Be careful they'll lure you in at a low price and then raise it drastically. I have a 5×10 unit it went from $57 to $83! It's absolutely robbery! There's no cap on how much or how often they can do this. I will never do business with them again.
Public storage will get you with a cheap monthly rate and once you’ve moved in will raise your rent every few months until you can no longer afford it and then they will auction your stuff. Luckily I was able to move out in time but when we moved in it was for about $100 a month and over time increased to $300. We were only there for 2 years and our rent tripled.
They continue to raise prices. My unit has gone up almost 100% in 1 year
Wasn't told online when I rented a storage unit that there would be administrative fees & lock fees on top of my rental price so I was surprised to be charged first $30 & then $21.99 when it said my first month was a dollar. I started the rental on 8/18/26. Now the app says I'll be charged again on 9/1/26 $35.46. I understand it includes insurance & that it's prorated but how does that make my first month only $1. I spoke with a manager at my location who said the $30 is the $1 plus administrative fee & i guess the $21.99 is insurance so why would I even be charged rent on the 1st? I paid the $1 +fees so wouldn't that cover 30 days? How do you justify charging me 14 days later a prorated amount? Also, there is a leak in my unit from a pipe. There was a wet spot on floor with orange (rust) in the center. It felt wet to the touch.

If I could give this location a ZERO I would: I moved from Extra Storage due to location, this public storage unit location is AWFUL, I do not recommend this location at all. Rats, Dirt Floor, Dirty, Smells like something died in it. I complain all the time of the conditions, nothing is never done. 5X5 unit- they want $80 a month plus $20 for insurance. $100 a month is the worst expensive price I have ever had, Customer Service is non existent & the staff & manager of site NEVER return calls. I have requested rent reduction on the last week of the month like I was told to do from manager: I called and never received a return call, then they still wanted to auto charge & never answered, so rent went up again. I started at $25 a month for this unit. Absurd service! I don't/can't trust my belongings are not infested with infection or disease- (Family Heirlooms), and personal items LOST due to terrible conditions. ! The world of business and customer service is becoming extinct.

I needed extra storage in a hurry and I chose the East Powell Boulevard location because it was closest to my home. Public Storage has a robust website which they encourage renters to use, but I needed help that only a live customer service rep could provide so I went to their location. The office manager “Abbigael” greeted me in person and helped me navigate all the details of the move in process. She was kind, patient, cheerful, and very professional. (I’m an old guy and I had a lot of questions.) My move in went smoothly and I ended up renting a 2nd unit which she also helped me with. She always returns my calls and when I’m visiting my unit(s) I often see her out cleaning the property (which is always spotless) and checking to make sure everything is in order. She always waves and greets me with a smile. Her high quality, old school customer service is a rare treat and much appreciated. I highly recommend this location.

5+ stars. The customer service has been above and beyond professional and friendly! Abigail, property manager, called to follow up on my online reserve rental I tried to do and failed. I ended up calling 800# before office hours opened and started a rental with customer support. She was friendly and helpful, but Abigail was definitely more knowledgeable about the details and was able to answers questions I had. While moving in I ran into whom I thought was the custodian only to find out that it was Abigail. Wow, I am impressed how involved she is in caring for the customers and the property. The Unit I moved into and the property itself is clean; free of trash debris too! That takes work. Then, today I received a courtesy call to see how the move in was and if I had any questions. She welcomed me and thanked me for renting there. Abigail has impressed me by her above and beyond customer service and care! I’ve been a customer here for around 2 years and always had a good experience, but recently I had financial issues and my storage unit was set to go auction, however Abigail being the wonderful employee she is helped me figure everything out and cleared any confusion I was having. Literally the worst experience here. Not only do they raise their rent every couple of months, but no one is ever there during the posted hours to help.
I recently had some fraud on my bank account and had $1000s of dollars taken out, and I called to let them know what had gone on and had received a late fee. (My first fee in a year) They said they couldn’t do anything about it until my balance was paid in full, so I paid the balance and the fee. They said they would waive the fee afterwards no problem. I called them again because the fee wasn’t off of my account when I went to pay the following month. I’m also moving and no longer need the unit. They told me the same thing of you need to pay your balance before we can waive it. I paid it and now they cannot waive it because it’s our last month and we weren’t “proactive” enough and there weren’t any notes on our conversation. They didn’t do their job and it’s our fault?
DO NOT RENT WITH THEM. Find another company. Absolutely ridiculous the way they handled things. I will tell everyone I know to find a space elsewhere and continue to leave bad reviews on all platforms.

So first of all I would like to apologize. I'm pretty sure I dealt with Tyler, I even asked his name and then promptly forgot it 30 seconds later because I am scatterbrain sometimes. So I will add to the posts below that Tyler is amazing and if it wasn't Tyler working on the 15th then all this praise should go to the awesome dude who was behind the counter, and I'm sorry for forgetting your name.
I had made an online reservation for a storage unit. Showed up probably 30 minutes later, Tyler got me all set up. Showed me how to use the app and if that doesn't work, how to find the unlock code without having to dig through my emails. The whole process was completely painless, dude had me in and out, in about 10 minutes and I was storing my first stuff away.
Tiffany was awesome she took me to look at a couple different sizes we talked about what my needs were. She explained everything to me in detail and went over everything so there was no confusion great personality sweet little gal doing her job hundred percent.

Been renting with public storage for years now and they consistently treat us terribly. Poor response time, terrible customer service, a HORRID phone tree for calling in with questions and constantly increasing rates. their business model seems to be to increase customers rates as high as they can until the customer notices, then backpedal to try and keep them, or force them out. They just don't care and will take advantage of you.

Tylor was the most helpful person I’ve ever encountered at a storage facility, friendly, cheerful, willing to help me with whatever I needed help with responds promptly to any requests or problems. You may have highly recommend this location in Public Storage.
They will rob you if you stay their to long and lot of hidden fees watch out

Few months ago we moved into a storage and we are more than 5 breaking within a year that we've been there don't understand how is possible that someone would just drive off Out of the parking space with a trailer without the manager even knowing that the trailer's leaving They drove off with my trailer with more than $20000 in equipment call the public storage and all he said was that there was nothing they can do they don't care about your stuff all day care it's about the money you're giving them This is the worst place to rent from I have rented from other places before and no one has stole for me being an inside the parking storage this is the only place that we had more breaking we have been losing money but we rent from here because we are close for home we'll be looking for another place soon I would not recommend this place to anyone is the worst place..........
The onsite manager, Tyler was a very nice and down to earth guy. He went out of his way to help us out. Gave us store hours for other properties and was extremely helpful.
The manager, Tyler, here is absolutely wonderful! He is always nice and easy to work with. I've had problems with the facility itself and as much as he would like to help me he has been instructed not to address these things by the district manager. The biggest problem I have with Public Storage is they don't seem to care if I can see inside my unit. I'm currently moving from a unit that has a functioning light in it to another unit that has two lights in it that don't work. I have brought this up and he said the district manager told him not to repair lights any longer because people modify them to have the ability to plug things in. I feel that if I'm moving into a new unit that I should have functioning lighting inside my unit, but it would be understandable to not repair something that I modified or broke after the fact. What if I trip and break a bone inside my unit because I can't see? How is it fair that my neighbor has a working light but I do not? What if I was elderly and I tripped in my unit and shattered my hip? I lose roughly 35%- 40% of my daylight accessibility hours because of this and it doesn't seem fair that others have functioning lights for the full access time. Does my rent not pay the electricity here? If I pay my rent on time every month I should have full amenities and accessibility. It feels like discrimination that one person would have functioning lights and another would not.

The manger is very aggressive with ppl so be prepared. I dealt with the district manager & he was very professional & kind. The low stars are bc of the on site mgr's attitude
Absolutely the worst public storage I've ever been to. There is never an employee there to help or even answer the phone. I've left messages and have had zero calls in return. The only positive is that the place recently got painted and is clean inside. Other than that, it was a very frustrating experience trying to talk with anybody.
I was late to leave before closing one time in ever since then they have put a second lock and I'm not allowed there only during office hours which is closed by the time I get off work so I'm never able to get into my storage and I've tried talking to them and they said that I was late four different times which I was not I've only been back one time in 6 months after they first put the second lock on they make it almost impossible for me to get into my own storage which is ridiculous they said that the entire time I have my storage unit I will have that second lock on it which is so messed up.
There’s no carts for moving the heavy boxes to and from vehicles.

I’ve been a patron of this facility for about 6-7 years now. Customer service and location is great; however, corporate policies are terrible and there is no rent control. Started out around $75ish a month for a 5x10. Now I’m coughing up $198 a month when I can’t even afford rent where I actually live. The rent goes up every 6 months and with the mandatory insurance it really adds up.
