First of all I when I went to leave a review I noticed that someone posted a review for me last year. I guess the employees have found a way to review themselves under customers name. Anyway Don’t and I repeat don’t pay the extremely high fee for climate controlled units. We had rats and rat feces everywhere along with mold (or maybe it’s rat urine). I’ll admit that we had sealed liquor bottles at the front of our unit and the manager said that could be the reason for vermin. The bottles were untouched and no feces in box. We removed the bottles months ago and didn’t realize that the rat problem was way worse until we went to move out. OMG thank god not all of our things were in cardboard boxes or it would have been a total loss. Now the insurance they force you to take out won’t cover anything to do with vermin because of previous liquor bottles. I told them Public storage even advertises storing wine in their climate controlled buildings. If you can get around the extra insurance fee thru Orange Door do it. They are a rip off too and take a deductible for each claim. We had water damage in our other unit and a year later got $200 for antique items that are ruined!!

I had an unusual experience when trying to retrieve my items. Someone had the main door locked that led to my unit. The property manager thought fast and was able to contact the higher ups on the weekend to solve the problem.

*This is for small business owners who don't get paid on a reg schedule and don't use auto pay * I run my own business so I don't get paid on a reg date each month so I made a payment arrangement for sep 30 I was in the hospital with my wife who almost died so I forgot about it for a few days and paid it on oct 5 anyway so I was told verbally over the phone that I owed 175 currently because of late fees and exc so I paid the amount on the 5th . So today I tried to get into unit and couldn't so I went back to email and it reads as everything's fine until at the bottom of page on a chart saying that I owed another existing 144 for late fees and I didn't read the email because the title said we received your payment thank you so I thought no need to read it till I realized I couldn't get into unit . So at the end of the day I just don't understand how you tell me I owe 175 verbally instead of telling me the actual amount . If I would have been told the real amount at that time I would have paid it at that moment also the woman tells me over the phone that I'm currently in action status but online it says I will be in action status if I don't pay 144 . Theirs no email from them notifying me of anything until after I make a payment all around just horrible communication and horrible costumer service I will be paying the last amount and purchasing a shed .

First impressions are everything and today I encountered the EXCEPTIONAL service of Mr. Tyronne (traveling Manager)!!! His knowledgeability was refreshing and the level of professional customer service was ineffable. His resourcefulness in resolving our dilemma proved helpful. We’re out of state and time was of the essence. We were especially impressed with his timely follow-up after we’d left the property!!! Dr. Pittman FOLLOW-UP REVIEW (Leg Road location)! It’s been four weeks since I wrote this review based on Mr. Tyrone’s PROMISE! The level of integrity I expected has since diminished! I’ve received NO follow-up call from him nor the district manager. We were assured the unit shown would accommodate our needs. On the day of our move-in (with professional movers) the unit is TOO SMALL! We’re from out of state and have no other options. We agree to a larger unit on the premises of being accommodated because the previous manager (Jose) solely promoted online rentals. Never offering us the option to RESERVE the unit initially shown. Mr. Tyrone your representation of the Public Storage Team warrants the REDACTION of my previous review! Apart from being FORCED into a larger unit, you sir are not a man of integrity! And the throwing around of your district manager’s name makes we wonder about the integrity of the ENTIRE PS team!!! A Very dissatisfied customer‼️Dr. Pittman
