Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 801 Joliet Road, Willowbrook, IL

Update: district manager Alberto promised to Take care of the rent for the storage unit To make things right. I found out today they are auctioning off my property because he never did what he promised. Only get a unit here if you love mice and want them to auction off your property and not keep promises. I rented storage unit and it had mice infestation. I called numerous times and they agreed they would credit me the following month for free rent and switch me units. Come the 7th day of the following month out of nowhere they padlock my storage unit and deny me access to property. They hadn't said a single words of warning they backed out of their deal to cover my rent that month. My car keys were locked in unit. I explained I had 5 kids including a new born and I need access to unit for car keys as well as Sunday is a huge day for me for work. 5 kids aren't cheap I needed my vehicle. They said sorry the best they could do was if I pay full month rent for mice infested unit, the following month they would give me a credit. Yeah heard that before right? So they refuse to give me access to unit because they didn't process the month credit they promised me. The person I talked to at the call center said they would move to help but every single call I made to them was dealing wirh local office. Imagine my surprise when 10 minutes later local office s told me they love to help but every single call I had with them was with the call center so there's nothin they could do. I asked for a district manager they told me the district manager is on vacation but his fill in doesn't work weekends so I probably wouldn't get a call. Here I am father of 5 working 7 days a week and their district manager couldn't work for a few minutes to resolve this issue so I can work 12 hours on a Sunday. Never received a call from either district manager. This is not a problem with just this location. The 10 people I dealt with about this every single one from refused responsibility and pointed the finger at someone else in the company. From local office all the way up in this company all suffer from lack of accountability. Not one person owned my issue and took the 10 minutes to fix my problem. They all blamed someone else and left me holding the bag with no vehicle or any of the things I need to work. I lost close to $1000 in just the first day because no one will fix this issue and no one cares.

So at first, I was really upset because there was no attendance and there was a problem with the gate and they were able to compensate me for my time and then I explained the situation about the gate code not working and within 24 hours the manager got it working and we are now 12 for 12 of getting in and out of the gate with no issues. The management staff is very proactive when it comes to issues.

After having a not so nice experience at the Burr Ridge location. I was able to successfully find another unit over on Joliet Road in Willowbrook. Barb from the Lombard location reached out and was able to help with any questions and or issues that I had. Because of my interaction with her and a few agents that I spoke with over the telephone. My faith in Public Storage has been restored. Barb I appreciate your help this afternoon and look forward to continuing my business relationship with Public Storage.

Sometimes all you need is a good price to get you through tough times.

Rat infested, roof leaks when it rains. My book shelves got wet and damaged I have to throw them away. Broadview Public storage.

Convenient but far from me so I chose closer public storage but this place is nice I like the kiosk

they will allow you to store your valuables her, but they will make you pay!!!! they aren't valuables.. try selling them online. they will raise your rent bi-yearly, where you are like.... really, I have paid thousands for what? BTW these others are fake reviews

This might be the worst experience ever First month was supposed to be “free” They charged me 90 dollars for move in fee and then they were supposed to refund me some amount of that because I switch the storages on the first day and they overcharged me and guess what, they never refund me. I rent storage on 28th November so first month was free and from December 29th till 31 they charged me 130 dollars and one day late fee 57 dollars because agent didn’t put automatic payment even if I told him to do it in the first place. And by the way - most rude and disrespectful agents works in customer service department. Long story short - stay away from these scammers.

Public Storage need someone like Diona at every property. She deserve award for her hard work.
