Rates have doubled in the 18 months I've had the unit, beware!
The property manager at this location apparently closed out our unit on clairmont road without notifying us. We now have no access to our unit, we are locked out. We never requested to close out our unit and your payments are up to date.
We came over to this location today and there were no one.

Update on my review from a few weeks ago. Extremely disappointed with this property manager as we didn't receive a phone cal,l a voicemail, a text or even an email apologizing for all the stress anxiety we were put through by this property manager. If you ask me this property manager don't care two bits about the people who uses public storage.

Came here twice because they needed to verify my ID before accessing my unit I paid for online. Both times no one was in the office. I waited 30 mins the second time and no one came. Called customer service and was instructed to go to a different location. I asked can you confirm someone will be in the office, so we don’t have the same issue and he stated “I don’t have a crystal ball”. There was obviously no regard for our time and he was rude. I was then told I couldn’t get a full refund, when this was not my fault. If the staff is not going to be in the office they should schedule appointments to ensure new customers are taken care of. I ended up going to the place next door and was serviced immediately.

One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. The access code we were given would not work, and there was no one working at the property to assist us. Over-the-phone customer support sent us to another location to get help. The employee at the other location claimed to “fix” the problem, but when we drove back to this location we still faced the same problem. We were sent to a third location, which also claimed to assist us, but that did not work. When we asked for a refund, phone customer service refused to refund the admin fee despite all of the issues on their end. Wasted 3 hours of our day just to end up not being able to access the storage unit.

While the staff is friendly, this unfortunately does not make up for the poor condition of some of the units. I was assigned a unit that had black mold, was covered in dust, and had a broken divider at the top, allowing easy access from the adjacent unit. This was a very disappointing experience and a clear example of inadequate storage conditions. I do not recommend this facility and am puzzled by how it has received such positive reviews.
Ro was fantastic and helped guide me through a difficult process. Would definitely recommend if she's working. She made it so easy and was very kind to explain and help.
The customer service has been extremely good and helpful to me and I would recommend this location to anyone in need of needing storage, this location is a safe location as well.

Tried to move out on my last day of one whole month of storage to find out they got news doors and locks and didn't tell me. SO I couldn't move out. They are insisting that I pay another months rent because I couldn't come back the next day. They property manager seemed to agree to a 4 day timeline but that was a lie. They gave me a whole $25 credit but I still have to give them one hundred dollars because they didn't communicate.
The property manager will scam you.
Corporate refunded me after calling them five times.

Have been storing at this location since summer 2020. I went by the other day to pick up the new keys to my unit as they've been renovating the property. I was very impressed with the improvements and the new doors are beautiful! Y'all have done a great job cleaning up the place, and Ro was a pleasure to meet! Keep up the good work, thanks.
Ro in the office was so wonderful. She helped me transition to a bigger unit in a matter of minutes and was lovely to work with!

Public storage at North Druid Hills is absolutely one of the best facilities that I have used for my Real Estate and Interior Design business. Ro, one of the property managers there was extremely helpful with my leasing of space as well as reserving new space. Please do not come here. This place is infested with rats. Rat poop is all in my storage roaches roaches are everywhere in every box I have the insulation is falling down. I have asthma and I can’t go in there and get my stuff out because the insulation has fell down from up above and it’s an everything I own everything is ruined, and they will not make it right. Please don’t go here.
The management at the Druid Hills location is very difficult to reach. Have to leave voice mail messages and wait for a callback. Public Storage charged extra fees on the storage rental when vacated/moved out even though the monthly rental had been paid in full.
I stored my stuff here for a summer. I left a 1 star review and they tried to close my account, so I changed it to 3 stars, but now that I'm not using them I'm putting it back to 1 star. 1 star because they closed early on multiple occasions and I couldn't access my stuff. Like half an hour to an hour before their closing time and no one was there to help us.
reserved my unit over the phone arrived the next day no one in office was sent to another location to pay and receive my gate code went back and could not access unit because gate code did not work someone else let me in accessed unit and was wet inside gate code did not work when I went to leave had to wait for someone to let me out went back to other location and was refunded I ended up renting at METRO SELF STORAGE next door to this location GREAT EXPERIENCE thus far😊
Customer service at this particular location was awesome. I dealt with a young lady named Ms.Tasheba M. who was very helpful and made my visit a very easy and smooth. I will be continuing to using this location.
Overall, I would recommend this Public Store facility, even though it has some things that I consider flaws in some areas/Parts of the facility which I will highlight in this review as well.
My personal experience, including my storage unit is great and I have no complaints so far. I would say the highlights of my experience are the following: 1) that I was able to quickly book the storage unit online in which I received a storage unit number, gate access through the app and also a gate code; 2) On the move in date, I didn’t have to meet or wait for anyone, I was just able to move right in on my own into the a well maintained storage unit with “welcome” brochures and a free Lock. 3)The office worker Tasheba has been great at answering my questions (which I’ve had many) but she’s been very patient, helpful, friendly, and welcoming, with my constant bothering (Thank You for dealing with me Tasheba!). As I stated, in my personal experience, I have no complaints about my unit and the staff.
The flaws I want to highlight about the facility from my viewpoint are such: 1) when it rains, some storage units are flooded with water at the entrance due to the slanted pavement. 2) this particular flaw might be just me thinking too highly of storage units, but I saw a couple units that were not well maintained, in my opinion respectively. 3) I would not recommend the bathroom, but full disclosure, I am a slight clean freak and I also attempted to use the bathroom only once.
Summary: do not use this storage unit service if you value your time.
Though I have only just opened up a space at this location, the service has already exceeded my expectations. Christine is informative, kind, and thorough with the unit-rental process and payments. The unit itself looked adequately cleaned and maintained. There were some signs of damage (door opening mechanism is slightly rusted and bent), but it is expected in such humid environment. So far, I am pleased.
Update 1: I’ve had recent issues with never having my call returned, and today (a Thursday, not a holiday) I am disappointed to find that no one is even in the office. It is now an hour past opening, and I’ve been sitting outside waiting for any type of assistance. I rented a hand truck for the day and don’t want to waste my money due to Public Storage’s negligence.
It’s almost night and day from the type of quality service I received when I first started renting. I will update later if this type of thing persists, but consistency is key.
Update 2: After lunch, I managed to speak with a representative who handled what I needed quickly. One thing to note: I paid for an entire months rent of a 10X10 unit, and midway through the month moved to a smaller 5x10 unit (this is why I wanted to speak with an advisor). Interestingly, despite the smaller unit being cheaper per month and despite me already having paid the for the more expensive unit that month, I was still charged. Granted it only cost 77 cents, but I was still confused as to why. When I asked the advisor, he said he wasn’t sure why either but it wouldn’t allow him to continue with the transfer until I paid - so I paid.
The new smaller unit has a functioning light and clean interior, which is about all one can ask for in a storage unit.
Update 3: The following day I was contacted by the district manager, Sean, who was very apologetic and understanding of the situation. He explained that they had a mandatory meeting that day and someone must have forgotten to put up a sign explaining that at the front (mistakes happen). I appreciate him reaching out, and I foresee no more problems like this reoccurring.
Though I’m not completely over the situation that occurred (hence 4 out of 5), I don’t think this situation is common enough to warrant too harsh a review. I will continue to update this review as only time will tell.

This is the fourth time I’ve come in to pay for my unit, and the third time that no one has been in the office AT THEIR POSTED AVAILABILITY. I recommend not using this facility if you need to come in person to their office. Also, the code they gave me to the door DOES NOT WORK. This facility is an absolute joke. DO NOT USE.

The experience that i received at the public storage on 3375 N druid hills rd prompted me to write a review. The manager Tasheba assisted me with a storage unit for the first time. Tasheba was outstanding, gave great service and explained the policy of renting. I felt very comfortable and at ease. Tasheba really knows what it takes to run a storage facility and deliver world class service to every customers. If i ever need to rent another unit, it will definitely be at this location.

I love coming to this Public Storage. The best of many. The associate Christine she is so amazing and so friendly. She makes me feel at home. Every question I have she always there to assist. Christine is awesome! She was very personable and helpful showing me unit options and working to make sure I got a unit that best fit my needs. Unfortunately, one we looked at hadn't been cleaned, but Christine made sure to find one that was move-in ready for me.

Insulation is falling all over my stuff, I’ve found roaches in my unit. Somehow leaves and natural debris end up blown into my unit, so everything is covered with dirt and debris. I’m really frustrated that I just received notice they are jacking the price up $40/month. Not to mention I arrive to the facility at 7:20am and the gate is not working. No number that I called was able to help or open the gate. I will be moving my stuff soon and I advise others to not store items here.
Updated 4/20/22: Public Storage has promptly addressed my complaint regarding the gate not working and have worked to make the situation right.
This is my second time meeting Christine and as always she was a pleasure. I had a situation where I couldnt get my app to work and she help me redownload the app and she took her time to answer all the questions I have. I know myself I can be very difficult at times but she kept a smile on her face and reassured me she was here to help me. It’s nice to see you :-) in the front of the desk I really hope to see her here more. It is hard to find good customer service and you can tell she has it keep her around definitely will be recommending my aunt to rent

At any given time of day they are never in the office to receive payments. It is so unprofessional to never be available. Literally anytime of day morning afternoon or close to closing time an agent is not there. I do hope they improve this inconvenience. The photo displayed says 930 but it’s 1027 and no one is here.
