So it’s about 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon on a gloomy overcast day. Unfortunately, I’m forced to go to our storage unit to check on something for a client, To add insult to injury somebody on my team gives all of the keys mixed up, and I’m not even sure if we have the key to the storage unit. Dreading the idea of having to figure it out and try to find a solution to get into the storage unit reluctantly, I start making my way. As I pull through the gate I see a gentleman in the distance, sweeping up trash, blown all over the parking lot from the storm, He’s obviously doing his best to make the parking lot look good for us customers. By the time I make my way through the gate, he is actually in their shop unit looking for something. I rudely belt out from my truck excuse me can I ask you a question. Coming from behind the golf cart with a huge smile, ready to assist as a gentleman named Peter, He politely said with a smile, how can I help you, sir? I explained to my dilemma that we had six units and I was unsure if I had the keys. I asked him about being able to get into the other unit if unfortunately, I was unable to find Find the key; he told me he could absolutely help me get in and just to come back and let him know if I needed his assistance. First of all a person who was actually willing to help without having to fill out papers and 10 request oh, that’s pretty awesome…. After that, he said hey excuse me, did you say you have six units? To which I replied, yes. Peter said unsolicited mind you: we actually have a lot of specials going on right now and for this many units I might be able to save you some money. Would you mind giving me all of your unit numbers and your name and phone number? I can do some checking for you and see what I can do. Reluctantly, with zero expectations, I said sure no problem. I went to the unit and luckily I actually did have the key on another key ring so I did not need to have Peter assist me getting into the unit but before I left the facility I actually got two phone calls from Peter asking me a couple of additional questions, And before I could even drive off of the parking lot, Peter called me a third time to let me know that he had actually just saved us almost $225 in monthly fee fees. Most people would be excited about that and that would probably be the reason that they were leaving a review but actually the $225 isn’t that big of a deal to me. We actually build our fees back to the client so it’s really no money out of my pocket lol, What I was actually impressed about in the reason I’m leaving this review is it is so rare in this day and age to find a person who is so willing to help, so willing to do their job, and so willing to put the customer first! It has been so long since I had received this kind of service that I was shocked by the whole exchange. When I sit my team down for a meeting next week to talk about kindness and service, it will not be the $225 that I emphasize focus on or bring up in my meeting. It will be the fact that one man just because he was open to possibilities change the course of my day and rekindled my faith in the American work ethic. I had a public storage here for roughly 6 months and it was easy as pie, lock was fun and easy to open, my storage had ample amount of space, I fit in 3 super giant bean bags, washer and dryer, and tons more stuff easily fit inside. When it was time to give up the keys and end my membership it was as simple as one quick phone call and an image of my storage being empty, they told me keep the lock and take care. Easy, reliable, and I just happened to memorize my pin to get inside/outside the storage but they give you an option to I believe have an app to quickly open / scan the gate which I chose not to use. Thank you again

Came in today with my girlfriend to get a storage unit, Michael was extremely helpful and the process was fast and smooth, amazing service! Great facility, clean and not blistering hot inside. If you’re looking for a storage unit in the Tempe area I highly recommend this place and hopefully you get Michael to lead you through the process.

This place is one of the best storage places we have used the manager of the property is very nice and helpful my stuff is safe. I would recommend this place to who ever is looking for a safe clean spot to store your belongings

Boy I was surprised when I went inside to get a storage space, everything was automatic you talk to screen. for been many years since I used a storage area. But everything went smoothly like everything else. Everything is getting automatic now. Nice facilities thank you

I have rented from a lot of storages over the last 20 years with my business and by far this storage is the safest feeling and most professional that I've been at. Peter's in excellent manager does a great job of keeping the property under control and cleaned up and all the people that come in and work on the days that he is not here are definitely good young men and women. I never have a feeling of being unsafe when I'm in this facility even if I'm by myself. I would highly suggest out of all the public storages even though it's an outside facility and no climate control this would be a choice that you would pick.

I deal with a lot of different storage company's and deal in buying the auction lockers as well. You get a sense that most don't care or care to be available when you need something. Not only is Peter (the manager at the location) AVAILABLE but he actually is a great guy himself. The place is very well maintained and kept taking away the feeling of being somewhere rundown that you have to look over your shoulder all the time (or that feeling you need to). I will 100% be dealing with this location as much as possible. When you find the good ones you mark them on the map. Mark this one

Out of all the storage places I've rented at, this location is the best. I feel my stuff here is safe and the management here is friendly and fair. As long as I need a storage unit in Scottsdale, I will use public storage units and this location on McDowell rd!

I have had a unit here for well over a year and I must comment on the how great the management is. I typically deal with Debbie, the manager, but the entire team is good to work with. Debbie is always kind, professional, and polite. She always greets customers with a smile and is willing to help in any way she can. She also goes the extra mile to always keep the facility clean and in working order and to accommodate the needs of renters.

Purchased a unit in the auctions this was my first experience and the manager Debbie has been amazing the units are out side but there is a very clean well kept restroom available easy to find by the gate. The place is kept incredibly clean and Debbie has really made an incredible impression on us during this experience.. I really have never been more pleased with how we have been treated thank you ..

All outside units allow dirt into the unit (I get it) but these doors need some type of rubber flap for the door perhaps a roll-Up door rather than swing door. The staff, Peter specifically was very helpful and friendly.

Good location and pricing. Doesn't have the best selection of space and most have swing doors as opposed to roll-up/garage doors, but Peter was incredibly helpful.

Stop by here the other day I think I spoke to a gentleman named Pete. I had questions about all the different size units. I got all my questions answered. This Public storage is close to my home and convenient for me too.

The hours at this location are perfect! It was clean and the staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Peter was especially helpful. The location was just a bit to far for me, otherwise I would have rented the space.

i had a horrible experience at life storage in tempe after they bought out allstate storage. i packed my things out of that unit and had no where to put it. the online rental application was extremely easy to navigate and i ended up getting into my unit the same day, within minutes!!! i love that the storage facility hours are so flexible. the process was so thorough and easy to complete. the woman that came on the video call at the self service kiosk was so knowledgeable, personable and FRIENDLY! thank you for making this such an easy process!

I love that I can get to my unit until 9pm and that they open at 6am. The flexibility to put stuff in storage early or late during the summer played a big part in my decision to use this place. I have used quiet a few storage facilities around the valley and this one is by far the best one yet. Love the drive -up access also.

They've been helpful sometimes it requires a little something extra and they've given that. Good Job guys.

I really like the self service kiosk. Also if you need help just press the call button and a live agent will answer in video call to assist you. The storage unit we got was very clean. Very well pleased with the entire experience. Prices are reasonable as well.
