Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 12451 Orange Dr, Davie, FL

I was renting for the first time and was a little bit apprehensive, but then after I first did the online booking at home and I wanted to come over to the facility to see the actual facility I received a friendly phone call from Karola to ask me if I needed any help in completing the formalities online . I told her that I was on the way to see the facility and she welc9med me at the property and removed all my apprehensions in just 2 minutes. She answered all my questions patiently and guided me very professionally and made the whole process of renting at public storage so smooth. She is friendly and makes you feel at home and guides you through the proceses effortlessly. She is an asset to any company and is professional and yet so friendly. Excellent customer service.

I have been looking at storage spaces in the area, and a few days ago visited this one. As I entered the office, Karola greeted me immediately, and quickly ascertained my interests and needs. She explained rental details and options thoroughly and efficiently, and then offered a brief tour. The pride Karola showed in the facility made it seemed like it was her own. She noted the double gates, the loading area, the security measures, the climate controls and lots of attractive nuances. This is a nice facility, made even nicer by an outstanding manager.

Curola was a big help with my move in. She followed up even when she was off the day of move in. Nastasha filled in and took care of what I needed. Many thanks.

Good morning i had stop by too check out my reservation. Space. First I have to tell you. That I waited 1/2 until someone came by too open the door i got there around 10Am smdh i had asked too used the bathroom I noticed that the bathroom was on unsanitary. I had told the person that was assisting me that the bathroom with filthy she told me I didn’t know that that tells me that she wasn’t going around then i had asked her too please show me the space then I’ll be renting the area outside was also dirty smdh she told me that anyone that put the garbage outside will be fined how can you charge someone for leaving garbage outside when yet you place is filthy so i had decided to leave this is public storage on Orange Drive in davie good luck

Safe. Reliable. 0 issues or worries knowing my prized belongings are here. Changed from 5 to 3 because whoever the new property manager is, lady with black hair. Attitude reeks. Been leasing here for years and never had a bad experience until recent interaction with that girl. Talking to paying customers like you don’t care how they feel or it’s not a big deal to you because you have “1300 customers” (your words) is deplorable. Some people lack personal skills and don’t belong in managerial roles. Yes a situation might be out of your control but how you convey that and handle it makes the difference. Weird behavior. Glad this is my last day renting here.

Let me begin by sharing that my experience at this facility was easy! Due in large measure to the staff and in particular a young lady her name is Karola. I Was so touched by her willingness to be of service, always a big warm friendly smile on her face, something that may not be of importance to many but to me it provided a whole world. You see, personally I’ve been dealing with very challenging circumstances and coming in each day to deal with my unit was overwhelming. Karola supported and assisted me in countless ways from providing answers to my questions to guiding me through choosing the best unit to suit my needs. She noticed that I was by myself moving things from a larger to smaller unit and she showed up with a hand truck and helped me move largish pieces of furniture from one unit to the next. It always made me feel safe that I wasn’t the only one in the storage facility as she was close by maintaining the premises always happy and thoughtful This young lady provided extraordinary customer service in at every opportunity! Public Storage is lucky to have her, truly an amazing human being I deeply appreciate her kindness, her dedication to serving customers and the diligence and dedication she brings to everything and everyone she interacts with. I don’t know how I feel my monthly bill but their a/c is cold. I was on the first floor with an 7x10 ft. My monthly bill started at $129 a month. After about after 6 months the monthly bill went up to $179. Then at 20 months it jumped to $241.85. There is a lock fee, insurance fee and taxes included in that price. I wasn’t even there a full 2 years. I am moving my stuff out this weekend to say the least. Guess this is what happens to people that pay their bills on time.

Highly recommend but make sure you speak to someone at the facility first before booking online. I reserved the first storage space online and when I arrived with a fully loaded truck to the SR84 location in Davie, I saw the location would not suit my needs as it would need to be accessed through a ladder. I was highly upset that the online description lacked this very important detail. The manager at the SR84, Davie, FL location was very apologetic and did everything she could to help me. Even though I was fuming, she remained calm and managed to find a nearby location because she didn't have any others available. When I arrived at the new location on Orange Drive in Davie, FL, the manager Karola patiently answered every question and made sure I had everything I needed. Karola even escorted me to the storage unit while filling me in on all the details I needed to know. She was so kind, cheerful and truly made a stressful experience much better than it was supposed to be. I also enjoy the efficiency that the app provides but the excellent customer service experience that the managers provided can't ever be replaced by technology.

I rented a space and in the end I didn't need it. I went to the site to cancel it before the moving date. And they didn't want to refund me all my money. They wanted to keep the administrate fee that is $25 I don't think if fare for them to keep the money for something I didn't use.

The customer service I received at this facility from Karen was exceptional. She is probably one of the kindest staff I've encountered. Apart from the ensuring that I knew where my storage unit was and how the overall property was laid out by giving me a tour, she also was a delight to converse with. Even the way she interacted with other customers showed evidence of her professionalism and willingness to assist. I complimented her on her service and how kind she was and she replied, "I don't think there's any other way a person should be". She's definitely a great associate for this property. Furthermore, facility seemed secure and it made me feel comfortable storing my contents. You need a code to enter one gate, to exit another, to enter the facility's door and to proceed up the elevator. The $1 to rent incentive definitely was a huge benefit. Tammy was very professional and made renting the storage unit very easy. From the day I moved into the storage she informed me of the lock options I had and anytime I called she was very helpful. I never rented a storage unit before but I highly recommend this location since it’s close to 595 and 75, is very clean and convenient. This public storage is very well run because of great employees like Tammy.

Registered for my unit online and never got my gate password. Went to facility and no one is there. They got my money and I have now way to access my unit. Seamless they said, yeah right. They also charged me 20 bucks for a lock that I don't need. Total disappointment. I have a car full of stuff and no way to store it.

The first person you deal with is the front office. And the person at that position is the most important. Victoria was the best. Speaking to her made me feel that I chose the right storage location. Thank you Victoria for making it easy, showing me the unit, how to use the lock and the shortcut to my unit.

Great Manager Tammy and awesome location that is well maintained.

The PRO- they are nice and friendly. The storage facility is very clean. The CON-Unfortunately they are governed by a business dictating prices. A notice in the mail starting off with, "Thank you for being a valued Public Storage customer", like that is supposed to make it easier to find out you are double my storage fee! Just unfair. This is a way to get you out to get someone else in to charge them even more. Moral to the story, I am NOT a valued customer. :(

Victoria was very helpful and very knowledgeable

Even though I only needed the storage for short time, the experience was very positive. The facility was very clean. Has plenty of flatbed dollies to go around. Having to put a code to get in the gate help me feel safe and secure. A plus is the temperature controlled units. Great customer service when checking in and checking out.

This site is very well priced and brand new! I was helped through the entire process by Victoria and couldn’t have been happier with her service. She gave me a tour of my unit and was very up front and honest about what size I’d need. She is very personable and made the experience very stress free. I’d highly recommend this site and Victoria.

Wonderful facility and staff. Although there are PS locations closer to my home and even priced slightly lower, I chose the Orange Drive location. Tammy is the greatest she was very kind and courteous a pleasure to meet her. I ended up having problems losing my lock as I was doing some last minute storage before heading to the airport and she quickly helped me to get another just in time. Also the facility is very safe and secure.

We have had our unit here for about 2 years. On 11/8/2020 we got a call our unit was broken into. We got a call around 12pm. There is no alarm system here. No security. Nothing. On 11/28/2020 yet again. Here we are. The same exact storage unit was broken into. LESS THAN A MONTH! And they are doing absolutely nothing. There was no added security. There was nothing. As much as you think your stuff will be safe, it is not. Beware. They have the employees dealing with this rather than the bosses/owners/etc. And did I mention they are not cheap? We will be moving and hope this doesn’t happen to others.

I just rented a unit there and the experience was amazing. Karen was profesional , courteous and friendly. Moving is always stressful but with such great service and help, she made everything so easy. ! Highly recommended .

Karen was a big help in showing us the unit, very informative and a wonderful person. Walked us through the loading/off loading location, elevators, carts, access hours and all we needed to know for a smooth move. The building is very clean and tidy inside and out.

Karen at the front desk was amazing and helpful. She knows how to help streamline the process of getting you setup with proper storage and is makes the process fun and enjoyable !! Highly recommend booking a call to work with her and the team in Davie !!

Be Careful, after 3 months, they will increase your rent by $ 100 Dollars. (It's a punishment for being a loyal customer) Check the pictures, for the advertised rate online and my actual rate after 3 months. When I contact Tamy, (manager) she took 2 weeks to get back to me to say that her Regional Manager can not honor the same price.

We used a storage here for less than a month and it was nice, clean, and overall good experience.

This is one of the nicest storage facilities I've ever been to. It is clean and well kept, and the storage space is nice and cool. I worked with Manager Dorian, and he was very helpful. He was going through training, and I could tell his attitude was humble and easy going. In fact, I inadvertently said something at which he could have taken offense, but he brushed it off and remained friendly. He seems to be the type of person who will take good care of his customers.

I was very impressed with how I was able to decide I needed the storage unit today. I had already done my research and decided on this facility but this morning something came up and I need to get it done ASAP. I went online and filled out the information to reserve a space and Tammy got back to me shortly thereafter and we made an appointment shortly thereafter. She explained and showed me all I need to know and was very patient with me (a little old lady)! The place is very clean and very organized! I would recommend this site very highly.

This location is by far the best Public Storage location in the area. The facility is clean and tidy and the staff are always there to help. Tammy has been fantastic. When there was a price increase she challenged that on our behalf with her leadership team. I would not hesitate in using this facility again.

Had to do a last minute move-in before the hurricane. We were lucky to find a couple still available. The employees are very friendly and helpful and we were able to get most of the important items put away before we were hit. I would absolutely recommend this location.
