Due the passing of our elderly mother we needed to lease storage for the furniture in her nursing home room with little time to move . Sheliah, the rep. for Public Storage, Florence SC worked closely with us with a very tender hearted and warm desire to see that our needs were met. I cannot express the quality and thankfulness of the way she met us and work out the details during this time. I am glad to share with you the quality of the staff and especially Sheliah who went over and above to help us with great quality.

Huge place

Came in this morning, met with Ms. Alyssa. She was absolutely wonderful. Such a sweet lady!! Helped me with getting the right size space!! $1 promo!! Keep up the great work!!

After a few months they doubled my rent. Apparently they can raise your rent once a year. The ceiling fell in on my unit and they didn't offer a discount or voice any concern over my stuff being damaged. Cheaper places that don't bait and switch and have newer facilities that aren't crumbling

Absolutely hideous. 700.00$ catalytic converter was cut off my motorhome while in their supposed "SAFE" FACILITY! I was basically told "too bad"..go to the police...the problem is your problem! The i was charged an additional month after i left their facility! I was told they would refund my money! NEVER HAPPENED! STEER CLEAR! Park at your own risk!!!!

Some employees are nice and some and rude they over charge and almost every time I pull in this place I get a flat tire. The roof caved in on top of my 20x40 unit and ruined almost everything I owned and nothing was done about it and I was the one that had to clean the mess up. Then got fussed and charged for the trash from the roof. I DO NOT suggest this place to anyone.

Went into the public storage to buy boxes for my move. Explained to Barbara that I am moving far away and would be giving a lot of my things away because I couldn't afford to tag them along. Barbara told me that it would be better if I got a small unit to store the things I wanted to keep, she went through space sizes and took me to see a unit and sold me on it. I am very pleased with the service and very happy to have met Barbara very helpful.

I was greeted by the most friendly employee ever when I walked in the door! Mrs. Barbra helped me through the entire process of renting the storage unit. I have enjoyed doing business and thus far and 100% of that is because of the help I got from Barbra; I am looking forward to a positive experience at this facility. The unit itself is large and spacious and well worth the money. If you need a place to put your stuff, this is a good place to come.

I was able to get a storage unit on a Sunday, the day after Christmas. Very easy even the lock was left in unit brand new in box.

Of course I was a last minute customer. Barbara was very helpful, polite and patient. I didn't know for sure what size I needed, how much it would hold, and of course it was close to closing time. She took the time to explain the unit, the insurance and let me feel comfortable about renting the space. No pushy sales pitch.

DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS! I started with this company, based off their "first month free". No small print, so I reserved and showed up with my Uhaul to find that I would be paying over 80.00 that day. Insurance, some fee they made up, and also I HAD to purchase their lock. Due to the situation with having everything in a uhaul, i went ahead and paid. This place has trapped me inside due to the gates that are ALWAYS not working. My door sticks, it's roach infested, and the light inside doesn't work. I sent an email, and no response. They did however contact me when my bill was "late". I paid on the 18th, but according to them, no matter if you purchased on the 31st, you are late if you don't pay on the 1st of each month... I was 2 weeks late, and had been in contact with them about it, i was told it would be 50 dollars, which is insane to begin with for a late fee. 100 dollars at the 2 week date... So, I paid as agreed, before the 2 week mark. I get an email telling me I need to put a lock on my unit. I called, they said they cut my lock to put theirs on... There are 2 spots to put a lock on there! I believe they have stolen some of my things but I can't verify because they wont take theirs off because "it's raining"... I also find out, I was lied to and I didn't need to purchase their 25 dollar lock, the one THEY CUT.. They said it was cut due to it was going to be auctioned in March... IT"S JANUARY! Units are stolen from all the time, and now I am starting to think it's the workers. There was no reason to cut my lock. I have pictures, showing there are more than one places to put the lock, my new lock is now there along with their rusty lock that they refuse to take off, even though I paid the bill hours ago. And I have video of the gate, STILL not opening! Save yourself the stress, and don't let these FRAUDS get you like they did me. Please see the picture as proof there was no need to cut my lock for being 2 WEEKS late, and letting them know I would be late, paying the fee. But again, they cut it in January because if i didn't pay by March it would be auctioned... Let me know when that makes sense to you. Or the other excuse... "We had to cut your lock to put ours on". Look at the pic!

I received exceptional service from Harmon. He waited for me since I was running late to my reservation appointment, showed me two units even though it took an additional 10 min and it was close to closing time.

Mrs Gloria she was very helpful and friendly. She was very patience and understanding. When we decide to rent we are suggesting her. She was just wonderful. And the business was clean and organize.
