I just went to rent a storage unit and I was greeted by Jaszmine she was polite and very helpful for my rental needs.

I love it here. The personnel are so friendly and helpful. I am unfortunately homeless, and I keep all of my stuff here. I get up every morning, grab some clothes from my unit, use their bathroom, and then go to the gym to work out and shower. The costs are very reasonable as well.

So far so good. It’s nice and bright inside of the units. It’s clean. And feels very secure. Edit: 9 months into having a unit at the Mantua location I am dropping my 5 star rating to a 1 star rating with little hope to increase it. First let me start by saying, on 3 separate occasions have I gone to this facility throughout my 9 months here where the front gates are broken, won’t open, won’t close, ect. Trying to access my unit has been an absolute nightmare. Secondly, as a continuation to my access issue. There is a back gate door that is close to my unit but they refuse to open it to let me even reverse in to access my unit. Lastly, after going on your website to see the number of available units, at equal size or larger, for a cheaper price than what I’m renting mine for. Not to mention my rent was already increased. Glad you up charge those who stay and discount those who join. I am extremely frustrated, upset, and disappointed. I hope to see some changes in the near future. Only then will I possibly re-rate your establishment once again.

BEWARE. TODAY 1/1/24 I WENT TO MY UNIT AND IT WAS BROKEN INTO. It looks like an inside job. The unit next to mine is “empty” and someone cut into the wall to push into my unit. The only reason I knew is because they broke my planters that were on that wall. No one has returned my calls. ***EDIT: day 4 of me waiting for a manager to call me. The previous review about it being an inside job seems like he’s correct. Tracy and Destiny have access to power tools, ladders, etc. but no video footage of anyone coming in with power tools to cut open any of the units 😳😬

BEWARE. NOT A SAFE SECURE FACILITY AS ONE WOULD EXPECT !! There was a recent October/November 2023, robbery of multiple units (15 and upwards to date...the tally grows as people come in and discover their units had been broken into) and file a police report) at this facility..you think when you lock your steel door that your belongings will be safe and sound. Nothing could be further from the truth. The ceilings of these units are covered in flimsy chicken wire which was bent and the thieves entered through the tops of the units. How could this be achieved with no one knowing this is going on ??? Can't prove it but seems like an inside job or an outside job with inside assistance.. in my opinion...To put salt on the wound the mandatory insurance that one pays additional for and of course does not cover 95% of the types of things one might put in storage. BEWARE when you store your things at this facility that you are completely on your own because the only thing they will do for you is say we're sorry...If you don't believe me call the Mantua NJ police Dept and ask... Below Cube smart management responds to my review with a canned response, they and the Mantua Police are fully aware of mine and many other customers situation with our units being broken into.

Easy to access, clean and good price

The rate increases are so frequent and quite ridiculous. I went from paying $250 to $472 in a year!! So many storage units are and have remained empty for so long because they are just too much!

The ladies in the office are really helpful and very nice. The facility is very clean and bright. It feels safe with all of the surveillance cameras, gated and indoor parking. And the location and access hours are good also.

Management and staff were very helpful and caring of my needs

Very easy to reserve a unit, no credit card needed. I really liked the entire experience! My only issue being the confusion over the "1st Month Free" advertising. We reserved a unit for yesterday and ended up paying nearly $70 on the initial sign up payment, insurance, and the lock. Apparently after paying nearly the price of our unit monthly upon sign up, this month is STILL considered our "Free" month. It would be so much easier if all of this was explained beforehand. I researched prior to reserving a storage space so we were prepared to pay $30 as a sign up fee, but the lock and insurance were completely unexpected. Then to have the advertised "1st Month Free" be the month we have already paid $70 is also a big let down. We are new customers and are excited to see how our experience increases from here. This place looks so cool. We watched it being built and it's right near us, so we are looking forward to using this storage space!😄

Barely giving one star-they are ripping people off and raising the price for units. They have no customer service and corporate does not help with anything. Totally money-driven and not customer focused. Do NOT recommend Mantua Cubesmart. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and get better prices!

overall one of the best storagre companies ive dealt with. the staff is friendly, its very clean and secure. and i love the fact the whole place is climate controlled and they still have really affordable prices and you can do everything inside, even unload your truck inside of theyre large garage and take your things right to your unit. id recommend them to anyone.

Doors have been broken for months! Every other customers that I have ran into are leaving. Office worker claims waiting for a part? FROM WHERE? “You get what you pay for?” Not Here!

The elevator doors to Cube Smart in Mantua are broken and have apparently been inoperable for months-per our movers-which requires patrons to hand carry their belongings through a door to the storage unit. Even if the doors could be opened manually it would be more efficient. The desk staff lack customer service skills and are not helpful at all. It may as well be unmanned.

Helpful, Pleasant staff

The facility is clean, well lit with movement sensing lights, good security measures with cameras on site and access code to enter the facility, maintains comfortable climate even during the cold, and has clean bathrooms onsite. I previously wrote a negative review for this company after encountering many issues during my use of their storage facility but the care team replied immediately with contact information to express my grievances. My email was then forwarded to the District Manager, Marc, who, personally, emailed and called me the next day to address my concerns and did so with expediency. I appreciate you Marc for properly addressing my concerns, explaining the cause of them and helping to compensate for the issues.

Great facility, super clean! The staff is all very friendly. I had the pleasure of working with Destiny specifically. Destiny patiently went over all the information with me (probably atleast 5x) as I went back and forth countless times while making a final destination. She also took me on a tour to see each unit I was considering. Patient, delightful, and laughed at my bad jokes. 🙂 I would recommend this location to anyone in need of storage!

Staff was extremely helpful. Facility was clean and quiet. Usually, there are many handcarts for people to use. However, sometimes people would end up leaving with them (not the fault of CubeSmart). I felt like my items were actually safe being stored there. Pricing was reasonable in my opinion!

It's very expensive, however it's very clean, indoors and with auto sensor ceiling lights. They have both regular and climate control units in multiple sizes. The one thing that perturbs me is the fact that there are not enough carts, especially since the place is so huge. The other is that the garage style loading dock door was broken by a customer and is taking a real long time for them to fix. It can be manually opened by them. However, office hours are limited. They refuse to give a discount on my expensive rental of which I'm not happy about since my unit is very close to the loading dock. That was the main reason why I chose that unit. I did discover though that the garage door height won't allow a 20ft Uhaul truck to fit under the door. I didn't realize that until I rented the truck. What a bummer!

Facility was a climate controlled location. They had multiple issues with their doors breaking and lasting at least a month long. When I moved out their door was still broken. For a week both of their doors were broken and one could not be shut in the middle of August and could not maintain a climate controlled environment. When I went to check on my things at the middle of September I noticed mold on my furniture and immediately moved out. Go somewhere else!

The facility is very clean and well lit. There are a lot of options for sizes. The employees were super helpful in showing me the units so I could find the right size for what I needed. I have never rented a storage unit, and they explained everything and showed me around the facility. Very good customer service!

They went above and beyond to help with my storage needs

I needed a storage unit since I had a roommate moving into my spare room. We decided to check out CubeSmart. It is new and very clean. The lady Ashley was very nice, friendly and informative. She was able to answer all our questions and showed us many different sizes. Right now I’m starting with one of the smaller units. It fits our needs for what we need it for. It is also climate control and convenient from where I live. I suggest to check them out if you need a storage unit.
