I've used other storage companies in the past, but this one stands out because of Melissa. You can tell she really takes pride in the facility—it’s clean, that's what she was doing when I was moving in. I feel completely safe keeping my belongings here. She explained the lock system here. I love it! Very high tech. She was professional, kind, and answered all my questions. Highly recommend!"

The bluetooth storage lock would not work today. There was no one in the office to assist during the hours where there is supposed to be someone there to assist with access issues. Nobody wanted to answer the phone number for the facility property manager. Customer service was terrible and hung up on us - only managed to get a live person on the phone when I called the new customer line, not for the existing customers. There is no reason for there to not be an attendant during working hours when you literally pay for one to be there and working hours are advertised!!! This property is clearly poorly managed with no one available to open malfunctioning unit locks. I would leave zero stars if I could.
Much better run property than the last owners. The exit key pad inside the main gate feels like it’s gonna fall over. Almost have to hold it with two hands to enter the codes. And the App ads are bit annoying. You have to be in the perfect spot for the front gate access on the app to connect at times but all in all Pretty smooth. The gate is never broken down anymore and really never a dirty site like previously - I feel it’s a fair rate I think and human customer service and comms is a huge plus.
This Public Storage location was clean, organized, and easy to get in and out of, which already made the experience better than expected. I was helped by Joseph, who made the setup process straightforward and efficient. He took the time to explain the different unit options, pricing, and access details clearly, without overcomplicating anything or trying to upsell.
What stood out most was how smooth the entire visit felt. Nothing felt rushed, and there was no pressure to make quick decisions. Joseph answered questions honestly and made sure everything made sense before moving forward, which made the process feel calm and well managed. It’s one of those situations where things just work the way they’re supposed to.
Overall, this was a very easy, low stress experience from start to finish. The facility itself is well kept and secure, and the customer service made a noticeable difference. I’d feel comfortable recommending this location to anyone looking for a reliable storage option.

This place is horrible. I have tried contacting someone and never get a response. I have a supposedly climate controlled unit on Pearman dairy in Anderson sc.
there is never anyone there and they don’t return calls.
My furniture was stored there for about a year and went to get it, it was moldy and the place was hot and humid inside. The first person I got ahold of told me they keep it at 80 degrees and that they were trying to figure out how to get rid of the humidity! Then gave me $23 a month off from now on. I’m sorry but I’m removing the rest of my things as soon as possible. That does not justify my loss.
I also paid for the insurance they offered and it covers mold but only up to $250. With A $100 deductible. What a joke
I have not been able to talk to anyone. One recording after another. Very frustrating.

When I first needed a storage unit, I was overwhelmed—downsizing, moving, and trying to figure out where to put years of memories. Walking into Public Storage, I immediately felt welcomed. The staff didn’t just treat me like another customer; they treated me like a neighbor who needed help.
The manager Joseph took time to listen, walked me through the options, and made sure I chose the unit that fit my budget and needs. It wasn’t about pushing the biggest unit or upselling—it was about making sure I felt secure. I can’t tell you how much that meant. With the death of my late husband, things have just felt so rushed and unorganized, not to mention an extremely expensive process. Public Storage has given me peace of mind with this whole process.
Every visit, I’ve felt that same sense of safety and respect. The property is always clean and well-lit, and I never once worried about my belongings. It honestly felt like I wasn’t just storing boxes, but storing pieces of my life—things that mean something to me. Knowing my husband's belongings are being cared for gave me one less thing to lose sleep over.

Access was always super easy and direct, unit perfectly suited my needs, pricing was definitely a little high but still quite reasonable for the level of tech and access. Very easy to share access for help moving in/out and picking things up as needed. When it came time to move out, I had a wonderful experience with Bailee; after a long day of making calls and dealing with pains everywhere, I was on and off the phone and moved out in less than 3 minutes, absolutely made my day

Jalen was very helpful and walked me through the documents and set up on app.I do have a concern though. Why are the gates open during the day? Gates should be locked so only people with access codes can enter the gates. That’s why I am giving a four star review. I was a little discussed with the unit though. There was trash in there and a bunch of rat poop in the unit. I had to sweep it out before we can load anything into it.
