hate that i forgot her name, helena, maybe? was so kind and helpful! she made sure our experience was quick and easy!

Rented from them for about 6 years everything was fine until they practically double my rent on a 5 by 10 from 80$ a month to 173$ I decided to find a cheaper place and did, moved out with half the month left and find out they don’t pro rate on move outs! So I basically paid 173$ for 2 weeks of having the unit. Place is a rip off would never recommend this place to anybody! Someone should investigate this place for fraud!

Manipulative and predatory business practices. They increased my rent by almost 3x the amount I paid initially. It almost doubled every year. When trying to move out they tack on a full month then turn around a re-rent the unit you just vacated in essence charging two people that month for the same unit. They claim it’s in the “contract” but cannot provide a copy of this contract when requested. If I could give no stars I would. STAY AWAY, NOT A BUSINESS YOU SHOULD TRUST YOUR BELONGINGS WITH.

Very friendly staff, clean units, and secure fencing and access points with password protected entrance and exit. Exactly what I needed for storage.

Helena, the store manager, is super friendly and great at what she does. I'm a very satisfied customer. She will go above and beyond.

One star is too much quite honestly. This review is for the Gardnerville property but also Public Storage as a company. This is been by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I had to move units because I found a dead bird, eggs, bird poop all over my unit. I had to throw a lot of my personal belongings away. When I moved all my things into the new unit, I was promised by multiple people that my rate would stay the same. It has been over three months now, and my rate was increased almost $30 per month. I have spoken to the property manager multiple times despite the difficulty in getting a hold of her. She has promised me that she would escalate the situation to her regional manager. Never gets back to me when she says she will. I’ve spoken to 5 Corporate Customer Service agents who have also promised me that the issue was being escalated, and that their manager would get back to me within 72 hours. All five times this was a promise, all five times nobody has reached out. They said they have no control of pests getting into your unit, so that is the risk you take by storing your items here. The insurance they force you to pay for each month also, doesn’t cover this apparently.

Very happy with the security and customer service here. There was a misunderstanding with the contract, and Helena resolved the problem promptly and cheerfully. Would recommend.

Helena was super friendly and amazing at what she does, seriously couldn’t have asked for someone better to take care of me!! She was very helpful and really understood I was having a bad day and made sure to take care of me. I even had to move units and get a bigger one sense I missed judged all the stuff I had and she had me into a bigger one right away!! Thanks again Helena!!🪽🙏🥹

Much better service and welcoming staff at Public than the place down the street "Stor-All" on Industrial! Don't make the mistake I did and have a weird experience with the out-of-town people who own the other place. They don't like Gardernville or the locals. Employees here are residents, down to earth, and are super helpful at finding you a unit that fits your needs and budget. 5 star here - 1 star at Stor-All

This location is very clean and the property manager Helena is amazing! We had a reservation for a smaller unit and needed a bigger which she was wonderful about helping us get what we originally needed. If I could give more stars I would!

Blake was amazing! This was my first time ever renting a storage unit. He was friendly and professional and walked me through everything. Made sure I was able to use the gate key code provided. Showed me on the map where the unit was and then had me follow him to the unit to make sure it was what I needed. I purchased a lock with my rental and we made sure the keys worked. He also helped me download the Public Storage App, made sure I was able to login and showed me how to use it's technology to remotely access the gate which is a nice feature since it by passes the need for physically typing in the gate code upon entry and exit.

I needed a storage unit and Public Storage really fit my needs! I spoke with Sarah and Blake and they were super friendly and helped me with all my questions and concerns. Blake walked me through the process and gave a tour of where my unit would be and how to use the key pad. The facility is secure and close in proximity to my neighborhood. I highly recommend this storage facility. Thank you Blake and Sarah!

Blake is the new relief property manager while Sarah is up in Reno. He has been incredibly helpful going above and beyond to help out the tenants here.
