Sweet lady but Mary is a bit older to be working, was there 25 mins trying to figure out if units were available, to having to shout because the hearing aids weren’t working to still not being understood, makes it quite difficult to simply get a storage unit where it would take 5 mins anywhere else. Extreme oversight by management to let that happen when they need to give her another job. Saying it all with love anyone in their mid to late 80s needs other jobs besides managing and being the only person there for 100+ units of peoples items. Doesn’t add up but they aren’t hiring anymore or something

My family and I are extremely grateful for Mary’s help today. She is an employee at the Alta View Court location. Today, when I came to see the storage unit I reserved online so we could begin moving our belongings. Realizing that the unit I reserved was going to be way too small for the amount of items we are needing to store inside. Your employee Mary was extremely accommodating, polite, helpful ,knowledgeable and understanding of our needs and situation. She was able to make the adjustment transferring the unit without any issues whatsoever and just me the whole entire experience turned out way better than I could’ve imagined. What could’ve been a complete disaster ended up being a very delightful great experience! It truly really restored my faith that’s it’s possible to receive excellent every day customer service from places again!

I must be going to a different public storage on alta view and speaking with a different Cyndi. That or you paid ppl for these reviews. Cyndi was heinously unprofessional and rude. They're already bleeding people w a horrible price, and surprise it went up another 50 unexpected dollars this month. Ability to cancel your membership with the unit? Hope you hate to have that, bc no one is ever there, no one picks up the phone, and they will blatantly ignore you to your face. This will be my last month, whether these people finally show up to work or not. My whole time with them has been completely infuriating from day one

We were one of the couple of Storage units that recently gotten broken into and ransacked through. As much as we pay a month, it’s just unacceptable. The young lady on duty states surveillance did not catch the thief. Insurance will not let us file a claim on the item that was taken, which we brought 3 years ago and do not have proof of. Which is bogus, bc what was the point of paying for insurance? We were not even offered a free month or discount price, for this month at all. A manger didn’t even call to even acknowledge how we might feel with our things ransacked through. I wonder if it was an inside job.

They were willing to drive into the office early and show me a unit I was curious about rather early on Sunday. Once we both woke up had a good laugh about the whole thing.

Cindy and other staff members are always very helpful and friendly. The property is always clean and maintained well.

Feels like it is not temperature controled. Their is no cart in the building anymore so you have to go to front desk to use 1 in the office. You have to have your i.d. they ask you how long you will be and if it takes you awhile they act like they have a problem.

Hema is an outstanding person. I am happy with his help. He is very Knowledgable and experienced. He told me to download the Public storage app which is very useful. Thank you.

The manager here(Cindy) epitomizes excellence in proactive customer service. I called in a week or so ago to find out the status of my storage unit, which has a bunch of fees on the account I've been carrying over from month to month, due to late payments, and I spoke with Cindy. In the course of our convo, I had explained that the pandemic has placed a lot of financial strain on my household and that I was waiting for my unemployment back-pay to come in, so I can get paid up on some things, including my storage account. Today, Cindy called out of the blue, to inform me that she had requested a credit for a portion of my balance(mainly late fees) and it was approved. The thing is, I hadn't even asked for the credit. Being empathetic to my plight, she did it 100٪ PROACTIVELY! I don't believe I've ever had anybody do something like that for me before, without my requesting it. Simply awesome... So, suffice it to say, you should be extra nice to Cindy if/when you interact with her. She's truly a good person and she deserves it! CRAZY KUDOS CINDY!!!

Helpful even during a pandemic. Cyndi the property manager was so sweet to work with at Public Storage. My company, due to national shortages and budget cuts, has decided to do away with storage units for their sales reps. I was shocked at how understanding and helpful Cyndi was to me during this time. Not only was Cyndi's customer service outstanding, but the office was practicing safe social distancing measures for the safety of their customers. I would recommend this Public Storage to those who need a place to store their items and like to receive strong customer service.

The staff at the facility was very accommodating. She showed me multiple units to ensure that I would have what suited my needs. The pricing is very reasonable (lower than a garage at my complex), & i appreciate the convenience of the gate access hours.

Terrible Customer Service online. I’ve had an issue going for over a year, and they refuse to reply to email to any issue (which I wanted for a written record of promises made). I was on auto pay, bumped when my card changed, came in to pay and get back on auto pay, they never put me on auto pay and charged a late fee. Every month I email and say to make sure I’m back on auto pay before I pay but I won’t pay the late fee when it is their error, each month they don’t. I’ve paid over $100 in late fees despite never missing a payment. They offer no solutions but to pay their fees, threaten auction after just 15 days (despite it being their error) and if you do get someone on the phone, they aren’t empowered to do anything to help. I really just wanted them to admit the mistake. In terms of this specific facility, it’s good. Clean. Safe. They were great when I signed up. They did increase prices about 20% after a few months in addition to the promo rate ending, so be prepared if you’re renting long term to see rates go up by $5-10 every 6 months or so.

It is important to note that they push hard for good reviews when you move in. Therefore, many of these 5-star reviews may just be for good service at move in. We had a unit for 15 months and they raised the rent 3 times in that time. What I’m really upset about, though, is the move out process. They do not prorate your month at move out, and it is based on the end of the month, not your move-in date, which I should have read in the fine print, so that’s on me. But the move out email they sent had incorrect information which ended up costing us $200. The email told us we had to come into the office after we moved our stuff out. We had a moving company move us out on Saturday, October 26. We couldn’t go to the office that day because we had to meet the movers at our new house. The next time we were able to make a trip over there during their office hours was the next Saturday, Nov. 2. We would have been able to make it over there any day during their open hours, but not during the OFFICE open hours. So we waited until the next Saturday to make one trip over there (since we now do not live close by) to both remove our locks and go into the office to finalize the move out. I showed up first thing that morning, removed our locks, and went into the office to have them walk through to confirm we moved out and sign the final paperwork. Except there was no walkthrough or final paperwork or move out process. We just had to tell them that we moved out. We could have come over there and removed our locks at any time and then called and told them we moved out. Instead, now we have to pay another full month’s rent because we had our locks on for one extra day when that wasn’t even necessary because we didn’t have to come into the office at all! They were unwilling to waive or prorate the charges. So, yes, great customer service at move in when they push hard for a good review. Poor customer service when they raise your rent every few months and give you incorrect move out information that results in an extra $200 charge.

Rude employees. Both were taking lunch at the same time in the middle of the day (about 2 pm) and had locked the door. Then they acted like I was being rude by coming in to pay for my unit. Then she proceeded to be disrespectful the entire time. Why did they not take breaks one at a time? Seems like a poorly run business. Also one time I came in and watched a guy finish a game on his computer before he even realized I was standing there waiting. Other than that it's fine.

Was looking for a quick storage unit. The site manager, Cyndi, went above and beyond to show multiple units. She was patient and very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

I rented my 10 x 10 online. The next morning an employee called to ask what time I was arriving. I told her a range as I was renting a truck, packing it and then arriving at unit. That was unacceptable to the employee. So I chose a time prior to picking up truck. Then they called to change that time. I was transferring from a 5 x 5 to 10 x 10. I told them I did not know if I would be moved in and transferred by the close of their office day so they charged me an additional day on 5 x 5 which was fine. I did get moved in and stopped in the office to tell them I had vacated. The next day I got a bill for less than $2. I called to ask why and they said I had not vacated the 5 x 5 in time although I had vacated a day early. They would not write it off so i had to go in to pay it. Poor customer service. The unit was clean and dry so they do get 3 stars.

I came with a friend to this storage facility and the representative was courteous and informative to the many questions I had. It was a comfortable experience. Hands down, you can tell customer service is their #1 priority here! Thanks again, Ms. Cyndi.

I have a unit here. The problem with all Public Storages is they raise your rent by $20 every 3 to 6 months. This is ridiculous, I could understand maybe once a year. They price customers right out of the units. This is a fairly clean facially. I have a business, so need 24hr access. No lights n units, but there's lights on property, on the row where I have my unit, there's 3 buildings, at 12:30- 1am all lights shut off, except the one building farthest away from me. Pitch Black, where I am. These are on timers, have requested, since I work odd hrs, to change the lighting, so at least 1 building by me had light on. With this heat need to work nights. After all for the increases in rent prices, should get some kind of accommodation, since have been doing business with PS for over 35 years.

On moving day, I was in a crisis as I had a borrowed van full of stuff and a limited time to move. I had rented a garage and it turned out to be unusable due to water issues. So I came to Public Storage with a high sense of urgency due to the limited time to move and Bethanie got me set up with a perfect unit in a rapid amount of time. Excellent service!

After research I chose Public Storage and I am satisfied with my choice. I started the reservation process online along with the some of the registration process. It was quick and easy. On the day I was going to Public Storage I got a call to confirm a time to review the storage unit. I spoke with Cyndi who was helpful and professional with showing the unit and answering questions. The process seemed pretty straight forward to me. I think that is testament to the staff.

Nothing about moving is fun, but Nikki at Public Storage Worthington made lining up storage for our upcoming move a breeze. Even though we showed up on a busy day, without an appointment, she was super friendly, professional and thorough. I came in on Sunday (4/14/19) & was quoted online for the $1 move in special. I received two phone calls confirming my move in date; however, neither customer service reps told me in detail what the special actually consisted of outside of the insurance & administrator fee ($25). Thank God for Bethanie! She pulled some strings to get me into the storage unit that I needed. It was actually bigger than what I was originally quoted for online but she still gave it to me for the special price.

Just needed to upgrade storage from the previous day and employee Nikki was so pleasant and helpful. Storage was clean and easy to access. They use cylinder locks which I love. Great place too get a storage unit

I used this particular storage location for nearly two years and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Store manager Bethanie is incredibly helpful and kind, and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction! One thing to note is that Public Storage as a chain can be a bit frustrating, which has nothing to do with any individual employee (they add on extra fees, etc.) but I imagine that’s similar to any other storage chain. Bethanie does a great job of making sure that you understand exactly what you’re paying for, in this context, so she is truly a godsend! The facility itself is also very clean and well-maintained (I used climate-controlled, inside storage). Overall recommend very highly!

The facility is nice, safe, clean. The employees are very friendly and professional, though it’s a one star for me because of an ongoing billing issue. I’ve been on auto pay, yet the auto pay did not go through once because my card changed. I updated my card. Still, they didn’t process my auto pay and charged a $20 late fee. I emailed customer service, 11 times and finally got a reply that just said to go into my local store. Back in town 3 months later, I finally did and I’ve now paid $80 in late fees despite the error being entirely their fault. This also comes off of my rate being increased two months after the start of my contract. So, nice people, good facility, but either a bit of a scam or just incompetence with billing and they offer no way to get any resolution other than paying.

Manger is very nice. Publi Storage itself is messed up. Charges different prices very month. Takes for ever to get fixed. Go to another storage company.

Bethanie from WORTHINGTON public storage was fabulous! We came in from out of state and she was able to accommodate us after hours to get us in. Also the movers forgot to unload some stuff and we had to come back super late to meet the movers and again Bethanie was able to accommodate. The storage unit was very clean compared to other locations we saw. Also Alyssa did a great job locating a unit last minute!

Out of all the storage units I have been to, this has to be the best one yet! The lady at the counter Bethanie, was extremely kind and helpful. The units were clean as well as the office and outside area. 10/10 will recommend to friends and family!

A Life saver! I had trouble finding a suitable storage place for my belongings. Bethanie at the Public Storage facility walked me through the process and assured me my property would be very secure and taking care of.

Reserved my unit on line and met Jack who was courteous, professional and prepared for our appointment. The unit is clean and secure. I would love if it was open 24 hours a day instead of 6am-9pm daily other than that, I love it!

For renting space which we needed immediately it was a very quick and easy process thanks to Bethanie. I also appreciate that there were plenty of carts to aid in moving our items. Highly recommend this location.

Awesome customer service! I got in just In the Knick of time and Thought the store was closed. Bethanie called me and stayed late to get me in and sign my lease. I have been treated with the utmost professional customer service, starting with Emilee during my first visit to inquire, and finally today upon reserving my 5x7 unit with Blake. Both ladies do a fantastic job representing Public Storage and offer suggestions with complete assistance during sign up. Please recognize these ladies. Professional Staff, clean and well maintained property.

Just stopped by the office. Doors locked, nobody around. No sign on the door. Waited 15 minutes and gave up. Hours are until 6? Baloney. I needed assistance getting into my storage unit that I am paying monthly fees for. So now what?

Really nice facility, and they seem to be finding their groove after the transition from Cardinal. Nice staff, very helpful. Oh and Dominque totally saved our bacon when we left our unit door open (it was really hot and we were dumb) ON HER LUNCH BREAK.

Rude staff, never seem to know what's going on.

I had a great experience yesterday with Public Storage and Forest the manager in Dublin OH.. He was fantastic and was very patient in walking us through the perfect size unit, the paperwork and even worked through his lunch hour. I would and will rent with Public Storage again. I hope they are all as good as this one.
