Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1470 Main Street, Weymouth, MA

Rent will go up $40 every 6 months or so (started at $189, now paying over $300 for 10x10) Unit next to mine was broken into and robbed in February 2023. Weymouth Police contacted me. Officer was disappointed after the District Manager for the area said they would reach out to me first (never has). Not climate controlled. On hot days, the temperature inside the building is well into the 80s. On the 1st floor there is always a huge puddle which leaks into other units. Bathrooms are always locked and there is nobody on duty. Gate is usually broken so not secure facility. Could be a great facility but it starts at the top and the top doesn't seem to care.

I worked through a billing issue I had today with Capri. She was courteous, efficient and kind. Thank you for being fantastic Capri! I have worked with Sema(?spelling) for a long time and she is a doll also. Business owner is lucky to have them both. I just wanted to add to my review. I wanted to take a minute to Thank Anthony, the District Manager for this facility and Shama. I had another billing issue at this facility and I am happy to report that Anthony and Shama kindly took the time to work with me and manager the issue promptly and professionally. I really appreciate the time, service and kindness they exhibited to rectify my problem.

This place couldn’t possibly make storage more complicated and frustrating. This location doesn’t have anyone onsite, everything has to be done by appointment. Which means if you have an immediate issue, you will have to call the main number where they may or may not be able to help you after waiting on hold for at least 10 minutes. Our gate code didn’t work and it was a 1.5 hour hassle to get in and out (and the issue still isn’t actually resolved). There were other issues too that would take a short story to explain. Find a different storage place if you want a hassle-free experience.

Shama provides excellent customer service and is very kind and professional with how she answers questions.

Capree was such a delight! She was incredibly helpful with my move out process. The storage unit itself was close to the highway, easy to get in and out of. They have large push carts for free inside the building which made it so easy! Definitely recommended this location!

Customer service was disappointing. If you go in to pay the unit personally or have a question about your unit or about your bill, there is never anyone around in the Weymouth Public Storage unit in at 1470 Main Street Weymouth.

Shama was very helpful in person after I had some difficulty signing up for my unit online. Shama was very kind, answered all my questions and got me signed up. I appreciated her help!

So imma be honest and not beat around the bush sharma is to pushy especially on the day i started to rent a unit there she kept pushing me to post a review and it was extremely uncomfortable and after 3 months of me being there they tried going up on the rent to 130 for a 5x10 so i called customer service and they went back to a greed amount 3 months later they pushed to 130 again i tried to pay my rent on the first but the app messed up so i was NOT able to pay it or access my belongings and they charged me a $20 late fee that i had to fight to get waved i told Sharma that my stuff was going to be out by the first so she decided to lock me out of my unit over $20 witch is sad there is one property manger who helped me with pushing the late fee to waved and was wicked nice about it and wasn't pushy at all she also got me my access back so i can retrieve my belongings and move out to goto a different storage place with better prices and NO rent increases at all but if you ask me Sharma is not good at her job and makes people uncomfortable and is extremely pushy and locked me out of unit over $20 and did nothing to help me at all

Got the pleasure to be assisted by Capree. She was well spoken and could understand everything on the agreement that she explained. I’m definitely confident I picked the right public storage!

I had to downsize in storage space and she made the transition so easy in explaining what I needed to do plus she was able to get me my new unit that was literally a few feet away.
