Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 231 SW 125th Ave, Plantation, FL

This place has gone downhill since Public Storage has taken over. I have been locked out of my unit for 2 months now and the office is closed due to renovations. The chat doesn't help, I called the local number, no callback. I want my belongings and a refund.

This was previously by another brand and they had great customer service and facilities. Ever since Public Storage took over - the Caribbean manager is horrible - rude attitude and zero willingness to help. Public Storage has take away the big and convenient dolly (they previously had 8 such large dolly), and replaced it with kids dolly and that too just four of them. Now, this place is always busy and people are waiting for turns to use the dolly. Their whole business model is discouraging people to use these storages and forget it. I just waited for 45 mins for my turn to use the dolly, and reluctantly went home - will have to come back some other day. One of the elevators don’t work as well. Not to mention - their app to access the locker is so broken, you would think such large company would make it seamless. I am now looking to shift to another brand. In America this is one of the worst large companies to exist.

Horrible experience at this Public Storage location. There is no property manager on-site, and no real way to get help. I rented a 10x10 unit online, and when I arrived, I found a weird triangular space that wasn’t even 4 feet deep — completely different from what was advertised. Since there was no one available at the building, I called customer service immediately. They scheduled an appointment with the property manager for the next day — I waited over an hour, but no one ever showed up. I called customer service again, and they promised to resolve the issue, but nothing happened. I left multiple voicemails and still received no response. It has now been three days of back-and-forth with no resolution. Customer service finally told me they can’t even issue a refund because there’s no manager assigned to this location! Every time you call, you have to re-explain the story because no one communicates properly, and to make things worse, many customer service reps struggle to understand English clearly. Save yourself the nightmare and stay far away from this place.

Went to this storage nothing but great customer service Sandra was my representative! She’s awesome! Very transparent and fast! I’m definitely coming back when it’s time to move again! Thank You Sandra! You’re the best !
