Don’t go to them, if I could give them a 0 I would. I’ve had a storage unit here for almost 6 months, a few days ago basically all of stuff got stolen. The property workers acted nonchalant. The property worker stated “have you been to your unit the past two day because your lock is missing but I checked the system and saw that you haven’t accessed the gate recently.” Then proceeded to say “well I’m going to put a temporary lock on it until you get here.” Which is suspicious because you’re not even supposed to mess with the scene when a police report is being made. I asked if there are cameras. The property workers said that it is only cameras at the gate and office. The workers stated that they check each unit twice a day but how when basically all of my stuff got stolen. I asked if any other units were missing locks. The worker said “two other units but they had small locks as well like yours but I see that whoever did not mess with the larger locks.” But as soon as you walk up the stairs the unit right in front had a tiny lock that was smaller than the one I had. And another thing how did the work know specifically who had what types of locks.

My unit was broken into and my life savings along with almost everything I owned was stolen. No cameras or security. Talked with 3 other customers while i was here the last time, and all 3 said their units were also broken into. Police took the report and confirmed this happens hundreds of times per year in this area. There's absolutely no way the overall review rating here is as high as it is, they must be removing the negative reviews somehow. DON'T STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE

When I was in the process of searching for a storage space, it was imperative to me that I found a place that not only catered to my storage needs, but that made their customers their top priority. I came to public storage to inquire about a space after hearing good things about the staff and the location. Overall, the property manager Neikima was very polite and professional, and she explained everything very well. She was great, and I would definitely use their services I’m the future , and spread the word to my friends that have recently moved in the area!

I called to inquire about my increase on a 5x5 sent today In email. It was astonishing how much of the increase. I called and spoke with Tyrone & Lori about it. He was very professional and explained to me. I get the increase but my concern of a $13 jump increase. Tyrone was very considerate and listened to my concern and provided option of seeing what can be done at least for a short period. Well he was able to get approval to extend my current fee for a few months giving me time to decide if I would keep the unit once the new fee calculation kicks in again. I am very pleased that he took the time to offer an option(didn’t have to). Great experience , clean and they are always checking the units. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Sadly I cannot recall the younger gentlemans name that works here but he and Ray are absolutely fantastic! On my first day and every visit there, they've been attentive. Let me start by saying how wonderfully friendly Ray at the Crescent Ave location is. He is helpful understanding attentive and a pleasure to work with. The facility is a lil older but very well maintained and clean. I am moving to California and leaving ALLLLL of my furniture to my daughter and her lil family who are just starting out. I am very pleased with my storage. I opted to get a larger unit than I originally needed because they were running an online special. When I arrived, Ray (the manager) was super helpful and explained all the ends and outs of the billing process and storage rules. My unit is clean and spacious, does not have a "weird smell",as some of them do, and fits my needs perfectly. I definitely recommend Public Storage.

5 stars is only for the customer service. Keshia was working the day I went. Everything else was disappointing to say the least. I was a current customer from the Savannah/Pooler area in the same state. I already was renting 2 storage rooms there. I am military. That now being known, here were my expectations that were let down at every turn. I asked if I could transfer my account from Pooler, GA to Augusta, GA. They said it was not possible and I would have to start a whole new contract and pay the admin fee, etc... So, I then proceeded to ask about,a curent customer discount. They said not possible. I would have to move out of my current storage rooms first, wait 7 days, then reapply as a new customer. So then, I asked, you are in a military area, so you definitely have a military discount right? They said no. I said, I am trying my hardest to stay with your company and organization, but,this,is too much. I had to go right around the corner to one of the 20 other storage places nearby and they were cheaper and gave me a military discount. I am not a business major by any means, but if I was incharge of managing this branch I would make a lot of changes. Seems like they need a new business model to emulate. No discounts for military, current customers, and prices we're higher than the others in the area. I am not sure why they cannot link accounts together within the same organization, especially within the same state where the same laws are in place. Verizon can do it all over the country. Why can you not do it within the same state? Regardless, if some of these things do not change soon, I am sure you will lose a lot of customers and a lot of money. They will raise the prices of the storage units to compinsate for their own failure. They seem to be oblivious and greedy. I hope they figure it out someday because they are a decent storage company.

Close to military post and the hours available to enter/exit are great (open on Sunday). The customer service provided was great and the location is easy to find. Drawbacks are: no elevator located in the facility if you choose to have an indoor storage unit and it appears as if there aren't many climate controlled storage units available (that could be an availability issue or simply a lack of units that should be corrected if its the latter).

As I entered the building I was greeted with a precious smile very understanding and very helpful. The Manger Sheniqua has excellent customer service knows her job has an understanding of the customer needs and also know how to do treat customers very friendly. She was a great experience I'm all the way from SC.Thanks for having her there long and exhausted ride she made my day!!!!

Recently rented a 6' by 10' space. I am very happy with the staff. They were very courteous and professional. I do have some concerns about the type of door on my unit. It seems to be a hollow wood door of not very high quality. The staff assured me that it was fine with the security measures they have in place. I am very happy with the price of the unit. I got a promotional deal on it. I have used public storage several times over the years and I can honestly say that I have never had a problem. I hope it continues this way.

I've had storage rooms at this Public Storage site since 1990. The manager is Ray and he always provides great service. He checks the area often and lets you know immediately if you have forgotten to lock up. Areas are clean and well taken care of. Lighting after dark is really good and you feel safe visiting any time of day. This site is not the closest to my house but I like it enough to go out of my way. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a storage area.
