I have my stuff in one of these storage rooms. The women are snobby, they are always saying we are doing something wrong. I'm moving my stuff asap. Women that work there very poor costumer Assurant. Never again

Horrible customer service. My price for my unit went up by $70 dollars a month and I’m unable to get ahold of anyone there. I’m a truck driver and I’m not able to be there in person to take care of this. It’s Frustrating and seem like an attempt to steel my property that is stored there.

I gave two stars for friendly, helpful staff only. Rates increased outrageously every year. They do not prorate your month’s rent when you move out like every other storage unit I’ve had in the past. Explanation was that it’s too complicated to do that.

I've been using Public Storage located at 1159 N Columbus Blvd in Tucson Arizona since November of 2021 and this has been a great facility. Tina the manager has been very helpful and I would recommend this public storage to anyone and everyone needing a storage unit in this area.

I've been with them for years. After dealing with some health issues and a few deaths in my family (storing my deceased parents and deceased in laws things). I hadn't been to the unit for around a year. In that time my lock was changed according to the receipt they gave me by someone not on my account. All of my wife's things are gone. My electronics, camping gear most of my library. All they left was some of my deceased mother's dishes. Some of them. The things they probably considered worthless. I'll have to file a police report. I can't believe it. I can't. On top of all that I went through my bank statement and they charged me for the lock and had an imaginary person sign for it. Using my card on file. Phone numbers change but I've had the same email since 2003. No notification. My emergency contact was never notified. His number is.his business line and has never changed.

I was in a bit of a bind moving my home and business to Arizona and needed a temperature controlled storage asap. My husband called around and discussed what was needed with Charlotte. She was so pleasant and informative that my husband suggested I select Public Storage on Columbus. I came into town and when I arrived at the storage my reserved rental unit was ready to go. Both Charlotte and Tina are gems. They were very friendly, honest, and professional. I've rented storage units before and the workers have not impressed. At this location, the experience was the exact opposite. Charlotte walked me to the unit, explained move in procedures, insurance, hours, cart use...no stone was left unturned. I know in 6 months, Public Storage will probably raise my rates. Then, I'll be disappointed and want to move. But for now, the honeymoon phase, is great. I appreciate the rental when I needed it and will try to find a more permanent location.

After I vacated the locker she offered to check it and let the powers that be know it’s been cleaned and emptied. I was very impressed with the layout, cleanliness and security features of the property. However, it was the staff who validated my decision. The office agent, Tina, was extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the company's terms and procedures. Those assets were key components that allowed for a speedy registration process. I am confident that my belongings will be safe and secure and that I made the right choice in Public Storage.

Tina is great! Straight answers, clear instructions, caring service. In contract, the central answering service gave conflicting answers, seemed bored and impatient. Definitely a turn off. But Tina to the rescue. I asked the central answering service to talk to the local manager. Tina called back. Did not try to sell, just was helpful and caring. I called back after comparing 6 other storage facilities - for clarification and got straight answers. Then visited the facility and was given a tour by Tina. Every thing seemed clean and tidy. Tina's service was so much better than the central answering service.

Excellent experience. Moving from an indoor, climate controlled unit to a drive-up unit. The "paperwork" portion of the rental process was fully automated, and took less than 5 minutes in the office. OUTSTANDING customer service. My only problem is that the non-climate controlled, outdoor unit cost just as much as the second level climate controlled unit. I would have expected a difference there. ACCESS HOURS WERE RECENTLY EXPANDED, DEFINITELY EASING THE PAIN.

Spent a few hours here today organizing a unit and had my car radio on the hole time. Once I finished and was getting ready to leave I realized the radio was no longer on and when I tried starting my car realized the battery had died. I asked went to the office and asked for a jump and Tina was kind of enough to take the time to drive her personal vehicle over to me and give me a jump. She was very kind and really helped me out of a jam!

I got a GREAT deal on a HUGE storage room. I currently have a hernia and not much help from family and friends to move right now. Ashleigh and Alec were EXTREMELY helpful, kind and understanding! There is no charge to use the hand-truck which has been a huge help especially since I'm doing most of the moving alone. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I are looking to move soon and are in need of a storage unit. I've had problems in the past so I want to do my research before we trust anyone with our stuff. The facility looked very clean and well kept. I still had a few questions about pricing and lease length because we are not sure how long we will need it. The man who helped us was very kind and was able to answer all my questions without having to go look them up while I waited. His name was Joaquin. I don't normally take the time to write a review but I felt like I needed to shine a light on this man and his wonderful customer service. I believe I found my storage facility that I can trust.

My wife insisted that I write a review on this place because of the wonderful assistance we received from the gentleman there. Joaquin was very helpful with everything we needed. He had the answers to all of our questions and the the place seems quite nice.

Excellent facility. Very friendly and professional. Keep you informed ahead of time that the payment is due. They have been very fair about late fees due to the pandemic issues not having payment on time.

Amazing people and clean facility

I arrived at this storage unit after a horrible experience at another self storage business in town. The difference was night and day. The staff member at the desk gave a polite greeting right away and was helpful and friendly. This was in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, and he had a mask on, and there were boxes neatly stacked to create a 6 ft social distancing measure. Everything was clean and highly professional. Checking in was seamless and easy.

Tara and Jon were incredible at the front desk. I’ve never had a better experience renting a storage unit!

Facility is great! Super clean and quiet. My only complaint (and this has ended up being a dealbreaker for me, as I'm currently clearing out my unit) is that the times you can access your unit are so very limited. I need to be able to access my stuff after 5 or 6 pm and with most storage unit facilities, you can. But here, you cannot. But other than that, and maybe the fact that in the span of 18 months my unit's monthly cost has nearly doubled, I have nothing bad to say about this company/facility. I felt safe keeping my belongings here, especially knowing they are in a climate-controlled environment.

Had a wonderful experience with Ashleigh, we looked at 2 different units and ultimate chose the larger space for our needs. Remarkably clean, the employees were kind and knowledgeable and Ashleigh was so sweet and obviously knew what she was doing. 5/5 would definitely recommend Public Storage in the future!

I reserved a unit online. The Customer Service at this location is Superior! The whole facility is well secured and very clean. The prices are good. I definitely recommend Public Storage on Columbus.

My husband and I want to thank both Ashleigh and Jesse for such superior service today, May 4. We needed a storage space last minute for our son’s belongings for summer and they were so helpful in showing us a unit and getting our paperwork done efficiently and quickly. And they both are super friendly and had great suggestions for packing and keeping storage space humidity free!! This location is close to the UA campus and easy to get to and access. I just visited this site and was very favorably impressed first with the cleanliness of the whole area, then as I went in the Office I was greeted warmly and very courteously by Ashleigh who was so kind and attentive as to show us around the place and took us to look at a unit size we were interested in renting. Ashleigh also answered all my questions and doubts (which were many; this being my first Storage). After all this we decided to go Online and Separate a Unit basing our decision on how well the place is kept, Security, specially attention to Customer, Rental Price (taking advantage of the Online Offer at the time). After going through the usual paperwork we were taken again to our Assigned Unit and we actually were asked to try the assigned Security Codes ourselves and use the Special Tumbler lock to actually try it and finally Lock the Storage Door. A great experience for us specially for having Ashleigh take good care of the whole process ! I fully recommend this place for all yourStorage needs !

I already have a storage unit and gate code. I would like to enter my storage unit after hours. Does anyone know if there is 24 hour access? Or is there a certain times of the day you can enter/exit your storage unit?

This public storage really went above and beyond with customer service, Thanks to Ashleigh! As well as a very trust worthy and comfortable atmosphere. I know my belongings are in a good place and that helps me rest assured at night, thank you public storage for exceeding anything I could have ever wanted in a storage facility.

I reseved a unit online because the website stated that the gate hours or 6 Am to 9 pm. I found out after paying that the gate hours are actually 9:30 to 6:00. And call their customer service to no prevail. Spoke to the girl in the office she said she would contact your manager and get back to me about a refund because they have a no-refund policy. I'm wondering why it's okay to have false advertising and bait and switch people. Nowadays all you get is a I'm sorry about that.

What was truly remarkable was the way the young lady. She made you at ease and was meticulous in explaining the rules and addressing the needof a two day notice when vacating. The overall appearance of the public storage facility demonstrated a great deal of pride in the work place. It is not possible to overlook the cleanliness of everything. Very sharp, very noticeable, you cannot help but "this is the place". I also would like to say thank you very much Ashliegh. You were very helpful and you made me feel very much at ease. Thank you for taking the time to explain the important details.

This location is the best ever!! Wanna know why?! Because they have the most awesome manager, Ashleigh!!!! She's probably the coolest person there... although they do have good customer service there, she definitely makes the place worth 5 stars!!! The place is always clean, its very welcoming, and an overall a great place to store your goods.

Price gouging upon renting second unit. No consideration (only highest rent) for being a customer already; only good deals to suck in new customers. New hours useless if one has a job especially. They wipe out early morning use and evening hours as well. Actually, pretty useless even if one does not have a job !

I definitely recommend this place. I've used a number of storage facilities in the past and Public Storage and A-1 are both the best. Ashleigh at this branch set everything up for me. Ashleigh was amazing today! We walked in with a reservation that was made just an hour before and was out in 30 minutes with touring the unit and doing all of the paperwork. She made it clear and easy and gave us a promotion of $1 rent for the first month. Unit was broken into. Lost a family heirloom. Looked like the unit was left open for an extended period. They had the nerve to charge me for the new lock on top of it.

Good business

Absolutely horrible experience at this location. My storage unit was broken into two different times from October until April. Although, the staff claims to check the units daily, it was not discovered for three weeks. I went to check on my unit and found the lock broken. My unit wasn't the only unit broken into. Staff said they were working on providing better security but it never happened. The second time my unit was broken into there were no signs of forced entry. Makes my wonder how they got into my unit. If you'd like to verify the amount of burglaries reported at this place. Call Tucson Police and request the crime stats at this address.

Fast,Friendly, and easy. They were very knowledgeable, helpful, and enthusiastic to help me find the right storage unit for me and my needs. It was a good overall experience.

I recently had a complicated storage challenge, and the three employees who assisted me--Jesse, David, and Jon--were as kind and helpful as they could be. I was having a knee issue on one of my visits, and I even called Jesse "my knight in shining armor" because he was exceptionally caring and helpful. My thanks to you all!!

David and Kevin were great. My husband and I reserved a unit online and were told rudely by Estelle that if we weren't there by 11am we would lose the unit. Luckily, my husband called that morning and told David we had and emergency to deal with and were running late but we were coming and they were professional and understanding. They even offered to push our move in appointment to the next day. They were both professional and courteous. The storage building was clean and kept up. David was able to answer all of our questions and was in tune with our concerns on security.

Good place been there for two months so far and its been awesome!

We met with Ashley at this location. I must say that it was VERY nice to speak with her. She was friendly and polite, she told us all about the different spaces and showed us the one we rented.

They do not have a 24 hour emergency phone number. There are no security cameras to watch the storage spaces. Many have been tampered with and some broken into.

Came in to shop some pricing around my area, and this was my first stop. Estelle was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and really knows what she is doing. No need to shop other places with customer service like this, Im sold... Thank you Estelle.....
