Property Manager does not upkeep building. Alarms go off 24/7 with no regard for the reason behind it. Maybe if they checked the alarms people wouldn’t get their units broken into

Great clean storage place with reasonable prices and very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely choose them next time.

I've had a good experience here for the past couple years, but yesterday my storage unit was broken into. At least 8 more units on the same aisle were, too. We had the super-heavy-duty circular padlock sold and recommended by Public Storage, but it did no good at all. It is SIMPLE for a thief to cut through a couple places in the hasp and simply remove the entire lock! These thieves did this to at least 8 units and had their pick of the contents of all of them. No alarm sounded, nobody saw them on video, nobody noticed the sound of their grinder, and it wasn't until Public Storage did a walkaround "security check" that they found what had happened. Smart thieves will just rent a small place here so they get an access code, stroll in with their battery powered angle grinder under their coat, and get to work on an upper floor. They could also piggyback into the elevator behind someone. Then, nobody would look twice at somebody carrying cartloads of stuff out. It's chilling how easy it was, and it can be done any time with the hasps the way they are here. PS has a real problem! Somehow they have got to make their hasps grinder proof, install better alarms, or something, otherwise their impressive-looking circular padlocks are completely worthless. I am either going to move out or find my own alarm solution. EDIT: the PS district manager doesn't care about this. He says all storage units are like this and he has no plans to improve security or the vulnerable hasps. He is wrong, there are much better solutions out there, and I am looking for a new place.

My unit along with many others on the same floor were broken into. I’ve looked through previous reviews and this kind of break in at this location, where thieves bypass a lock, seems to happen frequently. The “lock” does not keep the thieves out, and they seem to have plenty of time to go through multiple units without any alarm sounding. The security at this location does not protect the storage units from theft.

Our unit was broken into last week (September 2023). It appears that many units were burglarized at the same time. The property manager was not authorized to give me any information, such as the date or time of the burglary. I asked if a police report had been filed and I was told, no, that I had to file it. I have left a message with the district manager, but not heard back yet. Our property was thoroughly searched, broken and thrown around. My estimate is that the thieves were in our unit for hours without detection, so I'm hoping to understand how this could happen. I will update this post as I get more information, but at this point I am concerned about the lack of information or cooperation from the company.

They have a faulty alarm system that turns on at 9pm and does not shut off till the employee comes into work the next day. What is the deal with the alarm system?????

My storage unit was broken into along with dozens more on the same floor. The management did not contact me proactively so I only found out by visiting. The on-site manager could not answer my questions and referred me to the district manager, who was not available. To date, management has not put in any corrective measures to ensure this does not happen again. I would highly recommend against this facility.

The self service automatic gate closes at 6 pm. Makes no sense

I have rented a modest sized storage space here since 2009! I just left and it almost feels like leaving family. Personal interest in how their service was as well as cleanliness and overall professionalism were hallmarks. Most recent care taker Tom is an excellent example of their continued excellent service

Someone broke into my storage unit at this location about 2yrs ago. They were in my unit for quite some time, judging by the number of boxes they were able to open and how far back into the 12' unit they got. The most valuable thing taken was a box of collectibles I had been toting from city to city over the years with the intent to gift it all to my kids when they got old enough or showed interest in collecting...all the baseball cards I had from when I was a kid, a number of old coins that my Dad gave to me, autographed memorabilia and souvenirs from games and events I went to. It's incredibly disappointing to think that that I'll never be able to replace the items I spent so many years collecting when I was a kid. There were zero signs of forced entry or damage to the storage unit door, the door frame, or (PS provided) cylinder lock itself. The thief also somehow managed to close and re-lock the door after they got into my unit. When I reported the theft to the site manager in the office, they didn't seem surprised or sympathetic...just coldly told me that I needed to file a report with the police and make a claim with my insurance company before the corporate office start any kind of investigation. Not that I was looking to be made whole on the spot, but at least feigning sympathy would have been nice. Probably not the best spot to store anything you care too much about.

Tom was amazing and so helpful when I was moving in and out of this storage unit! The place is very safe and friendly. I kept my things here for a year and everything was just as I left it.

Staff on site were very helpful with setting up the rental storage unit and ensuring that we were able to navigate and find our unit. Definitely recommend for ease of access and excellent staff

Good facility, but feels like dishonest business due to constant increased in monthly cost. I started our at $86 a month and ten months later its $125.

Tom was wonderful!!!!! He knows how to resolve problems which arise with the units and the computer system. He was pleasant. He bent over backwards to assure that I had what I needed. He is excellent with people skills. You are blessed to have him.

Really easy experience checking in! Guy at the front was so nice and helpful and made sure to check that I got into my unit okay before I left. Would recommend.

I ultimately went with a different storage company - I reserved a unit online here but when I showed up for my appointment to view and pay for it, there was no staff onsite for over an hour. I ended up finalizing my booking online and when I got to the unit, it had a huge pipe running through it at chest height that was leaking water all over the wooden floor. The unit was unfortunately unusable, though the front office was very helpful in getting my policy cancelled and my payment fully refunded.

This location is an absolute nightmare. The employees are ableists, and frankly bullies. I moved in last October, fleeing from domestic violence. I was in the process of cataloging my items over the course of a period of time, to file for divorce. I was subsequently harassed daily, with walk-by check-ins, rude and uncourteous interactions, accosted when exiting the facility with abrasive remarks, accused of living in my unit (uh, units must be locked overnight, and there are plenty of cameras to prove this is untrue. My unit was overlocked at one point, without being notified. In fact, I received no correspondence or paperwork to indicate any issues. I visited the office for help unlocking my unit as I was fully paid. I was yelled at and scorned. The district manager, Justin, was called on their office phone, and I was handed the receiver. I was told I must move out by the end of the month, but I would have full access to my unit "as long as I followed the rules". I explained my situation and said this was an impossibility (being disabled, fleeing domestic violence, and simply being overtaxed for energy while battling mental health issues). This situation continued for 2 additional months. I finally was able to move my belongings at $600 to myself for movers. At the final visit, I was so distraught from being bullied, I said, "I need my unit unlocked. I will be moving out today, and I do not wish to speak further". The employee muttered, "Well, I'll say somethin' if I want to". I had to remove my noise-canceling headphones to hear this extra toxicity. I do not recommend this location. I have been with Public Storage before, and have not had any issues; so this reads to me as a very bad location. There are plenty of other good places nearby, and I am happy to be rid of this situation.

This place is the best. There is ample parking and always a cart or two to use while you are there. Also the staff is the greatest

Tom was A++ . My storage unit is located in Houston, Texas and had an autopay issue that was unable to be rectified by my store manager after 3-4 10-15 min phone calls. Let’s just say the employees at my unit are less than competent. Tom is/was a breath of fresh air. He is kind, polite, and willing to explain Public Storage’s processes and how we could fix the issue. What took hours between Public Storage’s automated system (still never reached a live person) and my storage units incompetent employees, Tom fixed within 5-10 minutes. A++.

Nice staff and facility. Absolute deplorable business practices raising rates. From my "locked in rate" they managed to pretty much double my monthly cost in the 18months I was renting there.

Someone broke into our storage and selectively stoled stuff out of our storage. They wouldn’t even offered surveillance videos to help. As a matter pf fact they wouldn’t offer help. There are thieves there.

Better prices and better service other places. Closing my account after about 9 years.

I've been renting a unit from this location for several years, but was in need of a larger unit. Vince, the onsite manager, was incredibly helpful getting me into a unit which accommodated my needs. Not only did he find me a unit around the corner from the original (making the move very easy) he also made the transfer process smooth and easy to navigate. Vince is the reason I'll continue bringing my business, as well as recommending this specific location to my friends and family. Thank you for all of the help Vince.

I have been at this public storage for the last few months and have always been so happy about the service. I have interacted the most with Tom and he is so helpful and super friendly. There is almost always someone available to help and their service is friendly and so appreciated!

Extremely clean facility and well maintained for the most part. Had a few incidents with the elevator being down and they raised our monthly rent by $65 out of the blue but still a great option to rent from as they are always running promotions. Jonathan is also very nice and helpful.

The elevators are small, the code is frustrating for elevator, hallways are tight, hours are short. Hey very helpful and kind and stuff is safe.

I have never met ruder employees in my life. I hate complaining about employees online because I usually like to give them the benefit of the doubt they they are having a bad day and I know they have hard jobs, but I know this is not the case. With several different employees on different days I was treated with condescending old white men who were uninterested in answering any questions or being helpful in anyway. They sit on their phones and get mad at me for doing something wrong when I originally tried to ask them how to do those things.

Highly recommend - storage you can trust. Perfect spot to park the camper van for an extended period. Vince, at the front desk, provided some excellent customer service - took a lot of the chaos out of the whole moving process.

I was needing storage/moving boxes and saw Public Storage on 3000 15th Ave in Seattle sold boxes. I stopped in and was greeted by a nice guy named Tom (at least that’s what his shirt said). I told him what I needed them for and he helped me with the right sizes. I was only able to get a couple that day and was impressed that he didn’t put a hard sell on. I usually don’t write reviews but in todays day it is very rare to get exceptional service. Was very impressed and will be back.

They raised their rates 25% on us.

Last time we were here (early February 2022) a nice gentleman working told us that several units had been broken into and ours was one of them. Nobody notified us, nobody called or emailed us. We don’t live in Seattle and are storing our things here. Our belongings are not expensive or anything but it is our stuff and it sucks to know someone was in our storage unit. We are trying to make arrangements to move our stuff but it’s hard since we don’t live in town. I’m making this post on February 25 2022, we visited early February and could barely get into our storage unit because the lock was messed up and the contents had been rifled through and it was a total mess. Bottom line, be very wary of this place. Security seems lax and they admitted to recent break-ins and while they’re nice enough folk they seem to have a very “oh well” type of attitude about the break-ins. (I included a screenshot of my most recent payment email so you can see we really do use this place).

Facility is solid and easy to access. Staff is professional - courteous and helpful.

Sign-up is relatively straightforward and staff are courteous and helpful. Facility is in good condition and clean and some maintenance-type updates were done in recent years in some areas, though they may not be visible to you. There were a couple of security incidences apparently in 2020 or 2021 but the facility tightened up access procedures/times and that reportedly resolved the issue. Easy drive-in access into the facility with cars and small to medium size moving trucks; the exit out the side door can be a bit tricky to maneuver with a vehicle due to interior concrete columns, watch out and go slow! In mid-fall 2021 they had some issues with one of the two elevators to the storage units but I believe those have been fixed.

Needed storage store my truck for a month. Process was straightforward, prices were good, and the property manager was always very helpful

My unit on the third floor was broken into sometime between May 9 to May 20. The thieves took baby items and adult men’s clothes from what we can tell. They also destroyed 2 drawers while ransacking my unit.

Buy storage unit at this place has been broken into three times the lock has been cut once and the other two times they were picked and replaced so it looked like nobody had been into it when really most almost all my stuff have been gone through and a lot of it was taken it's like they made several trips to make sure they got it all it was either one of the workers or it's one of the other renters who just stays the night in the place and then has free run of it all night long

UPDATE 4/6/21: Improving my rating after getting really great treatment from the regional vice president after leaving a phone message. Very sympathetic and accommodating. Allowing us to keep our current rate for the next 3 months and do a lateral move to a, hopefully more secure part of the facility. UPDATE 4/3/21: Broken into AGAIN! Update 1/9/21: Bathroom is now open. Security is an issue, multiple units, ours included, burglarized in November, 2020. Elevator service still wonky. Fairly good access from 15th as long as you are going north. Limited services secondary to constant construction - "improvement" projects. Only two elevators available for a multi floor storage and they are weird. .

Worst customer service I have ever encountered at a storage facility. The CS guy Paul seemed uninterested in helping and would give unclear answers repeatedly. The elevator takes forever and opens and closes and opens and closes, then your code times out and you have to step outside and reenter it. Not recommended.

Paul is literally the sweetest employee. I came in inquiring prices as I just moved to the area. I plan on moving in within the next month. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions in full detail. I felt very safe in the office as all proper procedures for covid have been followed. I had accidentally prepaid for a month; and I received top notch customer service from the location manager. Tom called into the corporate division of Public Storage and got me a refund for my payment. Additionally, they also gave me a $17/month discount for the next 3 months in case I wanted to stay at the location, and I ended up finding out I needed the public storage space due to weather conditions for an additional month. Writing this review because this type of customer service in a large company like Public Storage is typically rare; most people would just tell you to go deal with it or go through the process.

Absolutely do not rent here, I have been broken in to twice now with zero explanation or resolve. The thieves have a developed system that is not being combated. The property manager is unavailable and they work bankers hours, meaning your unit is broke into after hours or holiday than you better have a plan. Do not be fooled by this locations gates, codes or cameras it’s all a façade. I had to call the cops and leave a message with management.

Reading the recent reviews, now I understand why all of the items in my unit were thrown about. I thought they just fell over, but they must have been rifled through. Thankfully nothing appears stolen. This also explains no after hours access. Time to move elsewhere.

GO ELSEWHERE!! THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. I have had issue after issue with both the staff and the property. There are times when the elevators are unavailable which means you can't access any of the floors because the stairwells are only emergency exits, to which the staff tells me they have no idea when they'll be up and running again. I have been hassled multiple times because I have an ESA, who accompanies me everywhere. While there are "no dogs allowed" on property, I've had to argue almost to the point of tears trying to get this point across. Now, as I'm trying to access my unit (after the office closed but before access closed) I enter my gate code and it tells me to "see manager" although I have no unpaid balance and there should be NO REASON why I can't access my unit. I was recently unlucky enough to encounter the new property manager andshe was rather unpleasant, I would just advise you pick anywhere else there's another storage place less than a quarter mile away and I'm looking into that now

Public Storage Interbay has recently had a significant number of break ins to storage units. My unit was broken into with no signs of entry, my lock was untouched. Contents thrown around, everything rifled through and only the most valuable items were taken. It looked like the suspects had lots of time to make decisions. Staff members said they don't know how they suspects are getting into units but their manager will contact us shortly. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT YOUR VALUABLES STORED SECURELY.

Not Secure! My unit was broken into a few days ago and my things ransacked. I’m out of the country and so it’s a huge pain because I can’t be there to assess what’s been stolen or to put a new lock on the unit. My unit is on one of the upper floors and so access isn’t easy. How they targeted my unit and no others is suspicious. Still waiting to hear if they have any video surveillance or keypad logging to track this. Also, few months ago they did some construction and when i returned after a trip all of my things were covered in a thick layer of construction dust. When I complained they said there was nothing they could do, but they’d see if they could forgive a few months rent. I never heard back from them.

The facility is clean and easy to access, the staff are helpful and rent is resonable. In the past I've stored items in other facilities only to come back and find them damp and mildewed or covered in dust and spiders, but here i stored my stuff came back almost a year later and everything looked exactly how I left it.

After being locked out of my storage unit's floor a total of SEVENTEEN DAYS in the last two months with no communication or warnings due to construction, today I find out they have BOTH elevators out of service and no way to get to your unit. Again, no warning, no communication and no time-frame given for when the elevators will be operational. There are people renting trucks that need to move in and out at the end of the month...and you are CLOSED with no warning at all. This is a VERY SHODDY way to run a business. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS... because in the end it's going to cost you a lot. The LACK OF CARING and INCOMPETENCE is mind boggling.

**Do NOT store your belongings here!!** There is a major burglary issue from what I can discern in my experience. I stored my entire 2 bedroom house at this unit for 2 months. On moving out day I noticed the door was off of the door track and the lock was still intact. Once I opened my unit I found that it had been broken into. Worse, it was obvious that someone had meticulously taken the door off its track. The facility is closed from 6pm -930am, has a specialized code to enter the elevator, has security cameras and has a few employees working daily. Do not be fooled by the “extra security” measures, they proved worthless both while our possessions were in storage there and after. When I brought the burglary to the manager’s attention she stated, “that’s just the nature of the business.” We expected that they would help us to figure out what to do next, in fact they did nothing to support us. They didn’t suggest to look at any security cameras or help to file a police report, they simply implied that I should have anticipated this horrible event.

I recently rented a storage unit online and it was quick and efficient I didn't even have to go in the office thanks public storage!

Was using their service for six months. Good experience with the storage space and the employees. Definitely will do business again with them if I need storage space.

Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because when I moved in, there was no signage in each row and floor, so it was very difficult for my movers and I to find my unit and we were in a rush to move everything in. After I moved in I could figure it Out as I got used to it Hopefully they added signage.

MOVE OUT I just vacated my storage, and the process was as streamlined as it was moving in. Valerie,Tom, and Lindsay were warm and helpful. I’m glad this is the place I chose to store mostly my photos and other important documents. MOVE IN I contacted Public Storage online and received a call from Patrick within a few minutes. When I got there, Patrick was waiting for me. He was professional and kind. He walked me through the process, took me to my space, and we did the paperwork quickly. I felt assured my things were safe, and that Public Storage was a good place.

The place might need a facelift (which it’s getting) but it’s clean, tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. And my belongings were safe. I absolutely recommend this location.

I had made a reservation at the Public storage in the 700 Fairview Ave N Seattle location. We just got an apartment in South Lake Union, were in a time constraint and already had our UHaul with us and had to return it that night. The lady in the front was extremely rude and condescending. I work in hospitality and from her demeanor, it seemed as though she really hated her job. She interrupted us repeatedly while we attempted to ask questions and responded with arrogance and contempt. However, I am writing because after that horrible experience, my friend suggested I go to the Public storage at 3000 15th Ave W, Seattle. An employee named James completely restored the previous horrible experience we received at the south lake union location. James was friendly, personable and upbeat. He was extremely patient in explaining the processes and policies. James was also more than willing to answer all of our questions. I am writing this because, as a costumer, the way you are treated heavily dictates where you take your business to. I am more than happy to go all the way to the Interbay location despite being minutes from the south lake union location, just to receive the excellent costumer service that James provided. I just wanted you guys to know that employees like James really make a world of a difference to customers.

I would recommend this location hands down. The staff are very helpful and professional. I lost my keys and they helped me get into my unit with a new lock and set of keys for cheap! No issues through the whole time I have been with them and if I ever need a storage unit again I now know who to go too! Thank you for an amazing customer experience, great job!

James was working at the time I really needed to get my stuff in before they closed, given my truck rental schedule, move out date, and the amount of work that had to be done. I was so lucky to have his excellent, friendly help in quickly yet calmly renting me a spot, helping me find it, and even helping me keep my stuff from falling off the cart. The move in deal they were running, and still are I think at the time of this review (1/2 off) was great too, but what really stands out is the friendly, helpful service, much needed during a stressful move; James in particular (thank you buddy!); highly recommended!

First time renting a storage unit. EVER. So of course I was timid about the fine print and the details of the rental. Rest assured, Valerie was able to answer all my questions and do so with a nice smile on her face. Great service and thorough knowledge of the business - what more could you ask for! If you can, go in person to talk about details. Salesperson on the phone (who does not work at this actual location) lied about this being only $1 the first month and lied about us getting a unit that was right off of the elevator. Instead the unit was up an elevator, down the hall and through another set of doors. Getting into this parking lot with a large moving vehicle is an absolute nightmare. The entire set up of this building is built in a way that induces maximum stress and minimal convenience. Only open until 6 pm on weekdays.

Yes, the staff is courteous, they are accommodating to get you in, but it's not the best managed or well maintained building in the area. In the 1.5 years I rented: front gate was broken for third of that time, that restricts you to only having access to your belongings during office hours, elevators are consistently breaking down, there were over dozen break-ins on my floor in 3 weeks time. While they were sure it was single perpetrator, no one seemed to be able to verify this with cameras. Tenants weren't proactively informed. They opted instead to restrict our access to business office hours only for months hoping to flush the thief out. My monthly rate increased $60 because PS decided it wanted to become "competitively priced" with others in the area. Odd considering I moved my things to a newer, climate controlled facility just up the road for half the price. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Rented here for 6 months and never once had any issue. Secure site and staff was always helpful and honored all the online deals. The hours of the site are very inconvenient for someone with a 9-5 job which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

Fantastic staff! Valerie went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule that was constantly being changed by my moving company with little to no heads up. She was happy to shift her plans during the day to ensure my delivery and storage went smoothly and efficiently. I could not ask for better customer service, especially during such a stressful situation. The location is great, right off a main road and with a secure parking lot with ample parking spots available. The reservation process was smooth. The team here helped me to select the best sized room for my belongings and even offered me a special deal on my first months price. Overall excellent experience with Public Storage on 15th and would highly recommend using their facility for your storage needs.

I rented from this facility 20 years ago and that positive experience brought me back this time. I have had great interactions with the staff, Robin and Valerie. They are gracious and helpful and friendly. The facility is clean and secure and I feel confident that my belongings will be safe. My only complaint is that the facility is not climate controlled but otherwise, it's a great place to keep personal items.

I have rented from Public Storage for years off and on due to relocating for work. The staff here are very nice.. They got me in a unit that fit all my stuff perfectly for a price that fit my budget as well!! They have carts for use and boxes/supplies for every need! I used a storage package...came with everthing mI needed and made my unit neat and organized. Valorry and Robin were very helpful and made moving ( again) less stressful. Overall I recommend this location with 5 stars.

Every interaction I have with the staff is positive. Every employee goes above and beyond to be informative and helpful. Most recently Valerie helped me navigate the packing and shipping of my belongings in this storage center to California. She was kind and helpful both on the phone when I was setting everything up remotely and in person to support me in the small window of time I had to fly in, meet movers, etc. The storage facility is well kept, bright, and clean. My belongings; clothes, upholstered furniture etc smelled clean and fresh after spending close to 2 years in my storage unit. Nothing was dusty. I have allergies and asthma so I was concerned about unpacking the unit; but I literally had no reaction. I highly recommend this storage facility.

A good place to use for storage. I rented from here for a few months. The facility is kept in good condition, and the staff was always friendly. It is important to know that the it is a little bit difficult to enter the facility, and that it is open only at certain hours. If these are not a problem for you, I would recommend this facility

My family and I had a bad experience with a well-known moving equipment and storage rental company. They would not remove the tow dolly on the rental truck for us, so we had to drive the truck including the tow dolly inside the Public Storage facility on 15th Ave W in Seattle, WA which was cumbersome. We were exhausted and frustrated, but Kyle came to our rescue. We were not sure how we were going to drive the truck with the tow dolly out of the storage facility, but Kyle helped us tremendously with his practical advice and direction. My family and I manually removed the tow dolly and transported all of our belongings into our storage unit successfully. We finished just before 6:00 pm when the storage facility closes. We received excellent service from Kyle, he even stayed almost 30 minutes after 6:00 pm just to make sure we were able to reconnect the tow dolly and drive the truck out of the storage area safely. I can't thank him enough! I wish the world was filled with more people like Kyle. It is truly a pleasure doing business with Public Storage. Thanks a bunch!!!! :-)

Although Aron did a great job of showing us around and explaining the process of renting a locker (it was only his second day), the location was not great. We walked through many dark hallways because the lights did not work. It was cold, as it is not a heated building. And it just felt old and unkept. Not impressed.

Patrick and Kyle are awesome! They are always very friendly, helpful and were very willing to work with us to get the right unit we needed. They keep the property well maintained and always clean. It's so nice to know that we can keep our belongings at a storage unit where the manager really cares about his customers!

Kyle is great! I'm really glad he was there to help me figure out exactly the right size storage unit and how much packing supplies I would need. The property is clean and well maintained, and prices are reasonable for so close to the city.

Had a basic storage unit for a little over a year and experienced zero problems and great customer service. I found a good deal online (I hear it's best to start there vs. at the actual location) and the team at 15th Ave. W. walked me through how to load in/out. Pretty simple. Online payment scheduling/reminders were easy/helpful. They were even kind enough to waive a late fee when our last payment was missed during the chaos of moving. The day we vacated our unit, Patrick and Ryan were nothing but professional, even helping us lift an awkward piece of furniture into the truck. Convenient, in-city storage.

Our unit door was installed in a way that left the unit accessible by simply wiggling the door, even when locked. When we discovered that this issue, it had resulted in theft, so we requested immediate repair or relocation. We were left waiting on a door repair person for 3 hours, long after paid employees had gone home for the day. The employees, all the way to the district manager, were unconcerned and dismissive, even though the theft was a result of improper door installation. While repairing the door, the repair person noted that they were aware of 5 other units on our level with the same problem, so it doesn't appear that our unit's lack of basic security is unique. Also, the night we discovered the break in, one of the freight elevators had somehow gone off track. Neither safety nor security seem to be priorities for this location. The customer service wasn't great either.

Carrie went above and beyond to help me in a difficult situation. She was friendly, helpful and full of information. She truly wanted to find the appropriate solution for my storage needs. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Carrie for going above and beyond to make a not so pleasant task actually kind of fun!

Wonderful service! I only needed a unit for a few weeks while I moved and Carrie made my experience as smooth as could possibly be! She was attentive, provided unit sizing advice, and was able as friendly as could be. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a short term or long term storage unit. (Hint: Online they have deals where the first month is discounted or free and there are no lease terms)

The worst storage facility I've ever used for numerous reasons. Everything is broken.

Had their smallest unit availabe there for a couple months. Was affordable, convenient, and service was great. Reservations, sign-up, and move-out was super easy. Carrie was super helpful and made sure everything was squared away and done right. If you go in the morning or late afternoon you'll likely have to wait in line to be helped and on the weekend expect waiting up to 45-minutes. The downsides: 1) There were only 2 moving carts/dollys, so if it's busy you'll have to wait a while and sometimes stalk people to get a cart. 2) The building is kind of run down, be weary of water leaks and excess moisture creeping in. Definitely inspect your unit and protect your stuff accordingly.

*BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH SCHEME THAT CANNOT BE FIXED!!!* Public Storage is a disaster and they royally screwed my wife and me over on the eve of our cross country move to Seattle from NYC. Nothing quite like making an online reservation for $171 (with a confirmation email to prove it) only to get a call two days later to tell us that the unit is actually going to cost us $240. This discrepancy (that Public Storage never remedied) would kick off a frustrating odyssey that would haunt our first month in Seattle. We raised a fuss and were initially rebuffed by customer service regarding what appeared to be a blatant bait and switch move (they called it a computer "glitch"). When we stood our ground the poor folks working in the office in Queen Anne referred us to their corporate boss regarding getting our rent bill changed back to the original price we booked online because apparently Public Storage doesn't trust their own employees with this kind of thing(???) Their corporate boss is worth mentioning by name; KEVIN BRIDGES initially dodged me for weeks. Three phone calls were made with voicemails left and he returned zero of these calls. Only after I called his boss, Lisa was I graced with a phone call from Kevin. Do you think that talking to Kevin did any good? NOPE! Over the next few weeks Kevin would have us believe that he would get the price adjusted ultimately to no avail. A month after our initial reservation I was receiving emails telling me rent was due in the amount of $240. Is Kevin incompetent? A liar? Poor communicator? All of the above? Whatever the case may be, do not waste your time with Public Storage! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! After getting ZERO satisfaction from Public Storage WE MOVED OUR STUFF OUT! If anyone can explain to me how after many many phone calls to the corporate offices at Public Storage I couldn't get a simple price adjustment I'd love to hear about it. Never in my life have I encountered such a debacle when dealing with a large company. This is the type of problem that should be dealt with PROMPTLY AND ON THE SPOT. The fact that Public Storage (Kevin in particular) made our move extra stressful and complicated and that we wasted far too much time on this is baffling and something I will never forget. I'll say it again; BUYER BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH THAT CANNOT BE FIXED!!!

The people make the storage facility a warm and welcoming place , I rented a parking spot for a month and my experience with the staff running the facility was the best i have ever had , very professional , very friendly and engaging , clean and most importantly easy. i did not have any difficulty in renting and i could leave anytime i wanted with short notice. personally i enjoy freedom and i felt free to manage my schedule with them , access codes for entry during after hours made it even more so. The pricing compared to all others was the most reasonable and it was inside storage for a 20 FT TRAILER!... that price beat the "OUTSIDE" storage rates of the other facilities in the neighborhood! Thank you for everything & when i Seattle and needing storage i now know where to go. Thank you foe everything & wishing you the best in business and in life. J

On a scale of 1-5 stars, Carrie at the Queen Anne Public Storage facility really cranked it up to 11! A situation arose, which in no way was Public Storage's fault, and Carrie worked diligently with me to help get it resolved constructively. She really went the extra mile to help me. Her customer service and friendliness made a real difference, and I would recommend her unhesitatingly to anyone who is looking for a real professional. Thank you so much, Carrie.

Really great experience, Julian was extremely knowledgeable and friendly as he walked me thru the entire process. I have never rented a storage unit before so I didn't know what to expect, but the building is clean and well lit, and they have ample parking and a lot of dollies available for use. The boxes they sell are high quality and can definitely be reused/resold.

Notice how all the reviews of this storage facility talk about the employees and their service? How come no reviews of the facility itself? It's abysmal. There are two elevators, one has an "out of service" sign on it and the other barely runs (in slow motion) with the door getting frequently stuck. There is commonly a line of people waiting for the elevator both at the ground floor entrance and at each level of the building. There are no storage units on the ground floor so you must use the elevator and thus join the line. There is only 1 cart so you either wait for someone to be done with it or you carry your stuff and load it directly in the elevator, propping the door open as you load, which then slows the whole process down for everyone else. When I complained, the people in the office just shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do. When I asked about another cart they said they were "trying to get some more", which is exactly what they told me when I moved in 3 months before. Avoid this storage facility unless you like to waste your time loading & unloading your stuff.

The price is great too. Another company was trying to charge me twice as much! I'm glad I stopped by! Allan and Ray were very friendly as well and helped get the box to my car.

I have nothing but great things to say about my overall experience. Our stuff was always accessible, the staff friendly & helpful, & when the time for us to move our stuff out (we bought a new house with more space), the process was simple. I would definitely do business with Public Storage again.

I've been a tenant of this location for the last nine months, and I love it. I run a small business, and I can't afford to pay for a large amount of storage space every month. Storage places are perfect, and this location is the best I have found. I researched 10-15 different storage facilies in the area before I rented here, and this location had the best rates on a 10x15 - 10x20 unit. The staff here are also extremely helpfull. When I first started renting the main attendants were Les and Brandon. Les moved to a different location, and now Julian and Brandon are the main guys. They are always friendly and courteous, always available to answere any questions, and in general seem to have a good idea of what's going on. When my business out grew my initial storage unit, I asked Julian and Brandon to let me know if another one were to become available. They kept me informed of what was coming up, and I was able to get in on another unit, right down the hall from my first one. As a small business owner, I depend on people like this to help me make it. I value their help enough to give them holiday gift cards this past year. They are THAT worth it. If someone was looking for a storage place, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend this storage facility.
