office. The staff that works at this location is awesome. Coco is a great property manager and as well as one of the newbies that was there with her Naja, could not tell she just recently got out of training. DEFINITELY Recommend everyone to get a storage unit from one of the 1,000+ storage units site. The price is reasonable, staff is knowledgeable and they are located in a good area.

Stop by this location to check out a few different size units. Throughout the showing process Naja and CoCo was amazing. Definitely will be back to rent one if those units.

IMPORTANT: This is supposed to be gated storages, but gates have been wide open 24/7 for past 3weeks. Staff keeps giving lame excuses about its malfunction. So if you care nobody coming here at night and steal your stuff because gates are open 24/7, than choose another place. On the other hand: Courtney was wonderful and welcoming at customer service. Anytime you come here ask for her. She will make sure that your move is as smooth as possible. You won't be disappointed.

Biggest dump around.....terrible facility......climate control ...what a joke. My unit leaked and ruined over 10K in furniture...The Managers on site couldn't care less

April had Great Customer Service!!!

They are all nice at the beginning, then you discover Rats by the dumper, everybody access from always open gates, my brother got all his landscaping equipment stolen. Research all brake ins in the location (sheriff website). If they ask you to leave a review after signing in.... don't do it, wait until your second month.... The lady manager will not be a bit sorry after you get robbed she admits is kind of normal.

Went there today and coco helped me out with my account and other issues ..you guys are awesome Great job and thanks again.

Wanda went above my expectations. I came in just to see sizes and prices. She showed me a couple different sizes explained the specials that they were having, merchandise specials. This place looks dirty and very insecure, The gate stays open for days or weeks, anybody can have access to the building. Very scary after 7pm.

The service staff was thorough, helpful, and friendly. The process was straight forward and efficient.

I was looking for a storage place and the one I decided on didn't have a big enough space but recommended public storage. So I went ahead and used public storage. Yvonne was so friendly and helpful. The paper work was quick and easy and the space perfect!!

Very easy process to obtain storage space. Yvonne was very nice and super helpful. Also, it was a pleasant surprise that she was from the same EXACT city/state that I relocated from. If you need storage space and friendly service, see Yvonne. I'm recommending this place to others.

I visited this location earlier in the week and I was amazed by the service given to me by Courtney, Mike, and Eric. I did not know which unit I needed but they were able to not only point me in the right direction, but also made sure I knew exactly what I was getting with each option. I think this is one of the best locations one could go to. Last Friday I went it was first time and I was kind of lost, so I had to ask a lot of questions. Thank you to the young lady that helped me out I believe her name was Kaylah she was an awesome sport to me, I felt that she gave me good customer service and made me feel like I wasn't being a bother for asking so many questions.

Definitely prefer and recommend this location for storage. April and Michalela helped me move out of 1 unit into a bigger unit and it was very easy. These girls are awesome! I had a unit at the Fort Mill location on Charlotte Hwy and they were charging me double and when I ran into trouble making a payment for 1 month they cut my lock off and wouldn't allow me access. I moved out of Fort Mill to this location and LOVE IT!!

Great location and excellent staff. From the moment I called to the minute I walked in the door, Liz took care of my needs. Rates are very reasonable compared to other storage places on the south side of Charlotte. This location is very safe and conveniently located. I've pretty much had a great experience with all the staff, Coco, Michaela and Ryan. They all at some point have given me a ride to my unit. The staff definitely goes above and beyond to accommodate the customer.

Great price and location for our needs. Customer service was great. Security was good. Stalls were little tight and should rent locks not make customer purchase locks. But all in all it fit our needs.

Amazing facility and even better people!! After a particularly annoying experience at the Uhaul place down the street I made a quick phone call to Public Storage and everything was solved. Better prices and a better facility! Coco and Cece were so welcoming and fun to talk with. Coco made it a point to show me each of the available options and talk to me about which ones might be better and why. Not only did I end up with a great spot to park my RV, I also got much more for my money than I would have at the other place. Thank goodness they weren't able to help me over there!

I have been at this location for three years. I started with one locker and currently have five. Each time I needed another space, they worked with me to find the best space for the best price. I have even requested a certain size locker and they would keep a check for a unit coming available that would fit my needs. Coco has been extremely helpful and courteous to my storage needs. She has gone above and beyond my expectations, to assist me. I firmly believe that a great measure of customer service is a repeat customer.
