Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 8550 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA

I have been renting with public storage since 2019. And no one had been had helpful as Eugene and Tanya. My roof is leaking and they immediately sprung into action. They got me transferred to another unit and helped with all my issues. I'm very pleased with the staff at this location. They deserve a raise.

Eugene I still holding down the fort here. He has really turned this location around for the BETTER!!!! He's mellow, and helpful. I highly recommend you go check him out and rent a storage.

Tanya was so polite, professional and patient with me. She stayed late when I called to wait for me despite the delays in traffic. I thought that was so kind of her. Caring for her customers.

Ms. Tonya is great. She was very helpful,made sure I had everything I needed for my move and knew all the details about the storage unit and property.

Eugene is Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable young man that's willing to do whatever necessary to aid his customers.

They are in the office when they feel like it and answer return phone calls when they feel like it. I worked like these employees do I would have been fired from my job.

This particular Public Storage wrongly advertised they had climate controlled units. They do not. I rented from them with that need and when I went to check in and realized there were no climate controlled units, I cancelled immediately. Instead of admitting their mistake, it took me 4 months to get a partial refund while they kept $21 for their inconvenience. Their inconvenience? I wouldn’t have wasted my time nor theirs for that matter had they advertised correctly. There are plenty of other places around this one to rent that won’t try to scam you. Do yourself a favor and check them out first.

The gate didn't work for about a week. The roof leaks, thank goodness not in my unit but the unit next to me. The staff, although very kind and helpful, gave different answers to the same questions.

OK so this is a long story. I've been a customer here for a while and got a storage unit when the deals on the internet said $130 a month. After a few months the price was raised then a few months later it was raised again. I'm now paying $196. I went in and tried to ask if I could go back to the original price and the clerk was like a deer in headlights. I called corporate and asked them and they just told me that is just how much that type of room cost with real estate the way it is. I tell them they are offering my size unit online for 130. They tell me tough luck. So, I leave a review similar to this one on google. I get an e-mail a few days later from the district manager asking if there is anything she can do. I say lower your prices. She says she will but, in the meantime, she would credit the account to make up for the next few months and that at the end of that time period I should contact her, and they should be able to adjust again. So, I take down the review. The time period ends so I e-mail her and get no response. I e-mail again and no response. I e-mail once more, and she says that she would look at it on October 1st. I wait and e-mail again and no response. It's the following march and still nothing. I'll be moving out as soon as I can find room for the stuff. This is probably pretty standard for storage unit companies, but I just want people to know that the long-term storage will be ~$60 more than they hook you in with.
