Less than 30 minutes after I reserved online, Amy called me to answer any questions I had and tell me how the process worked to complete my application. Later that day when the website wasn't working properly, I let her know and she called back to help troubleshoot. She could not have been nicer or more helpful! First off, Amy is fabulous. Professional, polite, responsive, all around terrific. Here's my experience with the company over all--I entered into a contract in late April 2024 for a 10X20 Unit at a cost of $237/month. After 7 months I was told that my monthly cost would be increasing by $100/month; a 42% increase. I attempted to speak directly with the regional manager, Hector Rivera. I called him twice and left detailed messages. I received no response to either call. I then reached out to Public Storage customer service and was told nothing could be done, their units are in high demand, the contract provides for increases, etc., etc. I am now making plans to take my business to a local, family owned provider from whom I can expect predictable and fair treatment. This is a clear example of bigger is not always better, and the bottom line rules all decisions, even at the cost of customer retention and public perception.

I’ve been a customer at this particular location for over 12 years and have zero complaints about it. Staff has always been helpful and attentive(at times maybe too attentive as they give many courtesy reminders. Haha) and are always willing to help whether it be getting a different size unit or helping to try and figure out a way to cut cost. Amy has definitely helped in keeping me a customer of public storage even when I’ve considered doing away with it at times. After years of constantly acquiring things that I don’t necessarily want to part with I must say the storage unit does come in handy.

I don't like KIOSK'S that's just me, but I went to the Public Storage located at 2629 Brunswick Ave Lawrence NJ. Where they have a kiosk, and you actually speak to a live person, who was very nice and patient. Her name was Michelle from TX. I was still skeptical so I spoke to a Property Manager named Amy who actually
works at another location. Amy came over to the Lawrence Property to Show me the Unit. She was great! Very easy going and funny too and very professional. Amy showed me a couple of units. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. After, I made a decision to go for it and get the Unit. I had to go back on the KIOSK, which I was dreading, however Michelle was so pleasant and patient. I forgot that I don't like kiosks. Both Michelle and Amy were great! Thank you guys for everything.

I rented a 10' x 20' unit from Public Storage in Lawrenceville and it was a great experience. Joyce, the property manager, was super helpful and accommodating, she had everything ready for me when I got there, and made check-in a breeze. The unit was clean and dry, the open hours are convenient, and the prices were competitive. I would absolutely rent from here again.
