It's been a year, Aug. 12, 2023, since I opened an account with Public Storage, 12900 Newburg, Livonia. To this day, June 11, 2024, I still remember the kindness of Amy. She was truly helpful. Being a first-time user of a storage I was lost and asked many questions and Amy didn't look the least annoyed. She continued to assist me and even volunteered to get me a flat bed, didn't know was free of charge. There are just people like Amy who takes their job to heart. ❤

Both Amy and Mary went above and beyond for me. From finding the right size unit to pricing layout. Great customer service goes a long way. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Will never use these ppl again, they never on site and if your late they add a hefty fee on and they will auction your things off so fast, this company all about the interest of their company and not there customers, everything they do is an inconvenience to the customer, I have use several storage places from Michigan to new york and this company is the worst! Think twice before using these people.

Office closed, why asking people to come if you are not able to show up. Very disgusting.

Agree with Tracy Knight's review. Just look at the pics posted- the seals are gone! I went in to the office and asked why all of the nice, new paint, unit decals, etc. but no NEW SEALS on the bottoms of the roll up doors! I haven't gotten a response yet and I asked to be called. Just looking online at the prices and a bigger unit is offered for over $100 cheaper than what I am paying per month. Have been storing here for 3 years now and something needs to and will change.

I went to my storage unit today to get a few items and was thoroughly disappointed because the company decided to do some renovations to the building of which left everything in my unit covered in dirt & debris. They had sent an email that they were going to paint on August 1st I believe. I had called about a week prior to confirm they still had tarps & other supplies to cover my items per the email. The employee on the phone stated they had already completed the project. I wish they would have let me know they were going to do it earlier than stated because now everything in my unit is filthy. I wish someone would contact me about this because I find a big inconvenience that I am moving in a few weeks and everything is dirty. To add insult to injury they jacked the rate up to 185 from 145. I'm not happy with this at all.

I have a unit I share with my mother. Livonia location on Newburgh. Our issue started more than 2 months ago when we notified the property manager that our unit door was broken. We were finally able to leave a key two weeks later (mid-July) and now it is mid-September and our door still isn’t fixed. All we keep hearing is the vendor is behind. We’ve used this property multiple times, never again. We just want to get to our belongings. We have called multiple times, supposed messages sent to upper management with no response. Even the district manger, Wayne, stopped replying after being asked twice over weeks if there was a status update. I’m so disappointed to be going through this. This has been so frustrating and to hear that someone will be in contact, and to not hear anything is so disheartening. How sad another company is only seeing $$$ with no customer service. It’s like they’re holding our stuff hostage 😔 I would not recommend this property or Public Storage to anyone again.

I was happy with space and location but the high price jump after only being there a couple months was hard to swallow especially without warning. I pulled everything out. Sad as it was convenient and close but the price drove us out!!

DO NOT RENT HERE! I moved into this storage from Tennessee only visiting my unit twice within 8 months the day I moved out I found that over $3,000 worth of my personal belongings were stolen by the employees of this property! Only to file a claim and be denied. Sedgwick insurance is a joke this property hires thieves. My lock was cut off by the property manager and public storage place their own lock on my unit only after stealing all of my valuable. Property when I approached him about my items the day I moved out she did not want to listen and told me to file an insurance claim where are the claim is now deny this place is a joke! Save the headache and if you value your belongings, do not rent storage space at this particular property again unless you want everything, stolen by a bunch of low life criminals

I set up a reservation to complete in the office in two days. I was called and confirmed the time on the day before. I went to the appointment to find that it was closed and no one was there to help me. I took my business elsewhere.
