Very easy to rent online. The lady working in your 8355 Telegraph Rd, Odenton, MD location on the afternoon of Sep 7 was very helpful. It was my first time there. She knew exactly where my space is located so she was able to give me simple, succinct directions. The price is fair and the grounds, exterior and interior are clean and well maintained. This locations feels very safe.

We had just driven back from South Carolina with a 16 foot truck full of stuff from my dad‘s house. We were tired after driving through the rain, but we only had one more day on the truck and we needed a place to put stuff. We used their website and scheduled a storage room and scored a discount in the process. The entire process was very smooth and easy and they are very upfront about what they require and what you can do if you have another way of dealing with their requirements, such as insurance and the lock for the door.
The next day we drove up in our truck after having downloaded the app. We stopped in the front office, although it turned out we really didn’t need to other than to figure out where our unit was. Brittany G was there and helped us find our spot. Having downloaded the app, we were able to use it to remotely open the gate and drive back around to where we could unload our truck.After we checked it out in person, we decided that our stuff was too bulky to easily navigate to where our unit was. We went back to see Brittany, and she helped us out by shifting us to another unit that was far more convenient. While this is the end of our first day, I have to say the experience was far better than I had anticipated and that Brittany was fantastic and helping us get settled in. I highly recommend this place.
To the folks at public storage, it would be useful for us to see a map and to know where we need to access the building in order to truly make it a process that requires no intervention whatsoever. While we would’ve found the unit on our own, the map would’ve made it a lot easier.

An appropriately clean facility with plenty of size options for storage, a working elevator, and plenty of space to pull up and unload. The Team Associate Cynthia was friendly and professional both over the phone and in person during the facility tour. The overall process was also relatively straight foward and readily explained.
I would have given 5 stars but 1) can't ever get ahold of anyone in the office. They are never there. I am moving out April 5 & can't get ahold of them. No voice messaging available either when I call. 2) public storage has no renter contract so they raise rent prices frequently. Otherwise, very clean! Easy to use the gate & appreciated the texts acknowledging I had gone through the gate. No rodents. The units are kept in pristine condition overall. There are someone who was stealing the carts and management was consistent in trying get these carts returned. It was thought people were hiding them in their units. Also good security cameras and I felt safe inside the buildings. The elevator broke one day and within several days it was fixed - much appreciated!
I’ve been at this storage facility almost a year and miss Cynthia is the one of kindest people I have ever interacted with. She’s always there to help or answer questions I have had. Thank you for everything!
