This is the worst storage you can deal with as they are scumbags. I initially was paying $65.14 the first 3 months then the price rose to $71.44 without explanation within another 3 months and then it rose again to $89.67 in another 3 months. They keep taking the price up and up without any notification or explanation and it is very wrong. It seems they take the price up every few months and i will be getting the better business bureau involved because they are price gouging.

Ryan was extremely friendly and accommodating to my needs in terms of which size unit to rent for the amount of stuff I needed to store. Ryan will also be present to assist me during my move out later this month and provided me with very useful reminders as to what I need to do when closing out my account and my storage unit. Both Ryan and Allie were extremely helpful today they couldn't have made the moving process any easier. The facility is climate controlled, clean and well-kept up. I have to give a hand to the employees for a great job they've been doing.

Allie and Ryan both helped us over the course of December as we were moving between homes. They gave us very personable service, even remembering us over time. When we realized we needed to downsize units, they made it easy to take care of. In terms of the facilities, they are clean, well cared for, safe, and convenient. I only wish that the gate hours were 24/7 instead of limited hours, but it's a minor complaint when everything else is so great.

This is my third time using a storage unit and I came back to Public Storage because of the cleanliness of the place and the professionalism. Ryan found me the right size unit and got me registered very quickly. It's a breath of fresh air to deal with someone who actually enjoys doing their job. He was wonderful to deal with.

Ryan went well above the call of duty. He was very friendly and helped us despite the technical difficulties with the gate codes. In the short time we were there he was able to rent us a unit and resolve the techincal issues.

Renting the unit was quick and easy. We were told there would be a lock and information packet in our unit. When we arrived a few days later with loads of things to store there was no lock, and no packet,. It was after regular office hours. Fortunately Ryan was there. He was wonderful. He gave us a lock and packet, noticed the unit floor hadn't been swept and immediately took care of it If he hadn't been there, it would have been a very frustrating situation. Thank you so much Ryan. We're very appreciative.

Moved my stuff into a unit at this location. Mike W at the front desk was super helpful and worked with me to find a new unit when the one I rented was to small. Could have been very stressful but he was so pleasant and helped me find a unit on the same floor!

Mike helped us get a storage unit, he was very friendly, the check in was super easy. We reserved online the night before and came the next day and had immediate access to the unit. It was very simple and Mine was very informative and patient.

The sole reason that this facility got 5 stars for me was because of the facility manager, Sidney. Now only did she go above and beyond to accommodate me and make my life easier but she also was an absolute pleasure to deal with. People like her are hard to come by these days and I hope this company recognises what a rock star they have.

My initial rating was going to be based on the fact that they raise your storage fees quite often, and not just once a year, but multiple times within a year, and perhaps the rating would have been around 3 stars. However, I have decided to switch from that to events that have taken the globe by storm lately. In the toughest times is where the true colors of people and organizations are shown. Public Storage is doing absolutely 0 to help with the global pandemic at the moment. My wife called and there was nothing that they had planned. They just gave a simple "we aren't doing anything as of this moment or halting anything". Banks, car manufacturers, landlords, I mean even the IRS is working with people to help bring relief in these unprecedented times, but yet it is "Public Storage" that is the thorn? Hours have been cut back and people are losing their jobs, yet there is no rent waived for at least just one month to help their customers out. So with that said, a stop has been put to our automatic payments and we will be going into storage and selling our stuff we haven't used in some time and bringing what can be used with us, and no longer using them.

Tanisha and Alison are the best! I had such a great experience checking into my storage space with them during a very stressful time. They were kind and knowledgeable and straight to the point. I understood exactly what was happening, and they even took extra time to explain my bill to me after I had already checked in and came back for more info. The only reason I didn't review it 5 stars is because I signed up for a $1/month promotion, and when I went into the facility I had to pay for a lock and insurance and taxes and it drove the price way up. That could have been more clear on the website. I would still recommend using this facility, but maybe do a little bit of extra research before you go in!

I had two storage units for two years at Public Storage in Wayne, NJ and they were great! I never had an issue with anything. Allison who helped me both sign up and sign out was so knowledgeable and very friendly, I watched her deal with two other customers while waiting and she was great! I gave this storage site 3 out of 5 because of ONE MAJOR issue, NOT Enough carts. The staff was nice. But when I asked if there were more carts available, I was told that’s all they had. From what I’ve seen there may be a total of 4 or 5. If there were others on a different floor other than the basement, ground or the floor where my storage space was located, I can’t go to the other floors to look for other carts if people left them by the elevator. My storage unit is on the 3rd floor and I don’t have access to the second floor. If someone left a cart on the second floor, I would be allowed to access it. There is a need for more carts.

Buyer beware! So I've had a unit at this Wayne location for a few years now and decided to vacate my unit yesterday the 3rd of the month. Since I hadn't yet paid for this month when I went to the office to inform them that I had moved out, they told me I had to pay for the entire month even though it was now empty. I then asked well why can't I just pay a prorated rate for the 3 days and all I got back as a response was this is a month to month lease. After going back and forth with the property manger, Joe, he then tells me I have two options for you, you can pay for the unit this month (after I had already emptied it) OR I can choose not to pay and it'll be sent to collections. Ok, next step spoke today to Regional Mgr, Nicole hoping that something could be done and of course, response was there was nothing she can do because their system bills automatically on the 1st of the month and there is no way to prorate- excuses. I'm sure something could have been done. I understand companies have policies but honestly I cannot understand how, as a very popular storage brand name, for the sake of providing good customer service, they would at least attempt to make an effort instead of just saying NO we can't do anything. Funny how when the air conditioning wasn't working for weeks in 100 degree weather, as a customer, I understood and withstood sweating like a pig when I had to move a few things into the unit. Also, every six months or so enduring an increase in the monthly bill without complaining. And the one time I ask for leeway from the regional mgr, nothing can be done. So they basically charged me for a months rent on a unit that is currently empty. What a rip off and horrible service.

Worst customer service and billing in the North East! Not only do you get bumped up 15% to 20% per year ( I went from $86 in 2016 to $122 in 2018 for the SAME SPOT ) but if your payment arrives on the 7th of the month they charge you a late fees without remorse. The last day to pay is the 7th and if you pay on the 7th plan on paying an additional $15 to $20! If you are looking for self storage look else where because once you get your stuff in this place they will abuse you with additional charges!

Allison did an incredible job making the move-in/move-out process easy and flawless. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities are clean and easily accessible. If you need a storage in Wayne, this is the place to leave your stuff without worries or hassle.

Allison and Taylor are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They maintain an orderly environment and monitor the facility regularly. Whenever I have a concern or need an answer to a question, Allison is always there to help. This storage facility is a clean, well lighted place with easy access to the units, and it's easy to get to as it's right off route 23 south. very satisfied with the facility and the service, esp Allison and Taylor. :)

Shaquilla - you guys were great

Paid for "secure" storage but for 8 months out of 12 the outdoor security camera was pointed at the sky and the access door was wide open or broken or unsecured (no pass code required!). Complaints yielded no results and were met with "parts are on order" or some other excuse. Could not safely access my storage unit, especially after dark. The concrete floor of my unit was not flat or smooth which caused carts and dollies to bounce & teeter. Very dusty inside the unit. Be sure to make your final payment on time as auto-pay expires when you give your move out date. This cost me a $50 late fee. Scarcity of rolling carts makes busy times a challenge.

I came into the office on 6/11 asking questions about renting around the month of August. The young lady Shaquilla was beyond helpful and very knowledgeable about what I should do. She was a pleasure to talk too and I am more than pleased to leave her a great review. Thank you again for the lovely conversation we had, see you soon Shaquilla.

Bait & Switch!!! What lease is only good for 6 months!!!!!! They lure you in with a great rate but then at month 6 they jack up your rent so you are SCREWED!! Not much choice, what are you going to do scramble to find another place, get a truck and move out all of your stuff in 5 days? (Because that's the grace period they "give" you to get out -so if not out by then you are charged a daily prorated amount based on the new rate!!) so knowing you are not likely going to be able get organized in time to move out- you are stuck paying the new rate!!! All that money you thought you'd save because of that "great deal" HA what a joke!! They make it back 10x with the new higher rent!! Find another place to store your stuff!!!!!

Went here yesterday to check into my new unit, and James assisted my father and I wonderfully. He was extremely knowledgeable, explained every charge and fee that was/will incur on the account, and was a pleasure to work with. It made the experience much more enjoyable than I had anticipated. The facility very well kept. I was there on April 29th and the manager there was amazing. I forgot her name but she's the carrbean lady. While she was busy accommodating a very one, there was a very rude guy there who at some point told this lady he doesn't want to deal with her kind. As ignorant as that may sound she kept her cool and ignored his comment and did her job. So the guy who was in the black benz with your wife and kept giving her a hard time and making that racial comments shame on you! I will definitely use this storage again. Keep up the good work and customer service.

Rented a unit with my cousin today for her dorm room items during the summer and some things of mine. The whole process was quick and thorough. James is the manager there and welcomed us when we came in and gave us bottles of water to cool off from packing and moving all day. He showed us the storage and explained everything in detail, even including how to make sure the lock is properly put on. Apparently, some people do not lock their doors properly, but it was important for him to explain how this can happen. He even suggested something to keep the space dry to prevent our clothes and tv from getting ruined by humidity. He really cares about the people he deals with and I feel safe knowing he is in charge of the place we're keeping our things. My cousin and I recommend this location and James if you need storage. P.S. Congrats James on you and your wife expecting!

Met with James on 4/17/17 to view my available options regarding storage unit sizes available. James was a pleasure to deal with. He was waiting for us at our scheduled appointment time, and he was courteous, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to us in detail, regarding the contract, and available insurance. I could not be happier with the service. Thank you James, it's not to often these days that you find people who take pride in what they do, and do their job as well as you. PS: My wife and I after a long trip from our home in Pa ate lunch at Anthony's Italian Restaurant across from Public Storage, which James recommended, and it was fantastic

My husband and I went to Public Storage on a Sunday 15 minutes before closing and Kaitlyn was taking care of another customer. She asked if we could wait untill she was done. Then instead of saying she only had time to answer questions no she took care of us we were able to rent a storage space. She was VERY helpful, patient and cooperative. We are very happy with her serves.And on our way out there was someone that wanted to make a payment and she let her in. So needless to say she worked past her closing time with a smile on her face as if it were 3:00 in the afternoon. Wish everyone were as pleasant as Kaitlyn was.

Just came home from renting out a storage for the first time ever!! Not only was I given the best price in the local area but my sales representative Allison was a complete doll! I rescheduled and was late to my reservation and she accommodated me to fulfill my needs as a customer without never once being unpleasant about it. (They close at 6pm I arrived at about 5:40pm) she made sure she showed me everything I needed to know and did not rush ! I must say this was one of the most pleasant encounters I've ever dealt with as a consumer!! If Allison's Boss is reading this; she definitely is an asset to your company!!!

Great service. Came in and spoke with Ashley originally. I did not need the space right then but her customer service skills are definitely one of the reasons I came back a few weeks later to rent. I even had to transfer the next day because I didnt realize how much stuff I had and she was patient while dealing with all of that as well. Thank you Public Storage!

The location is easily accessed. Ashley is wonderfully knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She made signing up effortless and became our go-to person for any questions we had. We also noticed she keeps up on ensuring the security doors work well and that the trash people unfortunately leave is taken care of. She made securing a storage place a pleasant experience.

Buyer beware! I am having a frustrating situation with Public storage. They raised my rental rate after five months 25%. No warning at all. By time I was finally leave a message with a customer service manager, I received a voice message that they were sorry I was upset but, they could do nothing about this. It was in fine print in my contract. When I signed the contract I asked the property manager if there was anything I should really pay attention to in this agreement in terms of increases etc. She told me it was very simple agreement with no surprises.

Manager is confrontational and angry and aggressive very nasty dose go by the May be by her book

The facility is clean and the managers are friendly and give good service. However, I can only give a two-star rating because of the way they do pricing. After only 6 months, my rate went up by 17%, and then a year later it went up by another 10%. I was told I could expect "reasonable" increases once a year; I don't think that a 17% price increase after just a few months of being there is reasonable at all.

Went to public storage a few days ago to pay my mother bill with her and the door was locked with a set return time but a woman came to the door and stated that she was on lunch but was still was willing to help us. I told her to enjoy her lunch and we will be right back. She said that she will be returning soon so she do not mind.... I like to voice my opinion on the experience at the Public Storage I need a storage place and I stopped at the public storage in Wayne. I did not need to shop around because the experience I received from the employee there Tina was outstanding convincing and very pleasurable I also want to say that they have all the supplies you need to maximize the height in the unit and everything was fantastic thank you very much.

Came to rent at public storage with my friend Jackie. Facility was very clean. Anna and Victor were incredibly helpful and friendly. Process was quick and easy. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Our unit was broken into this week. Called the police, took pictures and the manager had to be called. First, she accused us. Wouldn't do a thing for us except charge us more money for the same size unit. Let the fight begin! We moved out. Manager could have cared less about us being robbed and loosing our things. "That doesn't happen here, never." were her words. Clearly it happened!

My friend Dianne has been renting here for about a month. Esmerida is the one that helped her get her space situated. She was so professional and we'll informed. This place offer climate control, which is very helpful. Keep up the good work!

This facility is clean and the staff friendly... even the restrooms are unexpectedly tidy. I am a local author....I go to Public Storage to get packing materials to ship my books, but would have no qualms in renting storage space to hold my valuables.

We have been a customer here for a long time. We are disappointed and worried about the security at this location. Both gates are always broken and wide open allowing anyone in and out without a code. Also the ground floor loading dock door is always broken and wide open when we come to our unit. We are very upset, disappointed and worried about the safety of our belongings…

I went online to reserve my unit because it was a better price. Hiovanny the manager in this facility had called me to meet with me and show me the unit and around the facility. He could have not been any nicer or friendlier. The place was clean and they have many security cameras.

This place is great. I can really trust it with my belongings. The building is climate controlled so I don't have to worry about my stuff molding away. Every time I get the chance to go to my locker, the building is always very clean.

I have been renting at public storage in Wayne even before the facility was extra space and I love it their is much more security now and I feel more secure with public storage the facility is very clean the workers are very joyful and good on work will keep renting with this company I definitely recommend public storage.

Cart has broken wheel, rear auto door constantly opening and closing, fire alarm has trouble codes, 3rd floor is very hot.

I have rented from here since 2012. I absolutely love it. I have used the unit as a second closet. I love the all three security codes you have to go through because I know my stuff is safe. I also love the security cameras everywhere so I know everything is secure. Everything is very clean. Highly recommended.

Christopher helped me out with my first storage unit today and it was a more than pleasant experience. He was very patient, informative and friendly as he showed me my different unit options and went over my contract. The unit that Christopher set me up with was very clean and met all of my storage needs, and he even sold me on a lock and a few boxes to make this process even easier. He was great and I will definitely be recommending this facility in the future to any one that I know in need of one.

I use a lot of the packing supplies to ship things through eBay. Great price on stretch wrap, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and newspaper.

My mother and I have been tenants in thus storage facility for the passed year. We have only dealt with the property manager, Lian. She is the most professional and pleasant person that has worked here. She has been nothi ng but helpful with us. We had plenty of issues with our unit. My mom had spoken to a Lorena, who apparently is the Regional manager. We are still trying to figure out how this woman is even allowed to de al with people. My mom and I are both business owners. I can't imagine treati ng people in such a way when there is an issue pertaining to something that we pay $140 per month. Anyways, more people in this world should be as professional and personable as Lian. She is the only reason why we have not vacated fron this particularl location.

The public storage in Wayne nj was great. I talked to the property manager Ashley and she explained everything thing i needed to know about the units she was very knowledgeable. The property was very clean and the customer service was great. I will definitely recommend this location to family and friends. And i think its also pretty cool that they sell merch!

Stopped in quickly because I needed packing supplies and the associates were very helpful. They informed me of their current promotion and it couldn't have come at a better time seeing as how I am in the process of moving and find myself with very little space at my new place. I plan on returning with my husband later this month to rent a unit just until we get ourselves situated.
