Do not store your belongings here. My unit was broken into and approximately $3,000 worth of my property was stolen.
I had been renting my storage unit for less than a month when it was broken into. The lock appeared to have been picked, and roughly half of the belongings in my unit were taken. I was out of town when it happened.
I reported the break-in and LAPD came by to investigate. They were unable to determine exactly how the person got into the unit, other than the possibility that the lock had been picked. I also discovered that theft is common at these facilities.
Unfortunately, my experience with Public Storage after the break-in was extremely disappointing. I received very little assistance from the facility staff. Their insurance also did not cover my loss. I later learned from the policy's fine print that theft resulting from a picked lock was excluded from coverage, which was exactly what appeared to have happened in my case.
I was also surprised to learn that the facility's cameras do not cover the inside of the storage units, just the lobby. I repeatedly asked staff to review the available lobby footage, but each time I followed up, I was told they had not had time to go through it. I never received meaningful assistance or follow-up regarding the footage.
The experience also made me realize how important it is to carefully understand what their insurance actually covers before storing anything of value there. In my case, I paid for coverage and still ended up absorbing thousands of dollars in losses.
On top of that, my monthly rate was increased within a few months after I initially signed up under a promotional rate.
Overall, don't rent here, If you do not want your property stolen.

Lowest rate i could find in the valley for what i needed specifically. Great location, always clean, no bad vibes. Unfortunately, i had to close my unit because of financially issues. But moving out was just as easy as moving in.
This is a popular location. Lots of people coming and going leaving it dirty after hours. During office hours, the friendly, professional crew take care of the property and make it look good again.
I’ve rented here for a while now and the staff and the hours make this a great location. Shout out to Alex for his patience and expertise. Always exceptional service when he’s behind the counter.
Edit: wow so much has changed in such a short amount of time. this site is never secure anymore. Gates and doors left wide open, multiple instances of lockers being broken in to. Dirty parking lot, people leaving trash everywhere with no where to put it. A restroom that is never unlocked for people to use. An overall, bad experience almost every time.

Deceptive business practice. Feel like I’ve been scammed. Signed for a $120/mo and after only 3 months was raised to $175/mo without warning. When I asked about rental increases upon signing I was told “I can’t tell you how much it’ll increase but it’s usually less than $20 and we will let you know 30 days in advance”. No email & claim to have sent mail but I have received nothing. No one able to answer the phone to assist. Employee says this was determined by the “algorithm” lol.
Do not fall for this scam. No matter how nice they seem.

I've been renting a unit at this location since March of this year. After four months I received an email stating my rent would be increasing by 37.5%% starting August, from $168 to $231. It's stated in the contract however; if public storage has the propensity to raise your rent by that much within that little amount of time, such a policy should be stipulated verbally. I will definitely be moving out before the end of the month.
Diamond and Alex help me rent a beautiful storage space it’s so clean and cool and they made it very easy and uncomplicated. This is a great place to rent a storage best place I’ve ever rented a storage so far.

Today I got a space at this location of public storage. The entire experience was smooth from beginning to end. Alex helped me sign up and was beyond helpful with the process. He explained everything step by step and also provided great information about future changes with pricing, allowing me to be aware of it and not feel surprised by any changes. The facility was clean, well equipped and presentable. I must say, quite impressed.
Victor was so nice and he was patient and did a very good and professional job and I am very satisfied with his doing my storage need!!

From customer service, to in person, and online. It all is very disappointing. I tried to finish a reservation online. All I got was locked out of my account. Finally logged back in and there is no option to finish my reservation so I had to go in person. That was even worse no one is ever in the office. I waited about an hour nothing. So I decided to call and see if I could finish it through the phone wasn’t allowed to either got transferred to their office number but like expected no answer since there is no one in the office. Someone mentioned they are usually walking the property makes sense but maybe hire two to three people so they can help customers you know jst throwing out crazy ideas since they say on their voicemail “customers are important to them”.

I went a couple of days ago because I didn't know how some customer's open the gate without getting out of the car.
I went to the office and the young lady there Glendi help us install the app on our phones (my dad's and myself) she explain the benefits of the app and took us outside to show us how to open the gate very convenient feature thank you for your help Glendi.

The WORST customer service. Unfortunately, this facility has been giving me the run around.
Made arrangements to have access at 7pm and even called the main line prior so that I can take time off work to make it at that time. When I tried to access with passcode., it did not give me access!
I have been calling since last night with no avail. The outgoing VM says that a manager will make contact, but nothing. Furthermore, the number they provide on their system for after hour access, is a WRONG number. The person who owns the number, contacted me to let me know they receive calls “all the time from public storage customers”! This is an outrage considering the monthly amounts that keep going up every year! I will be contacting Better Business Bureau as my next course of action.
Do better for your paying customers!

Great service by property manager Vicky. She makes process quick and easy. Has patience and shows you different units to see which best works as. Property is drive up so make it even easier to unload and super clean units. Highly recommend location ask for Vicky she’s awesome and super friendly. Also , speaks Spanish!
