Coming soon: Public Storage

3625 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles CA 90007

The eight-story climate controlled storage building is slated to open later this year and will provide more than 4,000 storage units near you. The 234,000-square-foot facility will offer a variety of sizes ranging from small to large, convenient for apartment dwellers and loft owners looking to get organized.

This sleek new modern facility will feature composite metal panels and a glazing exterior, with portion of it in our iconic orange. Located in the Historic South Central District, the building will provide future customers with picturesque views of the downtown Los Angeles Skyline.

Our 3625 S. Grand Avenue facility will include parking for 40 vehicles and more than 100 bicycles. It will also have an off-street loading area for move-in access, elevators, a well-lit facility, and keypad & remote-app access.

Grand Avenue Construction Milestone

Public Storage team members pose with LA City officials and construction team to celebrate the raising of the last beam

More than halfway complete, Public Storage and Los Angeles city officials recently gathered to celebrate as construction crews raised the last beam.

The ceremony kicked off with Public Storage CEO Joe Russell signing the beam. LA City Council Member Curren Price and Public Storage’s senior development team joined. Donning hard hats, officials walked through what will be the ground floor and then viewed the progress from a few floors above.

The ceremony brought together W.E. O’Neil Construction, architects, and engineers. Ware Malcomb designed this project.

DTLA Planned Growth

Our redevelopment of 3625 S. Grand Avenue comes as DTLA is on the cusp of a building boom. Officials have outlined a strategy to add 125,000 people and 70,000 housing units by 2040.

In the next few years, Los Angeles is slated to host the 2026 World Cup, the 2027 Super Bowl, and the 2028 Summer Olympics.

In fact, a little more than half of DTLA residents have relocated to the city’s core in the last five years, according to the Related Companies, a real estate company. Our remodeled 3625 S. Grand Avenue facility will be conveniently located for those looking to move to the bustling city core but might need more storage space.

It is conveniently located on Grand Avenue between Jefferson Boulevard and W 37th Street, just one block east of the 110 Freeway, the University of Southern California, and Exposition Park. It also has close access to the 10 Freeway.

Our future customers can go from their storage unit and spend the rest of their day at  nearby Exposition Park, hop in their car or bike, and head down Grand Avenue to visit attractions such as The Broad or Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.

Not too far is the Arts District, where you can enjoy craft breweries and restaurants within walking distance, and end the night in the Broadway Theater District, which includes concert venues in the city’s historic theaters.

For more self storage units near you in 90007, we also have these Public Storage facilities.
