The town of Sellersburg is a small community in Indiana’s Silver Creek Township, tucked in the state’s southeastern corner. The town was officially incorporated in 1890, many years after the first post office opened in 1854. Before incorporation, the town’s name was Sellersburgh, and the “h” was dropped for unknown reasons.
