Gotta say I’m not happy with how the fees keep getting added to my account. Rent is due on the 1st True enough but after my rent was raised almost $40 without me noticing, I tried to get it fixed. Waited for them to adjust the balance which lead to a $32 fee being added along with the rent increase. The storages aren’t even that big for the prices and it was the 8th I paid my bill. Almost $200 for a storage that isn’t that big. It’s insane… the fees, the random rent increases, all too much. The rent started from $132 and not it’s $164. The next month isn’t even due yet and my balance is $175 AFTER getting approved for a rent decrease of $164! HOW??! Of course I couldn’t get any answers until $200 for one month was paid. I don’t recommend using them and I won’t be using them again…

Anna & Kriste we’re extremely helpful and made my rental of a storage unit easy and pleasurable. They guided me through the process and gave me tips and tricks about maintaining the storage unit. I highly recommend using the Public Storage facility at Grelot and Hillcrest in Mobile, AL.

This location has a wonderful property manager who is very helpful and just a delightful person to interact with! There is also a district manager and she is completely the opposite! She is a nosy,bitter,and angry human being! Who has no business in customer service or dealing in anyway with the public in general every time I go to the storage unit that I PAY to use and hold all of my personal belongings she always has something to say about how long I’ve been there or if I have a piece of paper out of place! Whenever I leave this facility next month it is directly related to my experience with this woman

In all public storage is a good facility .maybe not some of the property managers or staff .but management upstairs is really nice and understanding. Thank you.

Items were stolen from our locker at this location, however, since the statute of limitations has expired there is literally nothing we can do about the thieves that work at this public storage except warn others not to leave their belongings there. This place is poorly managed and the employees will steal your stuff. They are counting on the fact that you won't notice which of your things are missing until it is too late to do anything. Public Storage: We want our original artwork and my autographed books back.

Good thing it wasn't raining had to get out of your car to put the code in . When you're leaving you have to get out of your car and walk about 25' to put the exit code in. It would really suck if it was raining.

I had the most amazing experience at public storage located in Mobile Alabama on grelot road and Miss Libby very nice lady she went beyond what she needed to explain to me she answered all of my questions and was very patient, the facility is very very clean I was totally impressed by that and even now when I go in to make my monthly payments she's the same person so she's a value to public storage you don't get that nowadays so I appreciate her and how nice and clean the facility is I would recommend it to anyone... I was very pleased with my overall experience with Public Storage! Libby was very helpful over the phone and Christy was great when I checked-in. They were both very nice and concerned with making sure I had everything I needed. Both were a pleasure to talk to. My code didn't work initially but Christy had it fixed in about 5 minutes and it has worked well ever since. The unit was clean and seems to be faring well so far. The only issue I have with the facility is the gate. The keycode is hard to reach going in and out. I wish it was open later than 9 and I wish I didn't have to worry about being locked in if I am there past 9.

The lady that rented me the unit is very nice and kind....she even called just today to remind me to pay so I could not incur late fees. Other than that....I am distressed that my rental fee went up after only a few months....I would understand if a year had passed and I was sent a letter and given a choice to move my things....but this didn't happen. The bill went up with no warning. This is not a way to run a business. The light fixture in my unit has NEVER worked and the lady knew this when she rented it to me. No offer of a discount. The payment I just paid, $99.00, will be the last. I will be removing my things from this unit prior to the end of the month unless I receive a credit for the broken light fixture or the increased rent is refunded back to me. Also, the day I moved my things in, we became trapped inside the grounds because it was not explained to me that the gate was locked after 6PM, even if you were INSIDE. And when exiting, you have to get out out of your vehicle to enter the exit codes......no one cares anymore but I can take my business a little further out of town and save money! After all, I don't need access on a regular basis anyway and don't mind driving a little further to save money.

I wasn't sure what to expect since it was my first time using storage in this city and state and I was pleasantly surprised. We have used this location for personal storage before and now for our church. Units are safe, clean and well lit. Michelle and Libye are very nice to work with and they always look out for your benefit. Highly recommend, great customer service!
