Public Storage in Concord can be found right at the intersection of Davidson Highway and U.S. Route 601, roughly two miles south of I-85.

Heather, at the Concord office was delightful and helpful.
Customer to customer, go to the site and see the unit. Then I would advise that you check the online price to get the best price for the unit. The office does not offer the deals that online offers.
I visited this storage location and I had one of the best experience. I've been a customer for the past 3yrs . Ms. Amanda was so courteous, and easy to communicate with. It was like I had known her for years . Id go back there everytime when I have any situation regarding my storage space. She was the best . Patient n very accurate . Thank you AMANDA ❤️

The unit had Water 💧 entering it , insects, Crock roaches, Mold, Black ⚫️ Mold plus Fungus
NO WEATHER STRIPES on the bottom of the Gate the old one had rotten away !!!
When I reported that my belongings had damages that's when all HELL STARTED
My sofas, stools, dressers, Mirrors 🪞, Clothes, Shoes 👞 and Legal Documents etcs....
Amanda Weaver the Property Manger and some of her staff spoke to me RUDE!!!
They were yelling and screaming on the phone at me whenever I called and used profinty (cuss words)
TOLD me that's on you when you put your things in our Units you are taking a Chance you should have known Better!!!
One staff member even came out their mouth told me they did not have time to listen to me and did not Want to hear it
Plus, told me they did not care because they are going to Quit any way because the place full of S
Most of the time staff is never available on the property when need them
You have to called the 1-800 number and they lie to you and say within 48 hours someone will be calling 📞 you and you never get a responses from them TRUST ME I KNOW
A few days ago I brought inside the front office where Amanda Weaver is located by the entrance some of my belongings and showed her my shoes 👞 with BLACK MOLD
All over them she told me move them back don't putt them to close girl that's dangerous and she put on a face mask
And for Months I have been trying to explain and show them but they have been lying over and over again to me and insurance company trying to cover their behinds
My unit F624 most of my items were trashed 🗑
Plus I were Not allowed 🚫 to used the dumper on the property
I was told by the manager if did they would fine me $10,000 dollars 💸
Therefore I had take the damaged items with me with Water damage, fungus and Black Mold
Angie Potts was not Helpful she is the Area manager I spoke with her twice then after that she would not return my calls
The insurance company is Orange 🍊 Door 🚪 don't waste your time with them They are not going to be any help
The place has pot holes
When it rain out side they are fulled with water and right ✅️ in front of some of the units is pot holes
I was told that I could not used the dumpers but I witness other customers using it right in front of the staff
They took items out of their units just the other day as well
I have proof of everything I'm saying
All in all the place is a mess from the employees they talk about each other
Disrespect their customers
And the property is unkempt

I had such a run around attempting to find help at the public storage with unmanned facility. I travel to all the nearby storage facilities to get help from an actual person. My frustration began to boil over until I ran into Ms. Heather who went above and beyond to help me with with my issue. I cannot stress enough the importance of public storage keeping employees like her to solve problems that might arise or have fallen in the cracks. She genuinely turned a 1 star experience into a five and these things make the difference. I would now def recommend everyone to public storage for their space needs. Except maybe not the unmanned locations.

I'm getting ready for moving from state to state and called around to price a few options. I got Amanda w on the phone and instantly I can see that she had a willingness to assist. It is very hard to make a connection over the phone but she had no problem doing that she was very friendly she made me laugh she even guaranteed the if I rented here I would probably never move out as she's had many of her tenants for years because she's built a very good relationship with them. Lol. Honestly I love that! We are moving a five bedroom house and she provided options for the biggest down to a medium size depending on what we were taking with us we asked several questions and at no point that I feel like she was discouraged or upset or felt bothered. That is rare to find. Her attitude her suggestions for also products to help us keep our belongings safe, just down to her positive vibes. Her customer service is absolutely exceptional and when my husband gets home I think we're going to make the decision to rent here. I want to thank you for employing such wonderful people

Update: We continue to get good service. Once a representative called to let us know that even though the door was closed with the lock on it, we didn't secure it properly. She explained what happened and how to correct it and the next day we went back to correct it.

Amanda deserves a raise. Last weekend, I spoke with her over the phone and she couldn't be more helpful or friendly when I was renting my unit. She recognized me by name only when I went into the office today when I was having issues with my access code. She got the code situation taken care of and was amazing the whole time. She provided excellent customer service both times. I only wish every employee in customer service was professional, friendly and knowlegeable as she is! Don't lose her!

I went to Public Storage to get my new unit today. I met Amanda who provided great customer service and represented Public storage with excellence. I went into the office to return the lock that was provided so i can get reimbursed since i already had a lock. Amanda was able to help me with no issues, lock was returned and i was reimbursement. Im a happy customer.

My experience has been terrible! My stuff has been here after moving from a house to a apartment temporarily 6-7 months later all my things are infested with cockroaches and water bugs. The insurance is an insult! The max payment is $250 after a $100 deductible! That doesn’t even cover the washer and dryer that sits there with bugs in it! I have lost everything of value and on top of that I now have to pay have my infested belongings removed and dumped somewhere. DO NOT TAKE YOUR THINGS HERE!!!! I REPEAT DONT DO TAKE YOUR STUFF HERE!!!!! Unless you love living with bugs!!!

I called and put on reserve a storage unit on September 5. The attentive date to get moved in was September 7. On the day I was supposed to get moved in, I received a call from “Samantha “ the property manager saying that I needed to come in and put a lock on the unit because the seal had been broken and the lock was removed. Of course, I became concerned because I had not even moved in and someone had already broken into the unit. So I asked the property manager, does this happen a lot at this location? Samantha, got smart at the mouth with me saying “ It has happened before on the 2nd floor. We will find out who did it and we can replace your lock.” I said but that is not making me feel any better! Does that happen a lot? Then I said, never mind, just cancel my order and refund my money back please. Then she got smart and said I cannot do that in this level you will have to call the 1 866 number. I called the 1 866 number and explained to a customer service rep named “James” who said he was putting in the request for the refund and to vacate the unit and I should have the $80 plus dollars back within 3 business days. Well, I got $21 back on the card for the stolen lock. So I waited two more business days and NOTHING! So I called 9 12 23 to see what was going on with the refund only to be told by Tanisha and two other agents, it had not been put in for the refund! I requested to speak with a supervisor and put in hold two more times and finally Alfred come on the line saying “I will have to put in a dispute because “ the property manager “ was supposed to put in for the refund! I asked him are you the Supervisor? And you are saying you cannot expedite the process? Is it not clear that someone dropped the ball here? This is not my responsibility, please refund my money and expedite it within the 24hour range, sir. The experience was unprofessional and if a company is not willing to make right their fault, they were NEVER trustworthy from the beginning! Save yourself the trouble and hassle. Skip Public Storage at this location.

Our things were in a unit at this facility for two years. Upon retrieval of our things, about half of it was completely ruined with mold and an ungodly stench. Everything else was covered in mildew and had to be completely and expertly cleaned. In addition to the mildew on the things that were salvageable, our boxes were infested with spiders. After spending a lot of money to store our things during a move, we spent so much money replacing, professionally cleaning, etc. It has been a horrible experience. Please go elsewhere.

You're better off with a local storage facility if you can find one with space. Corporations always being what they are. There is absolutely no wiggle room with them, and they will straight up hound you if you're even a few days late. And there isn't always someone on site. I've been screwed twice because of that. They lock your unit up after two weeks and don't take the initiative to unlock it once you catch up. So if no one's there when you come by for your stuff, you're screwed. It's just been a very stressful experience. And this particular facility is old as dirt, so there are annoying little problems. Like you have to get out and enter your code to both enter AND exit. There's no reason it can't be a motion sense exit gate (except that everything there is old).
