Signed up for storage with a contract that was supposed to be for life 2 weeks later was bought out by Public Storage and the dumpsters were locked even though was part of contract and the price went up 115.00 for the same space. Public Storage is the worst company I have ever dealt with stay away at all costs.

RENT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.. It is not a secure facility - Had a vehicle stolen from the paid parking and the management is clueless - No working security cameras or gate. Apparently, the gate is too expensive for them to fix so they aren't bothering with it. That would have been nice to know before signing a contract Smh
If you read the reviews, most of them are posted at least 5 months ago, or more. I found out in a rather insidious way that Second Attic is now Simply Storage. My original contract was through Second attic, and neither company notified me of the change of ownership. My old contract was supposed to be automatically debited from my account - which it was up to 9/29/22. I take full responsibility for not looking at my bank account, and assuming good will on either company's part that they'd notify customers of new ownership, price changes, etc. They did not and now the new Simply Self Storage wants to stiff me with a whopping $704.00 bill!!!!
After shifting through emails, mail, etc., I could NOT FIND ONE NOTIFICATION of a change or contract, although the new manager claims they did. Proof??? It's amazing that once I informed the manager about not being notified, I've started receiving calls, mail, and email - proof that they've had my info the whole time.
After being upset about the whole ineptness of Simply Storage, I informed the manager I would pay the $584 she told me was due by the 2/1/23. I called to verify the price, only to be informed that there's another $200 for processing!!!??? WHAT!!!???
I'm now waiting on a call from the corporate office and plan to pursue any legal action I can take if this isn't rectified. So far, this company is ripping people off!! Whatever merger they had with Second Attic was obviously not handled well. All the manager could say was that she "heard" the mail in Overland wasn't the best -

Second Attic can provide all of your storage needs at a fair price. The units are clean and easily accessible with 24hr access! They will also work with any issues you may have. Tina is very knowledgeable and friendly and can help with any questions or issues you have concerning storage! I would recommend checking them out

A 4×8 costs $78.00. $78!!! The gate rarely works. Random people walk around trying locks. The people are disorganized. This place needs to just be torn down.
Response to owner. This is a great way to act as people aren't your customers to get out of bad reviews. Please check storage # 559 that pays your outrageous fee. Look at the name on that card. Am I a customer now? Or are you going to act like bad reviews aren't customers. I mean great business tactic but wrong for the people who would want to know.
It's always been a clean convenient and hassle free place to keep my stuff at friendly helpful staff and good security .
I am satisfied and well impressed with the service provided by The Second Attic Mini Storage! They are super friendly, professional, and responsive to the tenants. They are capable, and ready to solve your storage needs.
First impressions are not always best. And resolution is a huge deal. After speaking with management and working out some details I definitely needed to update my review.
I have had several more interactions with the manager and found her both helpful and responsive.
I am currently storing here and will be for a while.
The problems I had were addressed quickly and personally and I appreciate the service and level of concern
