Rented a unit and was told my rate will never change. Well it went up anyways and i was told they can't do anything about it. Also there is almost never anyone in the office to pay my rent. Stay away from this place if you can!

Another upcharge, 2 years 4th one. Never missed any payments. Now I pay a ridiculous amount for this storage locker. Will be moving my things out of here.
The entire experience with this place has been awful, no justification for the upchrages.

haven't moved my things been here about 3 years now. Got another increase today. After my last review they called me and offered to review and adjust my rate. Not a hour later I got a email saying they declined it.
With this new rate my monthly charge will be $268 for rent and $15 for insurance. Bring this to a total of $283 a month for a 10x20 storage locker.
Worst storage facility... offer a low rate at first and then once or stuff is there they jack the price up continually every few months... complete scam I would give zero stars if I could
Ashanti went beyond helping us with our storage selection at a great price! Stayed past closing until we finished all the sign up forms,etc. Highly recommend.
Situation started out rocky. But the manager helped and went above and beyond to help me. It was very much appreciated. As a special needs mom he really came through to help me out.

Was on the fence about continuing my rental and then Sandra’s customer saved the day. She’s awesome and should be recognized as such.
Lot really needs a good sweeping and going over with a magnetic roller lots of debris to get caught in a tire.
Experience began with an entire row of lights in our unit's area that were out, which made seeing in the unit at night impossible without a phone flashlight. Lightbulb in the actual unit itself was also out. Called the phone number several times during "open" hours and left two voicemails. Never received any call back, nor were the lights replaced.
Experience ended with moving out before the last monthly billing period and still getting billed for a month I did not use.
Will edit review to 5 stars if and when the July 2nd payment is refunded.

The manager of today from today's review who was on the floor needs to get fired. She had not taken my case seriously. She even went as far as to not answer the phone after many failed attempts were made to pay my rent do to a technical problem on their end. The woman I forget her name has wasted so much of my time by not knowing what she can do to help. She needs to be fired. If she is not fired she needs to be penalized in her pay. She has no idea what it means to be manager. Managers do not give up on people. There is many types of people in this world. Not all people have a normal standing mental health. I suffer from rage. My phone is broken now because she did not take into account of what it means to really help people no matter their mental standing. She is not manager material. I am upset!

Horrible staff, the manager is totally unprofessional, and is never in the office. (She lives above the office) and they have raised the rate two times without my consent or notifying me. Never, will I ever use a public storage anywhere due to the unprofessional staff and making me feel like I have to jump through hoops to get to my stuff I stored.

I’m paying $233/mo for a 10x15 unit. I was just informed that as of December 1, the cost will go up by $23. I’m out! There’s nothing special about the unit. It’s not temp controlled but outside exposed to the elements. I am finding many units of the same size at better storage facilities that cost less than $150.
Goodbye and good riddance to this Public Storage. The manager or whatever she is has the personality of a rock.

Signed up for storage at Public Storage on a Saturday being assured that we could also move in on Saturday. Series of unfortunate events that weren't really the company's fault... I wasn't able to get the access code for the gate. After MANY many phone calls to various locations, offices and customer service... FINALLY the amazing Angela was able to give the assistance needed. She went out of her way to make phone calls to her superiors and WE GOT ACCESS! Thank you Angela for going the second mile~ I believe "Excellent Customer Service" is your middle name. If I could give this place- minus 5 stars, I would!!! After 6 months of renting a unit, I get less than 30 days notice that my rent will be raised $36.00 !! Pretty sure this is illegal!! Currently looking for a new storage unit facility to move my stuff to...also filed a complaint with consumer affairs
Bring your own lock or you'll have to pay for theirs. They also automatically enroll you in their insurance program. You have no choice.
Customer service person I had to check in with at the counter was ok. Definitely not rude but also not friendly or very helpful.
***Updated to 1 star. Gate code was confirmed & sent to me via email. It was not "recognized" when we showed up to drop off my thing on moving day. I'm familiar with gate code entry systems and am positive I entered my confirmed code, in the correct format. Nobody on site Saturday the 20th so no help obviously. Sitting with a loaded moving truck until Monday and also had to pay the movers in full... not their fault I wasn't able to access my paid storage unit.

Choose anyone but public storage. Their customer service on a corporate level is absolute garbage the worst Ive ever encountered to be honest. Ive had better luck getting my money refunded by auto-subscription "as seen on dr oz" gimmick supplements. If you have any money coming back to you, be prepared to wait 4-6 weeks for them to ISSUE YOU A CHECK. Clever.... While using the facilities outdoor storage (parking) area I had some parking clearance issues with the tenant in the neighboring space. I don't hold the facility responsible and I notified the staff. The issue persisted and I was grateful to the area manager who stepped in on my behalf to resolve the matter to everyones satisfaction.

Great service. Clean storage
Some of the worst customer service. location was open at 9:30am, went to empty out my unit at 1pm needed employee help to access unit waited at location till 2:45 with no employees arriving. Customer Service just kept transferring me around. Point of a storage unit is to be able to access your property/unit during business/posted hours when needed. I wasted my day off trying to access my own property, and wasted $30 on trailer rental. Amazing right before 1st of month they avoid and make it impossible to empty and end use of their storage units.
I love Public Storage. I’ve been renting a space from them for about 6 months. Every time I have a question the Manager, I believe her name is Sondra, is always there to help and is sooooo nice. I have definitely recommended them to family and friends.
They've raised my rentby more than $100 in less than a year. They don't offer anything extra as compensation for a rental increase. For a fraction of the price I'm going to have to move to a different more reliable storage provider. This is insane.

I never gave them five stars. I posted to warn people that they hired someone who doesn't know how to use a snowplow and he plowed the snow high in front of the storage doors, so you can't get in or get stuff out after a heavy snow. Plus the free month is a lie. You pay all kinds of fees and you have to buy a lock from them. Cost of a free month is well over 100 dollars. Someone got in this and totally changed my review. Be careful.
