If you have the unfortunate luck to deal with Heidi from this public storage location you will be disappointed with the customer service, very rude and talked about other customers with a negative attitude and derogatory words, Hedi will not give you a code and force you to wait on her time causing you to lose about 2 hours out of your day just sitting around and waiting, DO NOT BUY A UNIT HERE
Heidi was who helped us. She was VERY good with explaining everything to us. She was up front with all the rules which was good to know ahead of time since all places are different. She was very helpful and also respectful! I absolutely LOVED her personality as well. I would definitely purchase another unit here any day! Thank you for everything Heidi!!

Couldn’t be more grateful to Heidi for all she does for her customers at Public Storage.
I received all the help and information I needed from a buttoned ~up, friendly,
professional woman, who is the full-time manager. The facility is immaculate, there
are a good selection of unit sizes, including small sizes, which is what I was looking for.
The price is reasonable and the agreement is for half a year, which works for me. Like any storage facility, insurance is required, so beware of this going in.
All in all ~ I give the W St Paul location A+
Heidi has been great and very helpful.
We rented a unit here for over 2 years. Heidi was a fantastic property manager! Always very pleasant to speak with. She was very good about notifying us of important things like routine maintenance of doors, or our door lock not being properly set, she definitely is checking the units on a regular basis. The property always felt well maintained and we never had any concerns with storing our valuables here. Never had any issues with pests; rodent, bug, or otherwise.. I would rent here again.
Heidi was very helpful and knowledgeable about all my questions and my needs of what I needed for a storage unit. She was kind and very warm and inviting and made me feel as if I’ve known her forever even though I have not and I just met her. Heidi Was not concerned whether or not I was going to get a storage unit from Public Storage as she was more concerned for my belongings and whether or not they were able to assist me with a unit big enough. In the end, I was able to get a storage unit big enough for my needs and Heidi is by far one of the most nicest and caring human being that I’ve had the pleasure to talk with and make me feel that my belongings would be safe and sound, and if there’s anything that I would need further that she would try to accommodate or Public Storage would try to accommodate as I needed in the future. If you’re looking for a storage unit and a great person to give you the information you’re seeking and incredible customer servicethen public storage West St. Paul, Minnesota Is the place I would recommend to store your belongings. I give Heidi and Public Storage a five star on this experience.

I rented a space there for 4 years, and never had a bad experience. The manager Heidi does a good job.
I'd just like to say that Heidi the Manager at the Wsp location is top notch. Whenever there is a problem or disturbance, she is on it and contacts me immediately. She keeps the grounds kept up nice abd us readily available. She also was able to help me save $, which I'm extremely grateful for. Thank you soo much, Heidi. Keep up the 1st rate job you do.
Terrible customer service. Was told someone would be onsite. Drove an hour to meet them. No one was there. Waited another hour being on hold and told someone would show up. No one did. Was told to come back tomorrow……
Someone put rat poison in my locker after I locked it and was out of town for months. It wasn't there when I originally rented it.
Rat feces/urine on everything I owned. Two dead rats in storage, one dead rat in a mattress.

Heidi is great! Very helpful and responsive. Place was clean and secure. I was impressed that everything in my unit was dry and clean after a huge storm.
At West St Paul Public Storage I was treated like gold! I lost my keys and they drilled out and replaced my lock in a timely manner. When I told her I couldn't afford the unit any more she requested a rate reduction (which was granted) without me asking. As a result I will be staying with West St Paul Public Storage.
The lady at the front desk is one of the rudest people you will ever meet, she lives Right next to the building so she wanders home instead of being at the desk and also refused to let us pay a few times.

I gave three stars on because there is never anyone in the office when I come there. I live in a different city and I have drive 20-30 to bring my mom to her storage unit.

But I will say each time me or my mom called Heidi always returns our calls within a day and answers all of our questions and help with any concerns that my mother may have. Her customer service is awesome!

Heidi!! I wanted to get a smaller unit as I have been getting rid of things in my current. I called Heidi and we met the next day. She showed me some other options and then BOOM! we did the fast paperwork and today I swapped. She is so helpful, kind, respectful and always sweeping and checking on units. I found out right before my payment was due that I had fraud on my bank account that was used here for automatic payments. I was forced to close it and open a new account, but I wouldn't be able to make the automatic payment for January. I called and was told it was ok and to come in with the alternate form of payment as soon as I could. By the time I got there to pay for my storage, there was a late fee attached. Heidi (the manager) was there and was super nice and very helpful. She assured me she would go out of her way with corporate to make sure the late fee was removed. 1 day later she called and told me that the fee was removed and to call her if I had any issues with the next payment. That was wonderful news to me. I recommend this Public Storage facility!!

I had a great experience with the (new?) manager on 10/1/23. She was very helpful in closing our account of 5 years. I noticed she was driving around the storage units the morning I was there and making sure everything was okay and then she stopped to talk and help us with moving decisions on a final few things. Thank you for your kindness and great management of the storage unit!

Very nice clean place. Heidi was super cool. Had rent go up on me and she was able to get me a rent reduction for the next few months ahead. That will save me a few headaches. Highly recommend this place.

Terrible customer service, I found an online promo made my reservation then found out the unit I rented was unavailable so we agreed to honor the promo for a slightly larger unit they proceeded to charge me for the larger unit and denied the existence of a promo.

Can't access my storage unit because of the snow piled in front of the door and the ends can't drive around you have to back out after you enter
My experience at first was a nightmare, but once someone was actually in the office everything went very well, I was able to upgrade to a larger unit with no problem.

The on-site Manager, Heidi, is AMAZING! Was reluctant to come back to this facility after last year, but she has cleaned the place up, and is so attentive to her tenants needs. She truly cares and it shows in her position. She is the SOLE reason we came back to this location!
