I'm hesitant to give 5 stars in this case. If I could do a split review I would. 5 stars go 100% to Brandy! She's so nice, so professional and so willing to help in any situation. She makes the cost of storage here almost manageable. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK BRANDY!! On the other hand, the prices here are unmanageable. And they keep going up. We all know covid has hit the heart of America in multiple ways and unfortunately the wallet is one. And you would think Public Storage would not only understand, but would choose not to capitalize on it. Public Storage, nationwide is 94% full. I think that screams how many people are having to store their homes(myself included) and trying to get back into my own home and paying the rates you have and raising them is selfish and greedy. But hey, you were my only option because all other facilities were full as well. So here, I'd give ☆☆.

I originally pulled up to the unit and discovered that there was a very thick layer of ice surrounding the entire area that the unit was in so I decided to go up to the office and see if maybe they could move me to a different unit and was in greeted by Brandy who was incredibly kind and helpful and so understanding. Brandy is exactly the kind of person that you want in customer service positions! She goes above and beyond what is necessary !

I needed a lot of information in order to make sure I was getting the right storage in the best location for my needs. She was very patient and provided details and follow up way above the call. This was the most personalized exchange I can recall having and it began as an internet transaction. I have prior experience with Public Storage so I already know that their platform and processes work very well. The personal touch just takes it to a new level.

Brandy - you asked me to write you a positive review, than complained a bit that no one has in awhile - first that’s is not my issues. However now I see why you might not be getting the reviews you want, only the ones you ask for. I have called in now twice, I didn’t get to speak to anyone but I did leave two voicemails asking you to either kindly please return my phone calls, stating that I moved out of the unit. I also offered Miss Brandy to just email me a copy of my move out receipt, and told her the day I moved out. It is now Friday, it’s been 48 hrs since I’ve moved out and I still haven’t gotten either a phone call from Brandy or a move out receipt sent to the email on file.

Really convenient, and secure as it closes completely after hours. Manager Brandy is fabulous, attentive and available to help.

I just signed up for a unit here. Brandi was absolutely incredible and made the start up process incredibly smooth. Highly recommend this location. Update-2 days after signing up for this storage unit I had a change of plans. I explained since since my sister got a job overseas she sold her furniture and I no longer needed it. I also hadn’t moved a single piece of furniture in or out of the unit. At first they said I couldn’t get a refund for the unit. Then they said they could. I spent $150 or so on 1/18/22. Told them I no longer needed it on 1/20/22. So looking for the refund I see they refunded $23 of $150. In the midst of trying to find somewhere else to live I don’t even want to have the headache of calling and arguing for my money back. The people were nice and this might be a corporate thing, I don’t know, but either way I think it’s a bad practice hence the updated review :/

Brandy has been doing a great job as a manager of this property, she calls us to let us know about our trailer when necessary, she helped me park it one time and was very helpful. She has done a wonderful job sorting out the cars parked on the property, and has don a good job keeping the property clean. Thanks for hiring a person who feels customer service is number on in her work with customers.

Brandi was great as the new property manager. She has been there only about 6 months I'm guessing. The property is clean and the units are very well maintained. I am moving out after renting for about 5 years or so. Mt View is my favorite property in Colorado Springs. I appreciate that Brandi has kept moving items on display. It was so much easier to purchase things there instead of leaving the property just for packing paper. Prices are reasonable. Overall awesome renting experience.

I just got a unit here today, so this may not be the best review to read for an impression of how the facility is long term, but I had a fantastic first impression! I spoke to Brandy, the property manager, who gave me a tour and showed me a unit that was the size I was looking for. I had a couple of concerns which she was able to promptly address, and I felt confident enough in the place that I didn't need to take time deliberating it. She was friendly and helpful, which I really appreciate. The facility itself is showing its age and seems a little run down, but it is clean and tidy. Most of the units are secured behind the gate, so if you need late night access that may be a concern. There is a great app that can be used for access as well as account management, and any supplies that you may need for moving are available from the office.

Wow, just met Brandy, she is Awesome. I’ve been renting a unit at this location for over 2 yrs and I have already noticed positive Changes being made here. It is a relief to feel safe here again.

We got lucky when public storage hired Brandy. She's got great customer service skills, very professional, and savvy as well. My circumstances are unique and although advice wasn't given, options for the property that could accommodate me were. I would recommend this storage to anyone and if the property is an option, definitely go with this one! Thanks guys, and Brandy, you're appreciated. Happy 4th!

I can not thank Brandy enough for the excellent customer service. She is friendly and has an upbeat positive attitude. I was looking at a larger unit and realized I needed less space. She got me into a unit a size down and was very informative on what I needed to do for moisture control. The next few days I was dropping things off and she came over to make sure the unit was up to par and that I had everything I needed. Thank you Brandy for all you help. You're killin the game!

I'm not one to regularly write reviews but I could not pass up the opportunity to shed light on Ms. Brandy. I called into the office to get some information and Ms. Brandy was so very helpful, she is such an angel. If I had a business at this very moment, I feel she is such an asset I would hire her in a New York second including paying for travel relocation, because I recognize if an employee is just an employee or an asset and as I said she's an asset. I don't know what her salary is right now but without a doubt she deserves a raise and I don't mean a few nickles. God Bless you Ms. Brandy and I pray you get everthing you deserve in life 😊

Brandy was a true champion. In spirit and in deed. She did not have exactly what I wanted on her location, so she called every other branch that had the possibility of having what I required. They were all full at the moment but she found a workable solution. Would be and will return next time I have storage needs.

This is a well run establishment and the prices are fair on the storage facilities. Also they open early and close late.

To whom it concerns. Publuc Storage you have a great manager at the Mount View site, Mrs Shantel. She is very helpful and knows her job very well. Even thou I found out that I didn't need a storage but she almost sold me with her great Public Storage Customer Service attitude. A+

She was gracious to make herself available if I had questions about the online process . When I arrived I noted the facility was clean and well maintained. What is your policy about cancellation

Highly suggest the ACTUAL cooperate manager give me a call regarding taking my $100 payment after being OUT of a storage unit. Employees giving WRONG information stating you have until a certain date to vacate the unit, and then money still automatically taken out of my account. This will be a BBB complaint and this story will go public. Don't ever set up auto payment with this company. they will still take your payment and no refund offered. Even their local "manager" said we were a ok to vacate on a certain date and payment was still taken, after less than 30 days or use. Illegally taking payments.Rolando should be fired immediately or have to pay for my payment that still got taken out....

Rolando is extremely rude, unprofessional, lets not forget a liar. I've been with publicstorage almost 2 years. I always pay on time. I pay for a 24 hour access storage unit. I paid for the month of August in about 2 weeks ago Rolando informed me that it was here say I was living in my storage. Mind you I have a job in my own place I don't need to stay in a storage unit so he continued to tell me and now I'd be unlimited access due to me being at my unit after hours. How is it after hours when I pay for 24-hour access? So I email corporate to inform them what was going on no call backs no email no nothing. Follow my day go back to my storage unit and there was informed that since I contacted corporate that the owner Chad Morris Rolando to put me on office hours which is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. so now I'm getting targeted by Chad Morris and Rolando because what they are doing to me is not fair and I am formed to somebody. The last time I was at my storage unit I took my son with me. As Rolando walked by my son, he hit my son with his shoulder. I work during the day time the only time I have to get into my storage unit is at night. These people are very unprofessional and if you do not want an issue at all do not rent a storage unit from them

So don't store your stuff here, its expensive and I don't personally have a storage here but my friend does. She pays on time, every month for a unit on the outside because she was told she'd have 24 hour access. Well apparently thats not true because if your there at early hours cleaning stuff out, thats considered living in it. So without warning or asking her anything, they put their own lock on and now have only allowed her to get to HER SPACE, between 8 and 6. The contract states that if they suspect anything such as you living in Your Space, they will give you 3 days to come and open it yourself so they can inspect it.. The actual storage hours for within the gated area is open til 10. They are a rip off and she will be seeking legal help due to the fact she is an essential worker and can only get to the storage after 11 pm or before 8. She works all day. If i could give this place no stars I would.

Orlando, the employee on hand was extremely rude. I raised an issue with one of their policies and he said "You think a multi million dollar company cares about your convenience?". I also raised an issue with a homeless person who was living on the premises. He told me he was unaware of this person and dismissed my concerns about security. He then proceeded to call another employee to tell them that the homeless person was back again. He was very dismissive and rude.Terrible customer service experience.

I had to give them 5 stars or they might go up on my rent. AGAIN! For seemingly no reason whatsoever. Every year. Right in the old kiester. So 5 stars it is. They earned it. I can't be to hard on them though. They finally got the electricity back on during the third year. One month on . Then dark and cold for a coupla years. Then back on again. Yeaaa. Preciate ya. Stellar job guys.

Moving is never fun, and nothing ever seems to go right. Cindy made sure everything went right for us when it came getting us set up for a unit. Got us to a bigger size that we needed and helped us with our snafus along the way. Couldn't have gotten better service anywhere.

I've been renting here for almost a year. Cindy is amazing. She's so helpful and always answers my questions with a smile.

It is a secure place for storing your too large items or other treasures. Gate times are generous but not 24/7. They will notify you if you miss the due date so you don't get behind.

Need 24 hour acces

Horrible. Managers apartment had tons of smelly garbage bags piled up. Just so happens it was right next to our unit. Also there was always a car parked infront of our unit was told its the night managers roommate. We moved out of our unit on june 2nd and there trying to charge us for the full month. Place is a joke. UPDATE: Tiffany the district manager reached out to me. From what i understand is if you are in the unit 3days or 3weeks you owe for the whole month. Tiffany did however take care of the bill for june and expressed her apologizes for that policy not being explained and for the issues with the managers apartment. Very grateful she reached out and made things right. Not very often you come across a company that will do that. For that reason i changed my review from one star to 3.

I can't say enough how much I love public storage. Like, u can put things in it and drive away. A lot of people live in these particular units and will approach you in a zombie like manner. Most at this location are coming from their units after smoking meth or doing heroin. I can't say why this particular location is inhabited by meth monsters but most aren't. All I can advise is if you must store on mount view. Do like I do and go armed.

Insert Rollando into hero status!! I literally (nicely, respectfully) yanked the door out of his hands, riding at 6:04 on a Friday evening to rent a unit. He valiantly took me on a tour filled with information, and although I knew he was ready to leave to start his weekend he gave me excellent full service with no questions left unanswered all being done with the smile. Cindy the locations manger was awesome! I was having a really stressful time with my move out, and she was extra helpful and made the whole thing a ton easier....... I rented back in 2016 with a different manager, and Cindy is night and day above abobe and beyond!!!!

Friendly staff & excellent online deals but when you go to get your storage unit DONT FORGET YOUR LOCK. An $8. lock costs me $20. & I had no other option but to purchase it, as I had to have a lock to keep the price I reserved online. The 9pm curfew sucks and you can not be late. Other than that, if you pay online or by phone there is a charge anywhere from $10-20.

The Public Storage on Mount View is a clean and secure storage facility. I rented a large exterior unit for a very reasonable cost. Their prices are a bit lower than the other storage companies in the area. This facility is conveniently located for anyone going to UCCS or moving to the North Central region of The Springs. The staff is helpful and always available to assist. Cathy was really great to work with. My son and I appreciated her kindness and consideration during our stay. My girlfriend & I have 2 storage units at this facility that are both outside the gate. I got both units outside the gate because they have 24 hour access due to my work schedule being 24/7. A couple of weeks ago they asked us to vacate by the 30th of this month. May 25th, 2018 Vincent, the onsite manager came up to Dawn (my girlfriend) & said that we weren't allowed in our units outside of business hours due to things being left out front of the units & being at storage anytime of day or night. Our rent on both units are paid currently through the end of the month. Public Storage refuses to put any thing in writing and puts everything on the District Manager. Why won't they put anything in writing? Because they are guilty of shady business dealings at minimum.

These people are so cool, patient, and understanding!! I'm having financial trobules and they GRACIOUSLY have given me more time to pay!! You guys are great..thanks😎😎
