No staff could be located. The computerized booking contraption was not user friendly, and I couldn’t make it function. Gave up and left. Booked at another storage facility.
Well I’ve read the reviews and I’ll admit that I’m probably wrong on this one but it’s my experience. I buy storage units on auction and in doing that I place bids not knowing if I’ll win that bid or not. Sometimes you are the highest bidder, often you lose to a higher bidder. On this day, I won 3 units, and they allow 48 hours to clean out the units. I also work in the healthcare industry full time and do this as a side gig for fun. The battleground location does not have someone on staff, Luann is covering from Cone. I called and told Luann that with the holiday, and my work schedule I would have everything cleaned out by Saturday, Sunday at the latest. My 48 hours was up on Thanksgiving Day, on Saturday morning, my unit was given to the next bidder. When I called, Luann said well maybe you shouldn’t buy so many units. Like I know how many bids I’m going to win. Not only did I purchase three units, I also rented a unit with public, and I’ve purchased probably 30 units and have a perfect history of cleaning out my units and within an acceptable amount of time, granted not always within the 48 hour window. Most places are willing to work with the auction buyers. We pay up front for our won units. Not only do I lose that unit, I lose the money I paid, and I’m suspended from purchasing other units on that platform. So I see where she may be helpful to some, she was absolutely the most unhelpful person I’ve run into in a long time. Hence the review.
I rented a 10x10 unit on the second floor, and it’s larger than I expected. The space was clean, and the temperature was perfect! It’s also very easy to access and secure. One thing, when I stopped by for help with the kiosk screen, I clicked it so many times, but it just wouldn’t work. I think they need to fix that.

I did everything online the rates was much cheaper than any other storage facility in Greensboro. I selected my rate downloaded the app then the next day moved my stuff in. It was much faster and easier then dealing with an actual person thank you ❤️

The on-line process was very easy. Got the unit we wanted and all billing and paperwork was very efficient. Move I was convenient and the unit was ready and condition was as expected.
Easy to sign up online. You can select your unit from what’s available and get quoted and pay really quickly. They also provide insurance. All in all easy peasy. Even send everything to my phone and you can unlock doors on the app once you start. Very affordable climate controlled units too.
Excellent online experience. Flawless and easy to navigate website. Had a storage unit in less than 30 minutes. Scheduled my move in date and payment online. Storage unit was clean and exactly what was offered. No person required! Directions were very easy to follow.

Absolutely the worse ! My keys fell through the elevator and I was stuck in the building and had to stay over night because this is a “ self serve “ unit . No one cared that I was a female and alone . No one cared that I had no bathroom or anything for hours . I couldn’t Uber or go anywhere be cause my purse was locked in my car and the property manager Lu Ann called me three days later and left a message saying “ did you get your keys “! Then my auto pay was somehow ironically turned off and I get a late fee and this “ wonderful property manager Lu Ann” calls back days later ( per usual ) and says she can do nothing about it , no courtesy waive or anything . She can “ request to get it removed , once I pay “ Not sure why you even have a job because there is nothing you can or have been able to help me with . Do not waste your time with this expensive place . Since it’s self serve no one has to answer or call you or even assist you in anyway .
The online process had a little glitch, but the property manager was accessible and very responsive. Not only was the glitch corrected but she followed up to make sure I knew all was well. I really appreciated that.

It's pretty well hidden behind a busy car wash and there's no way that there sign is an indication as to where it actually is. For the price it cost, it's not convenient for me ( disabled) and I look forward to getting my things out as soon as possible. For someone else it might be fine.
They have gotten really expensive and gotten rid of all their staff, the office area is pretty much gone. Also, they only have a couple of flat carts to haul big stuff around and they are always in use.
Recently switched to a different storage (Bee Safe) because we got a bigger space for much less money and much better service and facilities.
Being able to complete the entire process online made it a piece of cake!
I have never had an issue with my storage unit, but the pricing in the last five years has raised so much that I can't continue to afford it. My 10 x 20 storage unit (w/ Insurance) went from $117 a month to $341 a month. I'm getting to the point where I can move out from roommates and be able to have my stuff out of storage but I can't get myself ahead if my bill continues to rise. I went to go talk to the front desk today to find out that it's a machine that you talk to, not an actual person. That's new to me! Then I come home to use the website and they have a chat box. "All agents are currently unavailable." I'm gonna try calling, but WHERE IS EVERYONE THAT WORKS FOR PUBLIC STORAGE? This is ridiculous to try to get in touch with an actual person. Why is my bill rising so much when you don't have any employees to talk to? The only recent time that I spoke with someone due to one day late payment because I forgot to update my new card... but again, Can't speak with anyone when you want to reach out to them. I will be finding somewhere else to store my belongings. But I would really like a call from an actual person if this company reads their reviews.

I have rented various size units at this location for 14 years. The facility is always clean, and the manager, LuAnn, is quite helpful and easy to work with. If I ever need another storage unit, I will rent there again.

There was an easy transition moving in, the property manager was super helpful as to how we were to move in. You pull up and park exactly in-front of the elevator where there are pulley's available, so it is completely easy the building is nice and cool and very clean. Totally recommend!!

This is my second storage unit, and I chose this one because of the proximity to my house. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, and she took the time to make sure I got exactly what I needed. The space was a little pricier than the one I was in before, but I like the security and location of this one. Highly recommended!
