Our storage space was broken into. 3 pieces of luggage were stolen. 1 piece of luggage was ripped open & all clothes were lying scattered. Boxes were broken into & damaged. Got to know that There is no sensor to track when door was opened as was requested by Irvine PD. The lock was not broken, which again left us amazed. Also 1 of the associates named Cristina was extremely rude, unprofessional & seems like she hates Indians. She was not willing to listen & was very unfair in her dealing. All other associates were very professional & helpful. We sincerely hope the culprit is brought to justice as its all very stressful & particularly some of the items were priceless memories. The insurance claim is again a long process (even though we have been paying for it the last 3 yrs)

David was incredible! I wanted to move into a different unit because my original one had an AC unit that took up a bit of space. He was so kind and accommodating and immediately moved me at the same rate. I’ve had a great experience so far.

They close way to early 5/6 pm. Very unconvenient makes it hard to grab items out of storage. I was having issues with the app where it wasn't letting my payments go through. Called and found out you can not do a payment over the phone, but instead, you have to go personally and make the payment. Very confusing process all throughout. They don't even have a cart of some sort to help move some items around. 🙄

This storage facility is super clean and in a very safe area. I forgot my keys (or so I thought I did) when I went to move out. Bryanna did everything she could to help me fix the issue. Horrible company to rent with! There is no one at the property to help me when I visit, and when I call to try to talk to somebody at the property, I get sent to voice mail and get no call backs. I even try to call customer service to help me with my rental increase and all I get is rejection after rejection with no sympathy of what is going on in my life and how I can barely pay what I'm paying now. It's bad enough that I already OVER PAY for the unit that I'm renting now by $200 ($300 with the rent increase) when I can just move into the same unit, for the same size, right next to me. Why would you increase my rental when nothing has changed to improve the facility? There's no one in the office for me to speak to on the property, no security or safety measures in place to secure everyone's belongings, and now I have to pay more for less? This is ridiculous.

The Public storage on Cowan is the utmost worst. Our bill went from approx $180 a month to $400 a month. I need to transfer the unit ownership over to another and have been given the complete run around. I was told by one employee that it was impossible to do. Then I was told by another that whoever told me no, was being lazy. I show up with the other person to do the transfer and of course the office person decided to leave without leaving any type of notice on the door as when they can be expected back. What a waste of my time. I left a message and received a call back 40 minutes later. I show up yet again to transfer the account only to be told that the new owner would be billed twice if we transfer today. I am beyond irate. I have been there multiple times since December with no resolution.

We get an email stating "As a benefit to our customers, we routinely do the rounds to make sure each space is properly locked. During our recent inspection, we found that Space XXXX was unlocked or improperly locked. Unfortunately, we can’t lock your space for you. Please come to the property as soon as possible to secure your lock — and everything you’ve stored in your space." We arrive 30 mins later to see they have in fact locked us out of our unit... cancelling immediately.

I got a perfect storage space for my needs thanks to Brianna’s professional and friendly service! Lease terms are also competitive.

Its a nice place and the staff is friendly.....the only thing I do not like is the hours which is 930am to 6 I wish I would have payed more attention to the hours before I moved my things in its hard to make it there after work when I get off at 5pm But other than that its great.

Got a storage unit over the weekend from Susana Oliver (floating manager). First of all, when she called to set up a time to meet, she was so nice and knowledgeable. I told her I’d come in later that evening and called to confirm that I’ll be there. She was pleasant, professional and even brought over the moving cart they have so that I can load everything in one shot. She had to get it from the other side of the storage buildings and did with a huge smile. The next day I had to come back to bring more stuff. I told her I’d be there in the evening as well. She went out of her way to call me and make sure I make it in because they closed at 5pm on Sunday. I was going to show up at 5! That was so nice of her. If she hadn’t done that, I would’ve had to wait until the following weekend to bring the rest of our stuff. When I came in on Sunday, I asked to swap my unit for another since the lock latch was kind of messed up on the first one I had reserved. She did it, no problem. She also brought the cart AGAIN for us. She was kind, professional, knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Especially because, when you are coming to a storage unit, you’re usually spring cleaning or organizing, and really tired. It’s usually the last step you take right before your project is done. She made everything so easy. Thank you so much Susana.

I've used this storage for almost 2 years and first they seem to care and are nice to you but when you try to reach them, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get help or communicate since there is no one at the office nor on the line. I've used different Public Storage locations yet this one was the worst experience. Wood floors, old and no strong AC. It works for the price but if you need to frequently go and check your stuff or just to even talk to the property manager, you will have a hard time. Needs more staff or someone on site at least.

Bryanna basically runs this place and does it with ease. Perfect service.

I rent a unit 🔐at this facility🚫but the rent recently went 🆙 like✡️ $15💸 more a month for everyone then a couple weeks later 🗓️they cut the hours of access by like 2 hrs🕑 so now we are paying more $💲 to be able to access our belingings from 10 am till 5pm...🤔 😡I don't even get off work😴 till 5pm needless to say.. +++++ UPDATE. NOT ONLY DO THEY CLOSS REALLY EARLY STILL BUT EVEN WHEN THEY ARE OPEN THERE IS NOONE AT THE DESK JUST A CONSTANT "BE RIGHT BACK" SIGN. & THEY WONT LET ME PROCESS PAYMENTS ONLINE BECAUSE OF MY CARD DECLINED ONCE SO NOW IM PAST DUE THE CODE WONT LET ME IN THE GATE TO ACCESS MY THINGS AND I CANT EVEN PAY THEM CASH MY THINGS GOING TO GO TO AUCTION & THERE NOTHING I CAN DO HERE! THEY PRETTY MUCH ATTEMPTING TO STEAL MY STUFF! CROOKS

The facility is about what you'd expect - these places are all the same... EXCEPT, I've never rented one before with such inconvenient gate hours. 9:30-5 on weekends and 9:30-6 on weekdays. Can't go before work, can't go after work. If you are even 1 minute after 5PM leaving the facility you get an electronic warning email and a text. Would not recommend if you are employed and are trying to move yourself on your own time.

Best storage I've had so far, Bryanna at the front desk was very friendly and professional at the same time, she explained everything to me throughly and made sure that I'm getiing the right size, highly recommended!

I have two units at this facility. When I started the gate hours began at 6:00am. There was a problem with the gate and the facility apparently used that as an excuse to cut opening hours back to 9:30am. Despite assurances that the old opening time would return, it remains the same. This reduces the value of the facility, and makes no sense, especially considering the other Public Storage facilities in the area have gate hours starting at 6:00am.

Had a storage unit here for a little over a year. They were easy to work with and always really nice whenever I called or came in. The unit itself was spacious and walkway / hall was always extremely clean and smooth. Moving out of town so had to move out of this space. Manny helped me out and was very helpful. I would recommend this if you need a good storage unit.

Manny and Adam really know how to keep their customers content. Everytime i come to pay i get greeted and welcomed, and they know me by my nickname here already. I always see them cleaning and during these trying times, they are working with their customers on discounting rent and offering great sign up deals! I have referred many of my close ones here soley for the service provided, and would not use any storage elsewhere! 10 stars to Manny and the personnel here!

Public Storage is NOT “doing their part”. They are refusing to work with their customers who have been negatively impacted by COVOD-19, charging late fees, imposing lock-outs, placing liens & scheduling auctions. Customer service and management are non-responsive and refuse to make any concessions or compromises during a global pandemic. To quote the regional manager who finally responded after 3 weeks, “this (COVID-19) does not change the terms of your lease.” Shame on you for being greedy and refusing to help those who are in desperate need.

Reserved online and Tammy checked us in and had us finished in 30 minutes. Tammy was wonderful! Great facility too!

I moved into a storage unit at the end of April 2019, I then received a notice in Sept. notifying me that the rent is going up $35. per month (+ $11. insurance) in Oct. 2019, less than half a year (within 6 months) they are raising my rent shortly after moving in. Raising the rent on a unit within 6 months is bad practice, $420. more per year if I kept the storage unit.

Horrible customer service. At first contact, they were super nice, but the minute they take your money, it turns into a distant we dont care attitude. They close intermittently without notice except a sign on the door even though they have email and telephone numbers, they forward you to the district manager to leave a message and a return call has never happened. They have a filthy restroom and rarely keep the property clean and cleared of trash, dust and leaves. Horrible place. I will never do business with public storage again. Dont let the fresh paint fool you, the environment is amazingly horrible. If you dont want to be able to access your things, store them here.

Clean facility, good location. $1 move in special is a joke afterv$14 insurance and 1 time $35 move in charge a $60 a month unit costs $61 as lso $20 for circle lock and your looking to spend close to $75 for a advertised $1 move in special.. if that ain't a bait and switch I am not sure what is...
