Once I arrive at 9am. Nobody was there to assist me. I called and left voice messages with no answer or returned call. Finally at 10:15 I got ahold of someone. Once I entered the building there were signs that stated “no flat beds they’re all missing” my unit is on the 2nd floor. Ms. Cynthia provided me with 2 dollys which I was very appreciative. A 2 hour job took me 7 hours. Buy more flatbeds or stop renting units.
No moving carts, you will need your own dolly/carts/etc to move your things.
Update: i have email, called, left voice message and no return.
When i finally get someone on the phone they tell me the moving carts are a privilege and i would have to figure it out

When i took possesion i declined insurance. To my surprise almost two years later I have been billed monthly for that very same insurance that was declined. Check you bills! Chat customer service is terrible, call center did all right. Insurance company played stupid. For two years of being billed $15 monthly i was offered $50 and a sorry we failed to decline the insurance. That is fraud.
Closed my unit yesterday; rented with them for many years. Never had an issue, they were always nice.
Yesterday, though the front desk person was rude and stated my son left a mess in the unit that she had to clean up. Said he left it wide open, but fortunately he sent me pics of how he left it as well as the location of the key so i knew she wasn't telling the truth. It was clean, swept with 2 bins of donation items going to Goodwill. Unfortunately i dont know how to add the photo here to show how he left the space. Glad to finally be rid of it but didn't appreciate her lying to me.

All of the furniture I stored in my unit got water damage and started growing mold to the point most of it was unsalvageable after just a couple of months. I started a claim because I had gotten insurance on it, I keep getting told by public storage that a manager would get in contact with me so that I wouldn't have to pay for rent while the claim was ongoing. No one ever reached out to me for 2 weeks, until they called to tell me that I was being charged late fees. I told the customer service employee that I was told I would not have to pay and that a manager was supposed to contact me and did not. She said she would have them call me but again they never did. I've been unable to access my unit for the past 4 weeks due to this issue, so I can't take photos of my items for the insurance claim. I ended up paying the due balance so I could at least get that done and hopefully be reimbursed later, the site told me that a manager would have to contact me in 24 hours in order to restore access. That was almost a week ago but yet again I've received no call from anyone and have wasted trips from Baltimore to annapolis just to have no one in the office or answering calls when their hours say they should be open.

Unable to access my unit for 3 days due to unannounced renovations which pushed me into another month of rent. Customer service said that the property manager was off duty due to renovations so there was nothing they could do but submit a credit request which wasn’t approved. The property manager called me days later only to pass the blame to the regional manager who offered the solution of letting my rent run late and they would let me in for my stuff but couldn’t get the arrangement in writing. Overall, don’t trust your belongings here, poorly kept and never anyone on site to help with issues.
BLUF: Whatever deal they're offering, its only good for a few months. I hate to leave a poor review. My husband and I got a great $69/mo deal starting in March 2023 while we were moving around on orders. They upped the rent to $96 in June with no notice and still have the $69/mo deal available to new customers. local store and corporate were unwilling to continue any sort of discounted rate (even matching the % increase in general rent).
Fills icky knowing we chose them for a deal, yet we're just apart of their income scheme. Look elsewhere.
P.s. I left a voicemail in July about strong smells of urine on the second floor. No response still.
Don’t waste your time. They’ll let you “reserve” a unit & call you several times to confirm the floor, date, and price of your unit up until the day of move-in; they then will tell you they DID NOT reserve your unit or your price unless you paid in full before coming into the facility. (Which was never disclosed). So expect to pay the highest price in the area & have to move all of your things to the highest floor with a tiny door, for hundreds of dollars a month. Even though they make you reserve a time to come in “to make sure someone is working” The employees are RUDE and do not do anything to hold up “reservations” they make online. They make it clear “reservations” do not matter, it’s just who comes in with money first to take your unit.
Do not waste your time, instead, go to Self Storage Plus in Odenton, they are NICE, HONEST, and FAST. If you reserve a unit, it’s yours. If you see that (cheap) price, it’s true!! Don’t waste your time or have to deal with these people like I had to.
The customer service at this location is excellent. Ashlyn, was very skilled in helping me evaluate my needs. Even after it was clear climate control was what I needed she helped me find and register for a unit at a different location!

I came to unload my Uhaul truck, got here this morning at 6:15am. Had to enter my code 3 different times to get the gate to open. The signs on the gate entry keypad are very misleading about what steps to take when entering your code. So anyways I finally get through the gate into the lot, park my truck, get up to the door to gain access to the building so I can unload my truck and the keypad keeps telling me my code will not access this building. They do not open until 9:30am so I have no way to speak to anybody until then. I've called all the customer service numbers and can't get anyone on the phone. So because I'm being set back 4 hours this morning I'm now going to have to pay Uhaul for an extra day for my truck I rented. This is absolutely rediculous. I'm honestly debating on demanding a full refund for this unit and going somewhere else.
Amanda has been there a long time and has been incredibly helpful through the years. I've used this place many time throughout the years and have always had great service.

I wish I could write a positive review of this place but unfortunately I cannot. We are a military family that has very little control over when the military can pick up household goods for PCSing. Even though we are only using our unit for 4 days we are still required to pay for the full month at $455. I find it ridiculous that there are not leeway with certain situations, especially when it is largely out of the customers control. For what it is work I cannot and will not recommend this facility to ANY military personally and want to warn others of this outrageous policy. My experience was mostly positive, but this had left a bad taste in my mouth. Be ware before you decide to rent a unit with this GREEDY corporation!!!
