Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 3743 Battleground Ave, Greensboro, NC

It's pretty well hidden behind a busy car wash and there's no way that there sign is an indication as to where it actually is. For the price it cost, it's not convenient for me ( disabled) and I look forward to getting my things out as soon as possible. For someone else it might be fine.

They have gotten really expensive and gotten rid of all their staff, the office area is pretty much gone. Also, they only have a couple of flat carts to haul big stuff around and they are always in use. Recently switched to a different storage (Bee Safe) because we got a bigger space for much less money and much better service and facilities.

Being able to complete the entire process online made it a piece of cake!

I have never had an issue with my storage unit, but the pricing in the last five years has raised so much that I can't continue to afford it. My 10 x 20 storage unit (w/ Insurance) went from $117 a month to $341 a month. I'm getting to the point where I can move out from roommates and be able to have my stuff out of storage but I can't get myself ahead if my bill continues to rise. I went to go talk to the front desk today to find out that it's a machine that you talk to, not an actual person. That's new to me! Then I come home to use the website and they have a chat box. "All agents are currently unavailable." I'm gonna try calling, but WHERE IS EVERYONE THAT WORKS FOR PUBLIC STORAGE? This is ridiculous to try to get in touch with an actual person. Why is my bill rising so much when you don't have any employees to talk to? The only recent time that I spoke with someone due to one day late payment because I forgot to update my new card... but again, Can't speak with anyone when you want to reach out to them. I will be finding somewhere else to store my belongings. But I would really like a call from an actual person if this company reads their reviews.

There was an easy transition moving in, the property manager was super helpful as to how we were to move in. You pull up and park exactly in-front of the elevator where there are pulley's available, so it is completely easy the building is nice and cool and very clean. Totally recommend!!

This is my second storage unit, and I chose this one because of the proximity to my house. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, and she took the time to make sure I got exactly what I needed. The space was a little pricier than the one I was in before, but I like the security and location of this one. Highly recommended!

After I decided to reserve a unit today, she covered every possible question and concern, such as hours of access, elevator code, lock operation, insurance, loading carts, parking, and security! I am very pleased to secure this amazing climate-controlled storage unit, and work with Luann in the future! If possible, I would rate both her and this facility higher than a “5!”

It was easy to load and unload our belongings with the use of provided large pallets and the huge covered area that blocked the wind and weather, which I liked very much. The interior was clean and dry and I never worried about safety. As far as service, Luann at the front desk was always a pleasure to work with. Upon seeing the ad for a 10 X 25 storage area at 50% off, I contacted Public Storage (LuAnn) for details. LuAnn clearly and efficiently answered all questions and showed us the rental unit. In less than 30 minutes, I had my needed storage unit..LuAnn was kind and helpful.

Only had this unit from Feb to June 2018. Was quoted 35.00 a month but when we arrived they said that unit wasn't available and gave us another that cost 50.00 instead of 35, the insurance on the unit is not a pay once thing, it is charged every month on your bill and is not optional. We were also charged a late fee almost every month because of when we got paid, we got paid 2 days after the rent was due and the same day we got charged, they then yelled at me saying it was non negotiable and I should have read the contract, however I reserved the first unit online, when we were given the second unit the contract was given to my mother and not even shown to me. Also I should have known better but when we went to the place to rent the unit a water pipe had busted outside the office I didn't think of it at the time, but surely enough by July they were trying to jack up our rate from 50 to 75 a month to cover upkeep to the place. Needless to say we bailed after that, and even after we left the manager was still calling us, harrasing us as well as threatening us. I will never get another storage unit, I'd rather burn my things and start over from scratch every time I move.

At the last storage place I went to, mice got into my unit and chewed up my things. However, this is a very nice facility, and the location and price helped me out in a bind. Luann at the front desk was very helpful and I would recommend Public Storage to anyone with short-term storage needs.

Have had the unit for about 5 months now, have only been late on paying for it by about a week or so after the due date because of when we get payed. Even after 5 to 10 days they have already drilled our lock off and are threatening to sell our things. So then everytime they do that we of course have to buy a new lock. No understanding when it comes to them getting their money, feels like we are renting storage from the mob and they are coming for our fingers next....this storage place is rediculous.
